19/01/2025: We always went to Piccolo for lunch and the environment was beautiful, bright and friendly! Today we returned with my son, wife and nephew after a few years of absence. When we arrived around 1pm, if I didn't say hello... the waitresses who were talking in a group... one got wild!! After ordering we waited three quarters of an hour before 2 slices arrived and another 20 minutes for the 3 first courses!!! I opened a bag of breadsticks.... old enough to leave a bitter taste! I opened some another... the same! For the other 2 cut ???? Around 2.40pm I asked a waitress the reason for this delay and if anything had changed in the management... the answer: in the room they had booked for 25 and 4 were added! Does a restaurant stop for 4 more diners? Then finally arrive the 2 slices with grilled vegetables but so grilled and dry that THEY CAN'T EVEN BE EATED BY A PIG!!! DISGUSTING and for four pieces 5 euros!! In summary: 3 first courses 4 slices 3 vegetable crumbs 1 bulk white wine 2 waters = €136.00 At the time of payment not even an apology for the inconvenience caused!! The greeting and a smile not even with binoculars!!! But where has the nice and jovial staff of the past gone? Now Dal Piccolo is a bunch of rude, obnoxious people!! I'm sorry because I always came back very willingly!

It's the first time I've tried it, since I recently moved, and following the advice of my neighbors I would say that I found the best pizzeria in San Giovanni. Most of the pizzerias in the area, I noticed, make flat and stretched pizza, practically a piadina. But if you want real PIZZA, for me this is the right pizzeria. I am pleased to leave this review: kindness from everyone, very good pizza, but prices slightly higher than average. Honestly, it's worth it; I'll eat it one less time, but at least I eat it good. If I can give some advice, it would be good to add the stamps, so as to get a discount or a free drink for every so many stamps (pizzas taken). We will see each other soon! 👋🏻

22/01/2025: Dopo aver prenotato, e avere comunque atteso mezz’ora per essere invitati ad accomodarci, ci viene comunicato che avendo con noi il nostro cane maltese di 1,5kg, che sta comodamente in una borsa e non disturba NESSUNO, dobbiamo lasciare il locale, in quanto al nostro cucciolo non è consentito l’ingresso. Nel 2025 reputo questo atteggiamento vergognoso, e invito tutti coloro che amano gli animali a stare alla larga da posti come questo!

19/01/2025: mi spiace, ma che delusione, questa viene chiamata pizza ma NO, è semplicemente un gnocchino secco con pomodoro e mozzarella, che già a metà è diventato tutto freddo, comunque a molti piace così visto l'affluenza, ognuno ha la sua preferenza sulla pizza a me piace con il cornicione ma che sia digeribile, poi il locale sembra una sala mensa dover non si riesce neppure a parlare con gli amici dal rimbombo delle voci....boooh

Remember that if you have booked online and want to cancel your table, you can only do so up to 6 hours in advance. Otherwise they will make you pay a penalty of €75 per person!!!!
