05/06/2026: During our visit to Carpi, after spending a busy morning at the Museum of the Deportation and the memorial sites in Fossoli, we stopped for lunch at Piadineria Butega Romagnola Carpi, a pleasant discovery in the heart of the city.
I chose a piadina with cooked ham, arugula, and cheese, while my brother opted for a delicious combination of brie and zucchini. Both were flavorful, well-filled, and made with quality ingredients. The piadina was fragrant and very tasty, perfect for a quick but satisfying break.
We ate lunch at the restaurant's tables, immersed in the pleasant hustle and bustle of the historic center. The atmosphere was simple, authentic, and welcoming, made even more pleasant by the kindness and friendliness of the ladies who served us. The prices are absolutely reasonable, and the quality/price ratio is truly excellent.
Carpi is a very charming town, with a splendid square that is certainly worth a visit. After taking time to reminisce and explore history, treating yourself to a moment of refreshment at Butega Romagnola was the perfect choice.
Recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious piadina in a simple, authentic, and welcoming atmosphere.
