A quick review of 4 out of 5 stars:
The ambiance is lovely.
The food is fantastic.
BUT:
A blonde woman suddenly sat down behind our table. Presumably the owner or branch manager.
She took out her e-cigarette, smoked, and was on her phone.
I've never experienced anything like it!
With a total price of €200 for the appetizer, main course, and wine, I expect the staff to be somewhere else, relaxing.
Therefore, one star deducted.
Since the waiter was 10/10 and the food was also 10/10.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on April 27, 2026, and found a wonderful atmosphere. We were very satisfied with the service. I had a dish with cavallo (horse meat) for the first time in a very long time, and it was very well prepared and tasted exceptionally good. Thank you very much, and we wish you continued success.

Had a lovely dinner here tonight. Lovely traditional restaurant, was actually recommended by waiters from another restaurant the night before and didn't disappoint. Nice staff lovely atmosphere unbelievable food

My husband and I had dinner there before the Pooh concert. The staff was excellent and friendly. Delicious tagliatelle with truffles and other delicacies. I highly recommend it.

We ate the restaurant and the food was amazing. Order the truffle gnocchi!!! 🤩
They had high chair for our baby too. The waiters were welcoming, but a bit slow, but there was a big event happening in the other room, so it’s understandable. Also they interacted with our baby a bit too much. But maybe it was just their “Italian-ness” 😅

A chic inn atmosphere. Very well located and quiet. The cuisine aims for refinement, but the pork cheek was a bit too salty and the amarena tiramisu a little dry. Added to that, inconsistent service—table forgotten after the main course, a tight smile from the waitress, a stressed owner—it gives it 3.5 stars from me.

Wonderful Italian restaurant with delicious food. Unlike other opinions I read, the staff was super friendly and also open to speak in English (as I do not speak Italian), when they noticed my mother tongue was Spanish, they sent a native Spanish speaker from the staff to take the order. Everything from starter to desert was delicious and perfect. The lasagna was probably the best I've ever had, and the octopus salad was delicious as starter. The restaurant is far away from the crowded touristic zone, but in any case gets full at lunch and dinner time, so if you want to eat here without a reservation, better arrive early (we arrived at 12:30 and it was almost empty, but when we left at 2, it was completely full). I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I return to Verona for sure will come back to eat here again.
