19/03/2025: Pdg was one of the best pastry shops in a hundred, ever since I was little. As the years have gone by though, I have to admit that the quality of the food has deteriorated.
The service is good, the guys polite and nice. The bar has expanded with another external dehor, a must, to dispose of the people having breakfast.
We are not available for sweets and croissants:
The flaky croissants are greasy on the palate and not very honeycombed, the jam (I took a berry croissant) is too sweet and not of the best quality.
My mother bought a savory croissant with ancient grains, which was also greasy and not very honeycombed and for the price it has, it must have at least a bit of technical quality, in addition to charging for the different and higher quality for a refined flour.
I tried several times to have breakfast or take trays of pastries, but the result was always the same: too sweet, almost nauseating.
Mine is a constructive criticism, not to give bad publicity but to get the pastry shop back to having an adequate quality for the price.

The pastry counter is wonderful. Excellent quality breakfast coffee and croissants.
I have known this pastry shop for more than 20 years and when I am in the Cento area it is a regular stop, especially for the pastries, quality and freshness that are not easily found both in Italy and abroad.
The owner is always cheerful and kind.
The staff really works very hard, well done!

The location is very nice, certainly in summer it makes it much more.
16/02/2025: We have been several times, both for ceremonies and for dinners or lunches with friends. Excellent and plentiful cuisine, excellent wine list, kind and quick. We have a small child and we can say that it is excellent and welcoming even for families. I suggest you let yourself be amazed with both traditional and suggested proposals for special occasions or off-menu.

19/07/2024: I like everything about this place, the service, the food and the location. Simple and quiet atmosphere, very kind waitresses and excellent food. It is not very popular and never crowded because there are other more popular restaurants but for me the quality of the food here is much better.

08/07/2024: Andato con amici dopo il loro trasferimento da Cento a Gavaseto, in gioventù ci andavamo almeno una volta a settimana. Curiosi di sentire i sapori di una volta, siamo stati piacevolmente colpiti.
Il menù è migliorato, mentre i grandi classici, sono sempre una garanzia.
Consigliatissime Tartar, carpaccio e Tiger roll

13/01/2025: Characteristic environment with a convivial, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Clean. Good food, oriental cuisine (fortunately Chinese and not Japanese). Waiters not hassling but quickly available upon request. Located within the historic center.
27/12/2024: Sono anni che andiamo in questo ristorante, sempre mangiato bene ma questa volta un vero schifo. Servizio inesistente , arrivavano 2 piatti alla volta ed eravamo in 5 , piatti freddi , gamberi fritti pieni di olio che colava , tutto unto e mal cotto . Addirittura gelato fritto "sgonfio" perché in pratica il gelato era una pappetta e nemmeno si capiva da cosa fosse composta. Clienti persi di sicuro. Conto salato .

22/01/2025: Was last night for Bologna Borussia Dortmund I go in I take a bitter from the boss €3.50, I come back in the second half I take the same bitter in the same glass €5.
Never again in a. Bar like this also because the bartender took 30 minutes before serving it because she was talking to a customer about the match, prices not displayed I invent gold at the moment the spritz diluted with sparkling water and not to mention the hygiene of the place .
Never again in a restaurant like this.
Calling it a restaurant is an insult to businesses that work honestly and well.

15/03/2025: We asked for some ginger, before but also after... They didn't bring us anything... the second time we were told that they put everything away so they can't take us... but how do you do it????
12/03/2025: We have been regular customers for more than a year, we always go there for the excellent food, unfortunately in the last month someone has made some mistakes, there are always 3 of us (with a 6 year old child) who eats his usual ravioli and that's it, sometimes on the bill we find the children's menu set at €26.90 for 9 ravioli and other times at 13 euros, we never know how much we spend and after asking a waiter while he was giving us the bill he replies that it was based on the height of the child, As good as the food may be, "driving away" customers who have been coming every week for a year makes me feel a little bad.
