Very, very good, the food is excellent, the location is charming, the service is courteous and professional.

10/09/2025: Stunning view... exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and kindness from the table staff... rustic mountain setting, partly run-down with various signs of rust... chandeliers partly in disrepair... which, if cared for, could add value to the whole thing. Welcoming rooms for the newlyweds... except for a few typical country bugs that inevitably pop up here and there...
The food served was, I think, the worst I've ever tasted. Good cured meats...
Intolerances were certainly handled with the best intentions, but the outcome was truly poor. The dishes were presented at a basic level, not wedding-quality, resulting in a need to use the toilet during the evening and still today, two days later.
The lady managing the dining room definitely needs to reconsider her customer service approach... we felt like we were being criticized for being put in a difficult position by our intolerances... but a chef does this for a living, and I can't believe they weren't able to prepare something presentable so far in advance... a first course with reheated zucchini certainly isn't wedding-worthy... a fillet without a cream or accompaniment to soften it or complement it... a tasty tartlet, but served as a single portion at a wedding, no way... it looked like leftover panettone garnished with cream. Not even a decoration on top, so you could see the sliced panettone.
I absolutely wouldn't go back, and the price paid, in my opinion, doesn't reflect the quality offered.

30/08/2025: Excellent pizza, and they also have a small selection of good whiskeys. Outdoor seating is also available. I had a great time.

30/08/2025: Nice place, but noisy despite the lack of music. The lack of staff in the dining room, a waiter bringing more than two or three pizzas at a time, and an unhelpful cashier who also works as a waitress are unacceptable. Charging €2 for radicchio doesn't match the menu.

08/07/2025: My favorite restaurant for truffles and mushrooms.
This time, too, I was not disappointed at lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday.
Mixed crostini for one with plenty of truffles and porcini mushrooms.
Next came the delicious tagliatelle covered in truffles.
Then the fried egg with lots of truffles and a side of fried porcini mushrooms.
Too full for dessert, we splurged on a generous helping of truffles.

27/09/2025: Excellent location with convenient adjacent parking. The owners are very friendly and the place is cute. Wide selection of piadinas and cassoni. Personally, I enjoyed the above, but I can't give the red cassone I ordered a passing grade because it was too full of tomato sauce and the mozzarella hadn't melted because the cassone hadn't been cooked enough. But maybe they're usually excellent. In any case, the cassone looked remarkable because it was overstuffed with sauce. I'll try again as soon as I get to Meldola, and I'm sure it will be better.
22/07/2025: The piada was very good, made with tender and well-cooked dough, rated top notch. The filling, for small things, could have been better. The service needs to improve. We went at a time when there weren't many people, and despite the fact that they had the opportunity to clean outside, I didn't see the staff come out. I don't want to be wrong, but sometimes a little forethought is enough to improve and offer good service. Take this as a suggestion 🙏

17/09/2025: Snack/Aperitif with four glasses of white wine. €32 (€8 vouchers per glass) + chips + peanuts + samples of sandwiches and tramezzini (good ones).
No wine list, no chalkboard, no hieroglyphics to indicate a price.
The wine was changed after the second glass due to the lack of another bottle in the cooler.
Bad, bad, both for Ultimo and for the poor mistreated Vino.

03/10/2025: A splendid place nestled in the hills, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner in peace and quiet, without the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The quality of the products is excellent and refined. A small constructive criticism: the zuppa inglese is small for the price.
03/09/2025: Couple's dinner. The terrace was beautiful. The platter was good, nothing special. The charcuterie wasn't up to par for the price, it was poor. The wine was a sore point; it arrived with an already opened bottle. The wine was terrible, it stank. We called the waitress, who brought us another and opened it at the table, then rudely told us that if we didn't like that one either, we'd have to pay for both because they thought it was good! What can I say...
