13/01/2026: The pizza is embarrassing; the dough is hard and the quality of the ingredients isn't top-notch. If you try to reheat it, it becomes a brick to eat...very heavy. I understand that it's the only pizzeria by the slice in Rivergaro and therefore tops its category, being the only one, but if we had to rank it against the other traditional pizzerias in Rivergaro and its surrounding areas, I'd say it would rank last.

09/02/2026: Everything was perfect. Cinzia and Simone manage everything independently, in an incredible way. We stayed in the wooden suite and had dinner in their restaurant... we truly enjoyed it. The suite has every comfort you need to relax, even meditation/yoga mats with a pillow... we ate wonderfully at dinner. We also want to highlight the service of the young man who helps them as a waiter: kind, polite, and committed... unique! Cinzia has that holistic, oriental, zen touch that makes you feel at home. Simone has a passion for cooking, meat, and wine (an immense cellar) that would make you want to eat anything... my partner was amazed! For anyone who needs to relax and unwind from the daily routine/stress... this place is the perfect choice. I thought, "This is peace of mind!" Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: A refined atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious sandwiches that invite you to choose. I also tried the pizza, which was thin and well-topped; I wasn't expecting it (though I really enjoyed it). The prices may be a bit high for the location (Rivergaro), but they're in line with the food and service. Recommended.

26/01/2026: Stefano has been running this place for 30 years!! I've always had a great time. Sure, he's retired, but he always runs it with love, and that's what matters. The fish is fresh, as he goes fishing every week (because he's a huge fan), as are the mushrooms!! If you're looking for refined and elegant cuisine, you've come to the wrong place, but if you're looking for welcoming and family-friendly cuisine, you've hit the nail on the head!

07/01/2026: Amazing seafood, a family atmosphere, a true old-fashioned trattoria. Stefano, the owner and chef, is the heart and soul of the place.

24/09/2025: Excessive prices for the quality, but especially the quantity of ice cream on a brioche that cost €6 plus €0.50 for extra cream! I admit the price increases and all, but if you're shelling out that kind of money, the product has to be up to par.

11/12/2025: Antica Osteria di Niviano was a top choice for us. The staff was very kind, attentive, and helpful. We had two small children with us, and they were kind enough to prioritize their dishes so they could eat right away. Excellent food, the appetizer with Piacenza cured meats was delicious, the first courses were fabulous, and the meat was excellent.
