I paid for two people with my debit card and didn't even provide a receipt. 26/12/2025: I've been to Salotto di Mirandola and have rarely had such a disappointing experience. The main problem is undoubtedly the service, which borders on embarrassing. The waiters are aloof, cold, and impolite, responding curtly, almost annoyed by the mere presence of customers. No care, no attention, no professionalism. You feel more tolerated than welcomed. The impression is that the customer is not the focus, but rather a nuisance to be quickly dealt with. An approach that completely deprives any idea of ​​hospitality of meaning. In a venue open to the public, politeness is not optional. When it's lacking, everything else inevitably fades into the background. A decidedly negative experience, one that doesn't even begin to encourage you to return.

But my graduation cake was definitely NOT up to par: it was beautiful on the outside, for goodness sake, but the base was 3/4 POLYSTYRENE... While there was very little cake, it tasted like nothing. It's a shame because it looked nice, but FOR 120 EUROS, NO: I basically paid for just styrofoam. The slices of cake (since there wasn't much) were very thin and embarrassing. And no: not all pastry shops make beautiful cakes on the outside with such a thick styrofoam base (which is how they tried to justify themselves). So, to make it so expensive, everything was rightly weighed, but the WEIGHT was all styrofoam for the base. I'm really disappointed because I always get gelato here and had high expectations.
