03/11/2025: Holiday lunch began with gnocco and ham, calzagatti, porcini mushroom crostini, and fried cod. First courses included caramels, tortelloni, and rice. A small criticism: the caramels were a little hard on the folds, but the filling was delicious, and the rice was delicious. I would recommend using crispy chopped bacon lengthwise, rather than a whole slice, which, while beautiful, doesn't cover the entire plate. Second courses included sliced ​​steak and rib-eye steak, which was remade without any problems because they had accidentally cooked it not rare. A decidedly positive experience, with prices in line with the quality. Next time we'll try the borlenghi, which we didn't order this time.

You can reserve a table for a large group or for a more intimate and quiet evening. On the downside, perhaps some of the waiters aren't always able to hide their emotions and show a bit of disappointment, but nothing serious: they remain friendly and always try to offer customers something to eat.

17/08/2025: We wanted to visit the Castello di Montegibbio, but discovered that it was closed at the time of our visit due to Ferragosto. This was a bit disappointing, as we were looking forward to seeing the interior and taking guided tours. 📍 Location & Surroundings ✅ The castle is idyllically situated on a hill, surrounded by green forests and vineyards, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. ✅ Easily accessible by car, although the last few kilometers are a narrow country road. ✅ Parking is available, but sometimes limited when visitors are busy. 🏰 Buildings & Architecture ✅ From the outside, the castle appears impressively well-preserved, with historic walls and towers. ⚠️ Unfortunately, we couldn't visit anything inside because the castle was closed. ✅ The view and the outdoor area of the castle are still perfect for taking photos and strolling. 👥 Service & Information ✅ The staff on site were friendly and were able to provide information about opening hours. ⚠️ No access to tours or interior areas at the time of our visit. 🍽 Dining & Offers ⚠️ Due to the closure, no dining options were available. Conclusion: The Castello di Montegibbio is impressive both scenically and architecturally. However, our visit unfortunately fell on Ferragosto, so we were unable to experience the interior areas. Therefore, only 4 stars, otherwise it would have been a full score.

07/10/2025: A little pizza gem in Vignola. Be on time, and hopefully, there's a table available. The service is excellent; with a little English, you can manage quite well. Enormous pizza, as thin as a newspaper, but incredibly delicious!!! Wide selection. Excellent wine. The Caffè Coretto con Sambuca is delicious.

The setting is wonderful, the food truly excellent, especially the gramigna pasta with ragù, which was greatly appreciated by all the guests. 07/10/2025: I'm having a wonderful time! I discovered this place on my second day of work at Levi, a school less than 300 meters away. You can walk there, and I have to say I was immediately amazed by the quantity and, above all, the variety of food (maybe not all top-notch, but the prices are almost like those of a soup kitchen... So). The staff is almost entirely women (all with smiles plastered on their faces), and besides being friendly, it's a pleasure to watch them work as a team. And, as we all know, a winning team NEVER CHANGES! I hope to be able to keep coming for 2 or 3 lunches a week like I am now... Congratulations. P.S. Update October 25th: I think the quality has improved!

18/08/2025: We arrived by chance as it was one of the very few places open. We had dinner with tigelle and cutting boards... good food, fast and attentive service. Dining in the square, under the lights on a breezy evening is priceless. Very good place 👍
