10/09/2025: Stunning view... exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and kindness from the table staff... rustic mountain setting, partly run-down with various signs of rust... chandeliers partly in disrepair... which, if cared for, could add value to the whole thing. Welcoming rooms for the newlyweds... except for a few typical country bugs that inevitably pop up here and there...
The food served was, I think, the worst I've ever tasted. Good cured meats...
Intolerances were certainly handled with the best intentions, but the outcome was truly poor. The dishes were presented at a basic level, not wedding-quality, resulting in a need to use the toilet during the evening and still today, two days later.
The lady managing the dining room definitely needs to reconsider her customer service approach... we felt like we were being criticized for being put in a difficult position by our intolerances... but a chef does this for a living, and I can't believe they weren't able to prepare something presentable so far in advance... a first course with reheated zucchini certainly isn't wedding-worthy... a fillet without a cream or accompaniment to soften it or complement it... a tasty tartlet, but served as a single portion at a wedding, no way... it looked like leftover panettone garnished with cream. Not even a decoration on top, so you could see the sliced panettone.
I absolutely wouldn't go back, and the price paid, in my opinion, doesn't reflect the quality offered.

The desserts are also excellent.

09/11/2025: I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, given the reviews... and the difficulty finding a table on a Sunday lunch.
Attracted by the set truffle menus, €75 for the black one and €95 for the white one, we opted for the latter.
We ate a lot, but the quality, service, and ambiance were far from what we expected.
The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were good, and the wine was a fair markup.

23/11/2025: I hate to write a negative review because I think Mangianotte is a restaurant with good food and friendly staff, but this is the third time I've ordered a beer with my pizza.
The beer menu costs €5, and the bill promptly comes to €7. I honestly feel "ripped off." It's not the €2 difference, but the restaurant owner's honesty! Apparently, they don't update the menu...!
17/11/2025: Right in the center of the village of Meldola, this restaurant has a charming appearance. Housed in an old building with an arched brick ceiling, the location is truly inviting. The pizza and spaghetti are excellent, with a wide variety of sauces on offer. Very reasonable prices. Worth a try.

27/09/2025: Excellent location with convenient adjacent parking. The owners are very friendly and the place is cute. Wide selection of piadinas and cassoni. Personally, I enjoyed the above, but I can't give the red cassone I ordered a passing grade because it was too full of tomato sauce and the mozzarella hadn't melted because the cassone hadn't been cooked enough. But maybe they're usually excellent. In any case, the cassone looked remarkable because it was overstuffed with sauce. I'll try again as soon as I get to Meldola, and I'm sure it will be better.

03/10/2025: A splendid place nestled in the hills, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner in peace and quiet, without the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The quality of the products is excellent and refined. A small constructive criticism: the zuppa inglese is small for the price.
03/09/2025: Couple's dinner. The terrace was beautiful. The platter was good, nothing special. The charcuterie wasn't up to par for the price, it was poor. The wine was a sore point; it arrived with an already opened bottle. The wine was terrible, it stank. We called the waitress, who brought us another and opened it at the table, then rudely told us that if we didn't like that one either, we'd have to pay for both because they thought it was good! What can I say...
