20/06/2026: Highway blocked? Let's take a break and have dinner while we wait for the traffic to ease... Well, the choice was excellent! When the very kind waiter arrived, he brought us the truffle specialty menu, and we took advantage of it. Cheese and truffle crostini, taiarin with butter, egg yolk and truffle, truffle eggs, and... truffle dessert! Everything was excellent, including the incredible dessert! The wine list is excellent. Good service. Very nice place. I think I'll come back here as soon as I have the chance.

18/06/2026: The outdoor dining area was gorgeous and was a much-needed contrast from the claustrophobia of downtown Bologna. The quality of the food was mostly very good. Of the eight things my wife and I tried, the shrimp salad was the only thing I thought was subpar. Their tortellini in parmigiano reggiano cream and fliordilate Bolognese were the two standouts. Bonus points for an excellently-curated wine list and charging a fair price for their wines. I paid 38 euros for a bottle of a very good Super Tuscan. Overall a very good dining experience.

10/06/2026: A wonderful experience, so close to home. The dishes were rich in flavor, and the menu was thoughtful and creative, and we thoroughly enjoyed them from start to finish. A big round of applause goes to the chef. Highly recommended.

21/07/2026: Found by chance due to a business trip, it was a super pleasant surprise, so much so that we stopped for both lunch and dinner... super varied menu that pleases everyone with excellent quality products... pay attention to the portions which are super generous... the owners and the staff also know how to make diners feel at home... highly recommended

17/07/2026: Our first dinner in Milan couldn't have been better. From the very beginning, the chef took the thoughtful step of personally explaining the menu to us, as we don't speak Italian. Thanks to his patience and recommendations, we were able to choose the perfect dishes, and everything was delicious. He also surprised us with a complimentary salad that was absolutely delicious, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The octopus was spectacular: perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The food was excellent, but what truly made the experience special was the chef's warmth and hospitality. Without a doubt, it's a place we would return to and highly recommend.

14/08/2026: I've been here before and have always had a good experience, so this time I was particularly disappointed. We ordered two chicken salads, but both were virtually devoid of chicken: there were just 4 small pieces, an amount that must have been about 40 grams. I honestly find it inappropriate to call it "chicken salad" when the main ingredient is present in such a small quantity. When I pointed this out, I was simply told that this is how the salad is prepared. I then asked if it was possible to add chicken, but was told that this could only be done for an additional fee. I completely understand that ingredients cost money and that additions can be paid for, but in this case, I would have expected a regular chicken salad to already have an adequate amount of chicken. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only negative aspect of the meal. The two cuts of beef we ordered were also quite tough and rubbery, making the meat unpleasant to eat. Furthermore, the two pizzas we ordered were decidedly under-topped: once again, the quantity of ingredients seemed significantly lower than expected. Overall, we had several dishes that left us dissatisfied this time, especially considering the final bill. It's a shame, because on previous occasions I'd always had a good experience and, for that reason, I expected a much better experience. This time, however, the quality-to-quantity-to-price ratio was decidedly disappointing.

15/08/2026: The atmosphere was so loud that we couldn't hear each other, which detracted from everything else. There was a measly little plate with four 2x2 slices of pizza on the table before we even sat down, compromising hygiene and safety. The service was inattentive. The food didn't live up to our expectations. The young waiter was very kind and empathetic, the only pleasant presence during our meal.

09/06/2026: A traditional Bolognese trattoria famous for its tagliata, which, in my opinion, is amazing, but the other dishes are also very good. It's not a cheap trattoria, but the prices are average and the quality/quantity ratio is excellent. Parking is a bit limited. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback that will probably keep me from returning is the overcrowding; the tables are very close together, getting up to go to the bathroom is a herculean task, and consequently, it's excessively noisy. Talking is tiring, and all this makes it an unrelaxing environment. What a shame.

16/06/2026: I've been going to this bar at least twice a month for work for over a year. It's a classic village bar where you can get excellent croissants—which I highly recommend because they're varied and very reasonably priced—and a great coffee to start your day off right. The place is really large with plenty of space, and there's also easy free parking nearby. It's my go-to spot in Castelmaggiore.
