24/05/2025: A place near the center of San Giovanni, from the outside it actually looks like a workshop, but as soon as you enter it's a spectacle, a well-kept environment that encourages you to eat as there are windows for retail sales like a rotisserie, quick service (perhaps too much 😁😁😁 the cheese tray disappeared before I could use it) very good dishes, ok price, we will definitely be back to try their other specialties

08/06/2025: In the heart of Persicetano you will find this place to have good aperitifs and spend a nice evening. We had a classic spritz aperitif, with their platter to accompany it. Average quality and fair prices. Very kind staff. If we return to the area, we will definitely return to visit them.

26/05/2025: We are sorry to have to give a half negative review given the many positive ones. We wanted to try this place given the good reviews and having the place close to home. Unfortunately we had ordered pork skewers and they arrived literally raw and cold (from the fridge), only the external part in contact with the heat was cooked.. same thing for the cotoletta alla bolognese, (assuming that for the price it could have been seasoned a little more), half of it was also completely raw (and since this is also white meat it is not very healthy..), and it was not only the part near the bone, but by then it was gone and it was fine like that, too bad because the cooked part was also good.. we are very sorry for this experience because the pinsa in the end was good and since it was the first time we tried the place we were sorry for the meat factor..however kind staff who understood and apologized to us without getting angry. For the pinsa I recommend, for the meat factor I think much less.. I hope that the others have more luck :(

18/05/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff was friendly, helpful and smiling. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious, prepared with care. The service was fast, attentive and we felt really welcomed. I highly recommend this place both for the excellent quality of the food and for the kindness and professionalism of the staff. I will definitely be back!

15/05/2025: The osteria offers a truly delicious handmade pasta, probably one of the best I have tasted. The ingredients are very fresh and you can feel all the care in the preparation. The environment is also very well-kept and with a particular style that makes the stay pleasant. The service is good, but nothing exceptional - certainly not up to the prices, which are the real sore point: pasta dishes at €30 are difficult to justify, especially considering that we are not in a starred restaurant. (Wine arrived after the food 🫠) In summary: high quality, but questionable quality/price ratio. I recommend trying it at least once, but personally I would not return.

18/05/2025: If there was a sixth star I would give it. Recommended by our b&b, we couldn't have ended up better, the environment, the friendly staff, the traditional food. A place that has existed since 1924 and where time seems to have stopped. The furnishings are reminiscent of a time that no longer exists. I opted for an appetizer with local pancetta and then tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù and mascarpone for dessert. My partner chose courgette and provola roll, tortellini with parmesan cream. It was all very good. We also took away a Senator's bitter as a souvenir. Thanks for the experience

26/04/2025: Beautiful restaurant offering numerous typical dishes of Bolognese cuisine. The crescentine and tigelle are really delicious! Generous portions. Excellent quality also for fried side dishes (such as chips and croquettes). The desserts (like the chocolate salami) are also really super. Very friendly staff and super fast service. Excellent value for money! I will definitely be back! Super!!

18/05/2025: Known and frequented for years... Maybe out of fashion....but.. for me it is always pleasant to taste their dishes. So much courtesy and availability.

15/02/2025: Back to the origins. For the second time in the space of a month, after years of not going there, we returned for dinner. All very good and genuine. The ravioli are very good, among the best in the area, seasoned with homemade sauces. The ginger chicken is special. The fried ice cream is also good. Historic family-run restaurant with very friendly staff. Prices are VERY affordable: often less than 20 euros each. After problematic years, the place has totally recovered and only undeservedly still has a bad reputation. Don't be afraid... go there! It's back to the levels it had in the '90s.
