14/11/2025: The tortelli are fantastic.... honestly, I've never tasted such a balanced yet tasty dish..... then the tigelle and crescentina with cured meats and cheese..... delicious.... book because it's always full..... the prices aren't cheap but I was happy to pay.... 😉

04/11/2025: Wonderful location, clean, fantastic staff, kind, attentive to the customer's needs, cuisine that is nothing short of amazing, ranging from traditional dishes to the most sophisticated ones with top-quality ingredients and you can taste it as soon as you taste the first bite, the quality of the food is evident, with truly excellent pairings, extensive and quality wine list. Simply put, 5 stars are not enough, the food and drink are divine! We will definitely be back, this for us is the true concept of quality dining.

12/10/2025: Found by chance, a real surprise. Elegant but not pretentious, thoughtfully decorated, clean. Very friendly staff; we had a bit of a wait, but it was worth it: one of the best places we've ever eaten. The menu offers a limited selection, with exceptional ingredients and fantastic quality. They welcomed us with our child and dog without batting an eyelid. The outdoor garden is very pleasant. The price is in line with the offerings. Highly recommended.

07/08/2025: From personal experience, having tried them all over Italy, I can say that the sushi is excellent. It's a shame about the three-portion limit for sashimi, but never mind, the sashimi was excellent too. It almost felt like I was at an à la carte restaurant. I recommend it!

24/08/2025: In a very pleasant setting, both for the uniqueness of the location and the perfect temperature, we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, which revisited traditional Bolognese cuisine. The pasta stuffed with friggione, the meatballs filled with tortellini, and, to finish, Malvasia accompanied by ciambella, ravioli, and crostata. Highly recommended.

20/09/2025: Suspended in the past, there are still very few trattorias in the hills of the Bolognese Apennines, the certainty of flavors that have remained the same for decades. Mattarozzi is anything but a modern and trendy place; once you sit down, you'll understand the difference from the many places that have sprung up to mimic the trattorias and osterias of the past. Here, you'll still find the simple, delicious dishes that the Bolognese ate in the past.

14/10/2025: I've been there several times for lunch. It's a great place with games for kids, excellent appetizers, crescentine, and tigelle! Good wine from their cellar at reasonable prices.

15/08/2025: I found this agriturismo after a long search for August 15th (when they were all fully booked!) A place nestled among the Bolognese badlands with a breathtaking view... the food was all excellent, yet simple and homemade... their wine was delicious... I will definitely be back. 10/11/2025: Absolute gem of a local restaurant. The best antipasti buffet I've had in the region (also great for vegetarians) and some simple, well priced pastas. Excellent hospitality even though they spoke limited English, and one of the best meals of it our trip. Really very reasonably priced too. I'm still dreaming of the antipasti buffet.

12/05/2025: Scoperto per caso online, siamo stati lì per pranzare un paio di volte e non potevamo non tornare per una occasione come la prima comunione di nostra figlia. Professionalità e cortesia la fanno da padrona, ma la vera sorpresa è la qualità del cibo e l’ambiente familiare che ci ritrovi. Cristina è una padrona di casa eccellente e disponibile così come tutto lo staff sempre attento alle esigenze dei commensali . Di sicuro ci torneremo con grande voglia perché ogni pranzo al guardastelle diventa sempre una occasione speciale.

03/05/2025: Buona accoglienza e personale attento si mangia bene e il servizio è veloce locale su 2 livelli il 2 livello con una bella vetrata che offre una bella vista!! fornito di parcheggio l'unica difficoltà è la strada per arrivare che è un po tortuosa e stretta quindi in caso si incroci un auto esempio suv si fa fatica a passare entrambi quindi consiglio di andare piano!!
