21/07/2025: An excellent restaurant if you're looking for a tasty, reasonably priced lunch without too many pretensions. The food is good, with decent portions and quick service. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone on vacation looking for an elegant or quiet place: the atmosphere is rather spartan and very noisy. During my visit, the noise level was truly excessive, with many tables talking at very high volumes. Unfortunately, it became annoying, making even normal conversation difficult.

28/07/2025: The one-kilo Florentine steak was excellent, tender, and flavorful. Perfectly cooked rare and served on stone. The appetizers were also delicious. The 2015 Sagrantino, 17% ABV, was not only delicious, but also left no aftertaste whatsoever. The staff were welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was elegant and refined. The bill was steep, but it was worth it.

28/07/2025: Once in Montefalco, we decided to dine at this beautiful, high-quality restaurant. It's hard to find because it's on a street parallel to the main street, so you'll need to use your GPS navigation system to find the sign. We tried the recommended appetizer of oven-baked zucchini flowers, delicious. We then continued with tagliatelle with white veal ragù (super creamy and flavorful) and grilled lamb (excellently cooked and delicately flavored). The menu also includes dishes for non-meat eaters, including one of the most delicious dishes, recommended by the staff: pappardelle al Sagrentino. To top it all off, a fabulous ricotta and chocolate cake, magnificent. I highly recommend it.

21/07/2025: An alchemy of flavors and senses. A welcoming and unique atmosphere. The young woman who served us was so lovely; her stories made you fall in love with a dish, wine, or dessert. A discovery in an enchanting, quiet location, where time seems to stand still. Then we met the pastry chef...an artist who infuses her customers' dreams and desires into her creations. Each dish is a discovery of extraordinary flavors and combinations, and when it comes to dessert, the choice becomes overwhelming...the house's signature dessert is a chamomile ice cream, white chocolate rocher, and...nothing else, you have to come here to discover a treasure trove of precious delights and wonderful people.

12/07/2025: Before our trip I spent considerable time reading reviews and recommendations for restaurants along the way. Enoteca L'Alchimista was "the" restaurant in Montefalco, and I completely agree. Some of the best food we had on our trip. Great helpful staff with wine recommendations too! Try the Sagrantino, don't be afraid! It's excellent!

06/07/2025: Luckily found a place for lunch. Very kind staff. Fixed price menu €38 + drinks. Appetizer buffet with a wide choice and quality products. Then 2 first courses and 2 second courses with side dishes and finally dessert. All very good. Giorgione stops by to greet everyone exchanging a few words. Beautiful experience that I recommend to live

27/07/2025: Ristorante molto carino e caratteristico, ha riaperto da poco dopo i lavori di ristrutturazione e siamo subito tornati. È ancora più bello e buono, olio e vino i loro cavalli di battaglia. Massimo il gestore è una persona squisita, assolutamente da andare se si passa per Montefalco
