Honestly, from the reviews we expected much more; the Gnocchi with chestnuts, mushrooms and bacon are good but after a few forkfuls you can't finish them unless you are a chestnut lover. The meat of the Bolognese cutlet is a little stringy and tasteless, and I haven't tried anything better. To finish, the tiramisu was also unfortunately a little tasteless, it must have been a coincidence for the dishes but in any case the cold cuts platter was really excellent. The friendly and helpful staff, as well as the honest and online bill.

09/02/2025: I have been going to this restaurant for a long time with my family and I have always had a really good time. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. The pizza is very thin, large and well seasoned, but other doughs are also available. The environment is spacious and the tables are large, especially if you are sharing meals with many diners. In addition to pizza, I recommend the fried gnocco (i.e. crescentine) and the tigelle, the fried potatoes, the meat dishes and the first courses, which are always good. The desserts are also worth it and are plentiful. During the week, excellent lunch menus are available for those who work. I've never tried fish, but I've always seen tempting dishes come out of the kitchen. :) Prices are in line with those of other restaurants that offer pizza and traditional Emilian foods. At Graffio I feel at home and always come back willingly. The center of San Giovanni in Persiceto is not far away, but it is more convenient to reach it by car.

15/02/2025: Back to the origins. For the second time in the space of a month, after years of not going there, we returned for dinner. All very good and genuine. The ravioli are very good, among the best in the area, seasoned with homemade sauces. The ginger chicken is special. The fried ice cream is also good. Historic family-run restaurant with very friendly staff. Prices are VERY affordable: often less than 20 euros each. After problematic years, the place has totally recovered and only undeservedly still has a bad reputation. Don't be afraid... go there! It's back to the levels it had in the '90s.

14/02/2025: A surprising return to the origins for this historic restaurant in San Giovanni. Truly tasty and genuine food, in particular I really appreciated the steamed ravioli, among the best around, complete with homemade sauces, not to mention the very delicate ginger chicken; of the shao-mai you can taste different yet blended flavors: usually I don't like them too much, but I really liked these! I didn't remember that fried ice cream was so delicious. The staff is very friendly and the price is really affordable! Highly recommended!
