20/12/2025: Room quality is poor and outdated. The shorter/bald manager (Massimo?) was quite rude and unprofessional. I am from the US on a business trip, and when we didn’t quite understand each other (I asked not to be seated next to the kitchen door where they were banging dishes around during the main dinner service (which is unprofessional in the first place considering the dining room has 22 of 25 tables open), in the dining room with other people he raised his voice and exclaims with his hand “DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?!” And made a scene in front of everyone. Obviously I speak English, it was intended to be a mean spirited insult from a childish and small man, and was quite unnecessary and lacking of professionalism. The table they insisted I then sit at afterword was dirty (with plenty of unused, clean tables around, purely out of their own laziness), and the waiter brought me the wrong food after I specifically asked for the dish I saw someone else eating, which looked good, so I particularly asked for. I was too tired from travel and this childish behavior to insist on the correct order. The food wasn’t terrible, but every other meal I have had in Italy was far better. On another occasion I simply asked for “an extra pillow,” from the same guy, Massimo, since he was at the front desk, and you would think I was asking him to conduct rocket science by the ego and unsettling energy he brought to the encounter. Staring at me with crazy intense eyes like a depraved, unnecessarily upset man. I don’t know how this place calls itself “4 stars,” when it is this outdated, inhospitable, and unkind in service, but I certainly will never stay here again. It isn’t difficult to be hospitable, it just takes intent, but if you have an immature and mean spirited attitude, then you shouldn’t be in this line of work (and perhaps need to see a therapist). This was a very poor stay for the money they charge compared with anywhere else in Europe I have been. In the 70+ nights I have stayed in a hotel in Europe, I have never encountered someone who acted so unprofessional and made my stay uncomfortable like this rude little man did. Nor have I ever had the desire to leave one single “negative,” review - until this one. The two older gentleman working the kitchen/dining room, and lady at the desk were kind and professional however, as the only saving grace, but Massimo is a clown for the way he behaved. Plenty of nicer and kinder places, (without tiny, old, uncomfortable beds) to spend your money.

30/11/2025: The staff were friendly and helpful with any needs. The rooms were always tidy and clean. The breakfast was well-organized and plentiful. I should add that I enjoyed dinner very much, both in terms of the service and the food.

21/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant just outside San Giovanni in Persiceto by chance. Quality food, excellent value, and very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend it.

22/11/2025: Excellent value for money. If you're looking for substance, that is, traditional dishes prepared almost like family, and an informal atmosphere, like a family restaurant or a shack with friends.

23/11/2025: Decent pizza. Dirty place. Bust of the Duce displayed at the cash register. More than enough to never return.

07/11/2025: I've known this place for many years. They serve excellent pizzas and traditional, home-cooked food. Their strong point is undoubtedly the prices, which are incredibly fair, something unique and rare these days. Well done!

15/08/2025: Il posto ideale per osservare lo struscio lungo la pedonale Corso del Popolo, sorseggiando un caffè o una bevanda fresca (noi abbiamo provato gli ottimi frullati energetici). C'è un'ampia sala interna ma quando la bella stagione lo permette, l'ideale è accomodarsi a uno dei tavoli posizionati direttamente sulla strada. La peculiarità di questo locale è quella di offrire, accanto alle bevande tradizionali, altre specialità che i clienti possono scegliere leggendo direttamente la lista accanto alle porte del locale. Un modo pratico per evitare menù ai tavoli e far conoscere le specialità della casa.

06/05/2025: The food, service, and atmosphere were impeccable!!! Too bad... It's closed permanently... 😢 But one thing is for sure: the food was excellent!

16/06/2025: The pizza is definitely good, I'll tell you tomorrow morning, but they also sell wine, four 0.75 bottles, so a total of 3 liters. The price displayed is 2.30 per liter, and the price paid is 3.06 per liter because they take longer to pour it (that's how they justified themselves), but it's not written anywhere. Good luck, goodbye.

16/11/2025: Aside from the cold, unheated restaurant, we had to wait an hour and a half for a pizza that never arrived because we decided to cancel, leaving someone with intestinal problems starving. He wouldn't have been able to dine at 9:30 PM because they still had to put it in the oven. I had also booked three nights earlier for 8:00 PM, precisely to avoid waiting too long. When we got to the cash register, we asked for two separate bills, but they rudely told us that it wasn't possible because they usually only give one receipt. This would have been nothing if, when splitting the accounts, they had accepted payments from both parties. Unfortunately, they asked for a single payment because they said they couldn't give two change points (of a few cents). I'm really disappointed because I used to go to this place until three years ago and always had a great time. So I was shocked and will never return.

15/11/2025: An hour and a half for a takeout pizza? If you're having trouble, don't even take orders. You can't keep someone there for an hour and a half. Absurd.

19/01/2026: I got pizzas delivered to my door. The guy was very kind and friendly, and the pizza was hot and delicious, cooked well, not raw or burned like I've read in many reviews. Was I lucky? I don't think so; they did a great job and the products were good. Congratulations!

11/11/2025: This is the grilled vegetable piadina!!! I'd say the photo speaks for itself. I'd rather keep quiet. I'm giving it one star because it's the only thing that can be given less.
