15/06/2025: Very welcoming agriturismo, with well-kept rooms and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was kind and professional, helping to make the experience truly pleasant. Among the menu options, I highly recommend the fried tortellini. The first courses, however, did not particularly impress me. A curious detail was the Bolognese cutlet prepared with pork, an unusual choice compared to the traditional version. At the end of the meal we were kindly offered coffee and amaro, probably also because we had ordered an appetizer, first course and second course. Overall, a place recommended above all for the relaxed atmosphere and the quality of the service.

06/05/2025: Set in an enchanting place I have only ever had lunch in this place (several times). Excellent dishes and excellent wine, with a refined quality of local tradition throughout the extensive menu. A delicious mixed appetizer and first courses for every taste, from classic tortelli to condiments with wild herbs (for example thyme). The meats are excellent, ranging from traditional pork and beef to less common categories such as duck and game (pheasant, wild boar). Very appreciable zero kilometer side dishes and very pleasant desserts. The wine they produce is quite good (in particular Barbera for the reds and Pignoletto for the whites). Having tasted different courses on different occasions, I have always found the flavors to be fully satisfying. All at honest prices to complete a picture that places this place as one of the best in the area.

18/03/2025: For some time now I have been booking rooms and dinners in this enchanting farmhouse on the occasion of an annual work commitment. After the chaotic days at the fair, finding yourself in the silence of the Bolognese hills, with the pleasant company of the owner Antonio and his staff is priceless. Comfortable and welcoming rooms that recall the warm homes of grandparents, excellent food, excellent wine: it is always a pleasure to stay here! We are always pampered as if we were at home; kindness and friendliness accompany us throughout our stay and, by purchasing a few good bottles of wine, we take them away in our hearts. 22/06/2025: Best lunch since I moved to Emilia! I went to Trattoria Gilberto in Monte San Pietro and I can say with certainty that it was the best lunch since I moved to Emilia. I started with spectacular tagliatelle al ragù: homemade pasta, rough, tasty, with a rich and perfectly balanced ragù. A dish that tastes like Sunday, home, tradition. Then I enjoyed a wonderful plate of tigelle and crescentine with a generous mix of local cured meats and cheeses. The pickles were delicious, but the real surprise was the pesto from Modena: simply the best I have ever eaten. Fragrant, intense, made with real ingredients and expert hands. The environment is welcoming, simple and authentic, with a view of the hills that completes the experience. The staff is kind, helpful, present at the right time. Honest prices, generous portions, sincere flavors. A place where you eat with taste and return with pleasure. Trattoria Gilberto is a must-see for those who love true Emilian cuisine.

I really liked the style and the slightly country-like furniture, wood and the outside view is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Super menu and the chef available to needs, I always managed to have a lactose-free option, for me who am intolerant. I ate inside, I will definitely return in spring to fully enjoy the outside garden. I will definitely return, highly recommended!

04/05/2025: For years we have been frequenting this historic trattoria in the Bolognese hills, precisely in Monte Pastore. Simple place, friendly service and amazing food, in the best tradition of the area. Personal recommendation: strichetti with white ragù, green tagliatelle and tortelloni. They deserve applause! The crescentine and local cured meats are also excellent. If they are off the menu, take advantage of them: always in line with seasonality, impossible to be disappointed. Correct account. Ideal choice for a trip out of town!
