26/03/2026: We stopped one night while hiking the BoM Art Trail. There's not much to add to the already many positive reviews: a warm welcome, and excellent food (both dinner and the super-abundant breakfast).

19/03/2026: I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The food arrived cold and bland, with portions significantly smaller than the price. The service was slow and disorganized: we waited a long time both to order and to receive our food, and the staff seemed distracted and unfriendly. Furthermore, the atmosphere was noisy, with tables too close together, making it difficult to have a peaceful conversation. There are many better options in the area: I can't recommend this place at this time, and I personally won't be returning.

01/02/2026: I'd been wanting to try this place for a while. I'd seen the ambiance and menu from outside, and it seemed inspiring. However, the reviews were very mixed, and I was hesitant. Then I realized the reviews from last year were excellent, so we went. It was a wonderful experience. The place is warm and welcoming. A classy rustic restaurant. Beautiful. The menu ranges between tradition and quality innovation. Good. The welcome was warm, the service impeccable. The price? Absolutely average. I left wanting to return. The mystery of the reviews? It's been under new management for a year! Beautiful, good... Well done!

24/03/2026: From 12:00 to 13:00, the business lunch menu is €15.00 per person. From 13:00, the à la carte menu is €35.00/€40.00 depending on your choice. Open only at noon and closed on Fridays.

06/04/2026: Wandering on Easter Monday between Monzuno and Loiano, we found ourselves in Monghidoro... lunchtime now... what to do... we ended up at the Trattoria da Carlet, certainly without a reservation. It was immediately a no even though there were only 2 of us. Then they asked us if it was okay to wait until 1:15 pm (it was 12:40). A table for 2 would be available, so we accepted... we had a great time, excellent food and plenty of it, courtesy and kindness of all the staff. We didn't manage to try the desserts because they were too full... What can I say? Thanks, and we hope to return soon, perhaps by booking in advance!

04/04/2026: "Penny wise and pound foolish"—so focused on controlling every tiny detail that they completely miss the fact that they're ruining the very thing they're trying to manage. When an owner is that micromanaging, they usually create a "killer vibe" that no amount of nice decor can fix. It's a shame for those young waiters, too; they're likely doing their best while under a microscope. It's the classic case of an owner who's lost in a glass of water: so focused on controlling every tiny detail that they don't realize they're ruining the very business they're trying to manage. When an owner is that control freak, they create a heavy atmosphere that no decor, no matter how beautiful, can lift. It's also a real shame for those young waiters; they're probably doing their best while constantly feeling under the microscope.
