09/01/2026: I've been here for 10 minutes and they still haven't served me.

08/01/2026: After waiting for almost 15 minutes while the bartender was busy with his phone and other things, despite the queue and the people calling him, I got a horrible brioche (paid €1.50), I've never eaten such a hard brioche, almost certainly from the day before and raw inside.

10/04/2026: Uncomplicated. Honest. Always good. 🍝 Villa Golini is exactly the kind of place you'd hope for: family-run, welcoming, simply furnished, but with truly excellent cuisine. Unfortunately, our food was only lukewarm that day... With plenty of parking and a children's play area in front of the house, you immediately feel relaxed. And above all: welcome. On your plate, you'll find honest, home-style cooking, fresh and flavorful. Want some examples? Passatelli in brodo: classic, well-rounded, and comforting. Gnocchetti di ricotta e ortiche ai funghi porcini e cardoncelli: wonderfully aromatic, even if they were served a bit lukewarm today. Grilliata mista di carne: juicy, robust, just as you'd expect in Romagna. ... And a real treat to go with it: the Rosé Spumante 🍾 “Bruno e le Rose” from Ceci 1938. Fresh, lively, simply perfect. Many locals come here, and that often says more than any review. If you like things uncomplicated, good, and fairly priced, this is the place for you. We've never been disappointed. And we'll definitely be back.

24/03/2026: Staff not up to the task, shame

19/03/2026: It's right near the Rocca, so it's ideal for a nice walk. We went there for dinner: the welcome was friendly and family-friendly. We ordered the tagliata and it was fine. We were in a hurry, so we skipped dessert, but hey, it was nice, it's a quiet place.

19/02/2026: This restaurant offers an excellent meat and fish menu. My husband loved their pappardelle with wild boar and their millefeuille, and my herb tortelli were truly delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, something you rarely find these days! Highly recommended!

12/04/2026: Unfortunately, I don't recommend staying at this hotel. It's an older property that needs updating, and it's located in a narrow, inconvenient area for parking. The rooms are clean, but with the bare essentials. The bed is hard and there's only one pillow. There's no outlet in the bathroom, and you couldn't open the windows, otherwise the pigeons would get in! Since there are so many abandoned hotels around, there's an infestation of pigeons, which results in poop on windows, balconies, and windowsills. Breakfast is poor and limited. No service. Leaks in the walls and ceilings in the hallways.

09/04/2026: Family stay over Easter. Like all hotels in Chianciano, the hotel is starting to look a bit dated. The room for four was large and clean. The reception staff were very friendly. We had some issues with breakfast, but perhaps it was just bad luck. However, before leaving, I mentioned it to the reception because it's right to make them aware. I didn't use the restaurant.
