18/01/2026: Dining at Coccorone was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, and the highlight is undoubtedly the open fireplace where the food is grilled. The staff is truly kind, professional, and affable.
The food is exquisite: the cardoon parmigiana was an unexpected discovery, with its sublime sauce. I also highly recommend the tender meat, the gnocchi with goose ragù, and the scrambled eggs with truffles, tasty and quite generous. I had a truly wonderful time; it was a true pleasure. In my opinion, the prices are commensurate with what's on offer.
11/01/2026: The grilled meats are a must, but the other dishes are equally excellent. Very attentive service, and the prices are average for the type of restaurant and service.

25/01/2026: We visited Locanda del Teatro in Montefalco yesterday and were completely won over.
The place is beautiful, meticulously designed, with a warm and elegant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease.
We began by sharing an appetizer of hand-sliced wild-caught prosciutto with torta al testo: simply sublime, excellent ingredients showcased with great respect.
For main courses, we chose veal cheek with Sagrantino glaze and duck confit: dishes impeccable in both flavor and presentation. Authentic cuisine, refined but never artificial, with true and profound flavors.
We also thoroughly enjoyed sampling their artisanal bread accompanied by an extraordinary olive oil, further demonstrating their attention to quality.
A special mention goes to the wine cellar, truly one-of-a-kind: for wine lovers, a visit is a pure emotion.
The service was on par with everything else: the staff was knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming, making guests feel truly pampered.
A place that's more than just a restaurant, but a true experience. We'll definitely be back.

16/02/2026: We had a truly wonderful meal.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated; the Domitian tables are spectacular, as are the placemats.
The service is attentive and courteous, without ever being intrusive.
The wine list is truly noteworthy, with a special focus on local labels.
The truffle strangozzi are exceptional, as are the ravioli filled with Genovese. The pigeon as a main course is a must.

23/01/2026: Not bad, but not at the level of it's fame...good to met Giorgione,but about the food not more particular things,all good but whitout a particular meals.in my opinion to have only once time.
10/12/2025: I'll start by saying I had very, very high expectations, and perhaps that's why I was slightly disappointed. The buffet is very rich, but after 3 or 4 items, everything is very bland (pickles, cold cuts, cheeses, etc.). The waiters are very, very fast with their service, not giving you time to properly enjoy a meal of that caliber. The main courses could be improved, but they're generally good and well-proportioned. Let's talk about Giorgione, the man himself. I'd give him 5 stars for him alone. He's very affable and helpful with everyone. At least in that respect, I wasn't disappointed at all.
On the contrary...
Overall, I recommend going to him at least once.
I'd also recommend arriving on time, but also early to enjoy the buffet without too many people.

18/01/2026: Very disappointed in the meal. When your menu states a rack of lamb that donates a rack of 8 small rib chops, if it’s a half rack it’s 4 rib chops. I received 2 chops on my plate . One was actually from the rack , the other a shoulder chop. It is was also tough. The menu is very misleading or no one here understands how to properly butcher. I come from a family of butchers . We will never return despite the nice atmosphere and great staff.

A platter with four slices of prosciutto, four slices of capocollo, and two pieces of cheese with honey and mustard, 27 euros...kudos to you for the theft. Never again. Plus, the waitresses were incredibly rude.
01/01/2026: Good food, top-notch service, a welcoming but chilly atmosphere (from the cold).
Unfortunately, lunch wasn't at all peaceful; in fact, it was downright annoying, as the door to the dining room (which led outside, where it was about 2°C) was left wide open by almost all the waitresses.
Even though every time they passed, whether entering or leaving, I got up to close it and asked them to do the same, there was no way we could eat without freezing or having to run after them to close the door.
Between my partner and I, we got up to close it dozens of times.
But the thing that bothered us most was something else: when we got to the cashier to pay, we asked if everything was okay. When we mentioned the problem, we were told that since the kitchens are outside, it's normal for the door to be open to get through. After clarifying that it wasn't the crowds that were bothering us, but the fact that the door was left wide open all the time, we weren't offered any apologies; in fact, the girl at the register seemed almost annoyed by our observation.
A word of advice: if you really want to eat here when it's cold outside, make sure you stay well away from the front door.

12/01/2025: Ieri ero a Montefalco con mio marito , siamo entrati nel locale per fare un pranzo veloce, unici clienti , chiesto un tagliere x 2 , crostini preparati da tempo, affettato senza infamia e senza lode . Pagato con una una bottiglia di acqua frizzante 22 euro, siamo usciti..... certi di non tornare in quel locale.
