20/12/2025: One of Carpi's top restaurants, perhaps with a slightly frenetic and hasty service. I find the third waiter in three minutes asking if you'd like anything else while you're finishing your second course a bit annoying and likely to turn an excellent dining experience into a terrible one.

09/11/2025: Discovered by chance, they seated us for lunch even though it was almost closing time, with our dog in tow, so definitely a plus for the hospitality and helpfulness. The place is very nicely presented, with a quiet and discreetly elegant atmosphere. The appetizer was gnocco, with a small flaw: the fried gnocco was slightly greasy, but that may have been because it was made just for us on the spot. The quality of the dough was nothing to complain about, very light and tasty, so I don't consider it to have influenced the overall rating of the food; moreover, the accompanying prosciutto was of remarkable quality. The first courses were truly exceptional: very flavorful cappelletti in broth, presented in a cup, and lasagna with fresh pasta was truly delicious and well-balanced. The portions are generous. The prices are absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely return.

02/11/2025: The pumpkin tortelli were excellent. The porcini mushroom caps were a bit dry and could have been seasoned better. Lunch was somewhat disrupted by the couple at the next table who got into a heated argument. The waiters' service was quick and friendly.

02/12/2025: If you're in Carpi and want to eat somewhere truly beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere, authentic traditional flavors, perfectly grilled meat, and impeccable service... you absolutely have to come here! We've been in Carpi for years, but yesterday we asked ourselves: "Why the hell didn't we come here sooner?!" As soon as you arrive, even outside the door, that incredible aroma of grilled meat hits you, making your mouth water instantly. The entire staff is smiling and kind; you can tell they love what they do and they make you feel right at home. It's a family business, and you can feel it: there's a warmth and sincerity that immediately envelops you. 01/11/2025: We had a great time, the service was fresh, young, attentive and friendly... the raw materials were delicious and treated with care, excellent value for money, and for me, seeing such young, willing, professional and smiling guys made us relax and enjoy a beautiful anniversary dinner.

01/11/2025: We went to Romanzo and absolutely loved everything! The restaurant is elegant yet welcoming, with young, friendly staff and attentive service. The dishes are beautifully presented and full of flavor—the fried zucchini flowers, polenta sticks, and macaroni al pettine are all excellent. The grilled meats are excellent, and the desserts are fantastic (the tiramisu is highly recommended). You can taste the passion in the kitchen, and the atmosphere is relaxed. One of the best restaurants we've tried in Carpi!

12/01/2026: I ordered two marinaras and a Margherita with fries, and the gentleman with the Sicilian hat wanted to charge me €21, issuing a receipt for two Margheritas and the other pizza. I asked why I ordered Margherita and not Rossa, and was told I should have ordered streaky with tomato sauce to pay less... a clear joke, and it was clear he wanted to charge me more. In fact, after I reported it, he stammered and changed the receipt... so always check the bill carefully, because honesty is unfortunately not always a given, even if they won't see me again, given the unsympathetic and unprofessional attitude he spoke to me, in addition to ripping me off.

11/01/2026: I often go to Pizzikotto in Carpi. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and kind. Excellent food, very good and easy-to-digest pizza.
