03/02/2025: Here we are in Monte San Pietro, just outside Bologna and not far from the airport, just at the beginning of the Bolognese Apennines! This tavern is very well kept, with a traditional and very pleasant environment, with refined dishes that allow you to perceive the flavor of each ingredient! I chose the tortelli stuffed with porcini mushrooms with pecorino cheese and salty zabaglione! Wonderful! Even the venison steak with caramelized onions and blackberries! Very delicate! Fast and precise service, the young waitress is very kind and super cute! You can park comfortably in front of the restaurant or immediately next to it! If you want to eat well and relax it's an ideal place! The quality offered is high and the prices are absolutely normal! We will be back soon because we had a good time!

02/02/2025: Location immersed in the tranquility of nature, very pleasant. The place doesn't have many seats but I imagine to keep the quality of service high. Menu with innovative and inviting proposals, from appetizers to first and second courses. Definitely good. Hospitable and professional service. The only negative note was the wait for the dishes, but forgotten by how good the dishes were. Account in line with the offer. It's worth making the trek to go here. Advised!

19/01/2025: First time, excellent impression, I found quality and courtesy out of the ordinary; exquisite food, not banal and with particular attention to food intolerances, I felt pampered by a very attentive service and, the icing on the cake, the environment is very nice. At the end of the meal I never wanted to leave.

20/12/2024: Eravamo in sei. Il posto è davvero molto carino, con una bella atmosfera. Il personale è molto gentile ed attento. Purtroppo e mi dispiace, la cucina non mi ha soddisfatto. I piatti sono molto ben presentati ma forse le mie scelte sono state sfortunate. Tortellini in crema di parmigiano come antipasto, molto secchi e con un ripieno privo di sapore. L'hamburger di carne con le patatine (queste buone) era abbondante come porzione, la carne era anche cotta bene, ma il pane era "pesante"e nell'insieme nulla di speciale. Abbiamo però bevuto un buon Pinot nero delle cantine della zona. Non abbiamo speso poco, ma forse in compagnia ci si è fatti prendere un po' la mano con il bere, per cui alla fine il prezzo a testa è salito.

24/10/2024: On Saturday 19 October I had dinner in this splendid restaurant together with my friends, immersed in the green hills of San Lorenzo. The venue is charming, surrounded by nature, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing evening. The food? Simply exquisite, with carefully prepared and high quality dishes. But what makes this place truly unique are the owners: very kind, helpful and extraordinarily humane people. The evening, however, took an unexpected turn. Just as we were at the restaurant, Bologna and its province were hit by a violent flood. A nearby hill collapsed, blocking access to the road and leaving us, a group of 13 people, along with other customers, unable to return home. A situation that could have turned into a nightmare, but instead, thanks to the generosity of the owner and his staff, became a positive memory. Not only did they provide us with blankets, pillows and mattresses for the night, but they let us sit upstairs, where the heated floor allowed us to rest in total comfort. The next morning, a surprise awaited us: a table laden with pastries and cakes for a breakfast fit for a king, all offered as part of the dinner! Despite the difficulties, we feel lucky to have had this experience in such a welcoming place, where the hospitality exceeded all expectations. We sincerely thank the owner and all his staff for their incredible kindness and thoughtfulness. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, a dream location and, why not, a memorable overnight stay! ;)

01/10/2024: I was there for my niece’s confirmation lunch and can’t wait to be back Their home made lasagne and dumplings are way above average and the dry sparkling white begs to be bought in barrels, albeit at a very decent price Hats down Maybe their only point of improvement could possibly be found in the speed of service but who cares with a challenging table of twenty on a relaxed Sunday

26/12/2024: Now a fixed stop. A place out of time, where beauty, goodness, authenticity, courtesy and love for things reign supreme. For us it is THE TRATTORIA OF THE HEART. Everything perfect, from the cellar to the menu, no excess, but lots of quality. It's also easy to talk to the people at the other tables in a bucolic atmosphere full of "mountain" and sincere identity. It's not a restaurant, it's an experience that's good for the heart. ♥️

26/12/2024: I was here for the company lunch, and it was truly a great choice. Everything really 🔝. Appetizer with fried polenta, stracchino and stewed mushrooms (space). Trio of first courses with tagliatelle with meat sauce, farfalle with mushroom ragout and tortellini with a truly excellent red sauce (obligatory slip). Followed by fried crescentine and tigelle with cured meats and cheeses. They also brought us the stew (good). Crazy mix of desserts. I will definitely go back.

08/12/2024: 5 stars for this amazing place ! The food is very good and the service even better. We were very late for our reservation due to weather and road issues , but the owner and the team waited for us and were very kind and patient even though it was nearly their closing time, allowing us to relax and take our time. The antipasti and dolci Buffett have great options and the mains are amazing; the ragu is made per tradition and definitely an highlight. I am coeliac and they were super attentive and had a whole separate menu for gluten free options - no issues with cross contamination either; they also cather for vegan and vegetarians Wine and liquor selection was also great. Prices are very reasonable and the whole place has a very homey and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back

09/01/2025: We had lunch at Gilberto's for my mother's birthday, with a large table of 35 guests! The organization was perfect, with the owner and the head chef who were really helpful and kind. They also allowed us to use a room for post-lunch activities, really appreciated! The space is very large, with high ceilings, masonry walls and wood paneling, and a pleasant atmosphere for both large groups and couples. There are two convenient parking areas just outside the restaurant. But let's get to the food, which turned out to be truly impressive! Classic appetizers with some cured meats and good, slightly greasy crescentine, followed by an encore of first courses: nests all'Oriana (an original recipe, only to order) and green tortelloni with butter and sage, both truly delicious and with enormous portions! The second courses were no different, with veal with mushrooms among the best I've ever eaten 😍 and braised meat in red wine which was also good albeit with some ribs, all accompanied by various side dishes. Finally, for dessert we had a surprise omelette (another original recipe only to order), made with a delicious cream ice cream interior and a warm meringue topping. All accompanied by water and various bottles of good white and red wine. The service was kind and unobtrusive and as already mentioned the portions were enormous, so much so that with the leftovers we ate as a family for another 4 days. In total we spent €60 per person, an absolutely correct price considering the quantity, quality and variety of food, as well as the organisation. Overall it was a great party and we had a really good time! Without a doubt we will return to Gilberto for some other lunch or dinner! 🌟

30/01/2025: Senza infamia e senza lode..il cibo non è male,il servizio classico cinese ( pochi fronzoli e via andare ) e il prezzo in linea con la maggior parte dei ristoranti cino-giapponesi..quello che non capisco sono i 7 clienti alle 20 di venerdì.
