Agriturismo La Fattoria
Bettola
Personale cmq molto professionale.
Il punteggio di 4 è riferito all’ottimo cibo che oggettivamente merita, ma il conto è sicuramente salato!

Panificio Sidoli Luigi
Piacenza
03/04/2025: A bakery at the end of Pubblico Passeggio and just before the beginning of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. I'm only talking about the confectionery part, as I didn't want to try the focaccia, as it didn't convince me. Personally, in fact, I prefer it low and well soaked in oil, and that one had neither of the two characteristics. As for the breakfast products, however, I was satisfied. The croissant dough was slightly flaky, but no less pleasant; in fact, it's delicious, considering it's a bakery. I wasn't convinced by the different fillings, not because they weren't good, but because of their meager presence inside the croissants. Some jams really put in with little effort, and it's a shame, because if I had wanted empty croissants I would have taken them without spending more for the addition. There is a need for substance in things. Even the girl at the counter didn't seem to be particularly present, despite her kindness, as she asked us several times if we wanted to put the pumpkin bread in the same bag as the croissants, despite being quite clear that, by doing so, it would have gotten dirty. It almost seemed like he wanted to save bags. The pistachio tart, however, is good, a product that I don't usually find around. I appreciate that the pastry had a fairly strong hint of lemon, without overdoing it; it contrasted well with the pistachio. I don't count it among my reference bakeries in Piacenza, but I appreciate the vast variety of sweet and savory options on the counter. I will happily return to try one of their peach and amaretti tarts.
