30/07/2026: A delightful surprise! It was my first time at this osteria, nestled in the Modena countryside and among the Lambrusco vineyards. The restaurant is a blend of Emilian food and wine tradition and a contemporary vision: a place designed to rediscover the pleasure of good wine and hospitality, where the historic flavors of the region blend with some successful modern experimentation. The building is a carefully renovated old farmhouse, with rustic-modern spaces characterized by exposed beams, high ceilings, and a warm, light-filled, old-world atmosphere. The view of the vineyards provides a truly relaxing and evocative setting. The menu highlights Emilian cuisine, placing great emphasis on seasonality and the quality of the ingredients (with the addition, in summer, of a garden BBQ featuring fine meats). For our tasting, we chose gnocco fritto with Parma ham Rossi and Favola mortadella, macaroni al pettine with white farmyard ragù, beef tagliata with rosemary and sweet Cervia salt, pink fillet of Iberian pork with herbs, honey mustard sauce and roasted peach, and potatoes with a sand tangerine sauce. All the dishes were excellent, well-executed, and prepared with quality ingredients. The service is provided by a young, well-trained, and professional staff. If you're in the area, I absolutely recommend it: you won't be disappointed!
