03/08/2025: I have Sicilian relatives who live in Germany... and when they come down they stop at my place in Salso... and they want to eat torta fritta... over the years I've bought it everywhere. But the one that makes ceriati is unbeatable... the best torta fritta... and also the parmesan cream... which is not cut with cream but is parmesan cream... they are the number 1...

02/08/2025: We visited this trattoria on a summer evening, high in the hills of Salso. I rate it excellent, among the best trattorias in the entire Emilia-Romagna region. Starting with the torta fritta and mixed cured meats, fried polenta with lard, sautéed mushrooms and fried porcini mushrooms, mezzelune pasta with truffles, tagliatelle with meat sauce, and finally tiramisu and coconut semifreddo. The house wine was good. The staff was friendly and quick. We just met you and we're confident we'll always find the same passion and quality in providing the best local flavors. See you next time!

09/08/2025: Abbiamo deciso di passare la serata al ristorante Incontro di Salso io e le mie cugine, per il nostro periodico incontro di famiglia, e ne siamo rimaste come ogni volta entusiaste ! Pizza e carpaccio di pesce ottimi. E non dimentichiamo che si può anche fare asporto quando si vuole !

25/07/2025: Nice place for a 2-days stay, with Parma and Modena easily reachable by car. The staff is friendly, the rooms cozy, the breakfast delicious, and the swimming pool amazing. Can definitely recommend! :)

31/05/2025: Excellent food and very welcoming staff.. we ate two wonderful tastings of local products and had a pleasant conversation with the owners. Should we return to Salsomaggiore, we will definitely return.

14/05/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant with colleagues. The restaurant is very nice and welcoming, but it doesn't have a dedicated parking lot. Being in Salsomaggiore, I can imagine that during periods of high tourist influx there is little parking, even though in this period (May) on Tuesday we found a place quite easily. It is a family-run restaurant, the lady who served us was very kind, but unfortunately the service was extremely slow: for an appetizer, a first course and a dessert I think two and a half hours is too long. Even though the lady explained to us that they didn't expect to receive so many reservations on a Tuesday, in my opinion this is not an excuse: if you keep the restaurant open and accept reservations, as a professional you must be able to serve everyone adequately. Decent food, but all in all nothing particularly exciting.

26/05/2025: A tourist passing through, attracted by the excellent reviews, I stopped to get a kebab and I must say I was not wrong. Excellent crunchy bread and excellent condiments, excellent service. As for the meat, it is good but we all know that it is not home-grown.

03/05/2025: Vegetarian and vegan options! I had hummus with pita and plantains with peanut sauce and they were both phenomenal. There was also a veggie burger on the menu.

09/07/2025: If I could give zero, I would have done it my son's wedding. The owner, Mr. Luigi, casts his line and fishes because at the first meeting, the menu costs €70 per person. He immediately asks for a deposit. You see the place and decide to book. But then in the end, they wanted to add a €50 extra fish per person and a €5 sorbet per person. We bought the mosquito candles ourselves. If there were children three years and older sitting there, they paid the full price. High chairs for children were only available for two; you had to bring your own. Then, during the reception, the owner called the groom because he wanted an extra €200 for the 1 kilogram of pasta made for the children. Then the dessert and fruit buffet cost over a thousand euros. There were two trays of fruit and two of miniature pastries. Not to mention the restrooms, the owner said there was a woman who kept them tidy. Two hours into the reception, they were malfunctioning, doors wouldn't close, and there was no paper towel to dry your hands. Terrible experience. You couldn't find Mr. Luigi. You asked for an explanation on the sheet and he said to speak to his Father I don't recommend it, also because I made a bad impression on the guests. It's a place to avoid in my opinion. Stay away if you can, and it's a money-suck.

22/07/2025: Well done, well done, well done! We ate well and authentically, from appetizer to dessert. I can't eat milk, and they brought me pan-fried peaches—fabulous! A lovely place to dine both inside and out (the stove is wonderful in the winter). Run by a very friendly family.

18/07/2025: The food is good. We had tagliolini with loin. But the portion was really small! To our surprise, three people at the table next to us (of 14, well known to the owner), received enormous portions of tagliolini!
