27/03/2025: Cibo buono, casareccio. Personale alla mano e accogliente. La pecca sono i prezzi, direi abbastanza alti per una trattoria sulla strada sperduta fuori il paesino Umbertide (Umbria). Piatti del giorno scritti su una lavagnetta. Peccato perché se i prezzi fossero leggermente più ragionevoli, si tornerebbe più spesso. Sarebbe stato un 4,2/5 ma è un 3/5 per i motivi sopraelencati.

16/02/2025: Sono del posto,e siamo tornati ad assaggiare la pizza visto che le ultime volte era risultata molto dura. Stavolta invece no,pizza buona e cotta bene,non è proprio sottilissima e neanche leggera,insomma quando te ne mangi una,la senti,è una bella pizza. Abbiamo assaggiato pure la coratella. Eccezionale. Locale senza tante pretese,con una cucina rustica come la vera cucina umbra.

31/03/2025: I'll start by clarifying that I'm including the photo of the tax receipt in order to avoid being told that I'm writing a review on a place other than this one and that perhaps it's a false review for its own sake. Saturday evening, table for two. Cockerel in the dripping pan which seemed to have been cooked beforehand and even heated so-so given that it was stringy and barely warm inside Normal pork shank (that it was very salty and forced me to drink water all night may be my personal taste) Sauteed vegetables clearly defrosted and sautéed in a pan with oil and chilli Roasted potatoes hard on the outside and mushy on the inside Last but not least, €3 cover charge The only positive note was the service guys who were kind Place stopped a few years ago but if only they had eaten well "who cares" about the location Truly expensive prices for the low quality of the dishes...almost €60 for two seconds heated in the oven and half a liter of bulk wine!

Per la prima volta nella mia vita da " turista " mi sono trovata in una situazione a dir poco IMBARAZZANTE : siamo entrati nel locale alle ore 13.00..e alle ore 14.00 ancora non era arrivata nemneno una bruschetta o un antipasto..e come noi i tavoli intorno. Abbiamo preso coraggio,ci siamo alzati ed abbiamo chiesto di poter andar via,pagando ovviamente il pane che avevamo chiesto ,arrivato dopo mezz'ora che eravamo seduti (2 persone)Il coperto ci è stato offerto,con le scuse della proprietaria.. Non si può far attendere i clienti per così tanto tempo.. Alzati noi, ci hanno seguiti altri.. Peccato,avevamo letto buone recensioni.. Non posso dare giudizi sui piatti,non avendone ricevuti.

08/02/2025: Sapori di una volta, piatti autentici e accoglienza cordiale, semplice e sorridente. Dimenticate gli chef stellati, siamo nel regno della cucina casareccia ma sapiente, un viaggio magnifico nelle specialità umbre. Antipasto ‘l’abbuffata’ e ‘della suocera’ (piccante) sublimi, ma con i secondi si vola. Un viaggio nel tempo con il raponzolo, ortaggio selvatico che mia mamma mangiava da bimba e non avevo mai assaggiato. Consiglio il vino della casa, un rosso ottimo. Poche indicazioni sul parcheggio, ma esiste quello interno. Sicuramente torneremo, ormai un posto del cuore. Vade retro snob culinari e amanti di luoghi fighetti alla milanese. Qualità prezzo ormai rara.

16/02/2025: Consigliato. Sono andato a cena per due sere di fila. La prima mangiato delle ottime ricette consigliate fuori menù, la seconda mangiato ricette dal menù. Tutto estremamente buono e con porzioni giuste (non mi sono alzato con fame). Personale molto cortese, professionale e disponibile

25/01/2025: Trovato per caso mentre eravamo in visita a San Gemini, mio marito ed io siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del pranzo gustato in questo ristorante. Ricette particolari, sapientemente cucinate . Ambiente piccolo, ma caldo e accogliente. Davvero tutto molto buono, ma la nota di merito particolare, oltre alla cuoca ovviamente, va alla cameriera , molto gentile e accogliente che ci ha fatti sentire come a casa nostra .

04/11/2024: Cuisine franche, généreuse et goûteuse, avec de forts produits. Acceuil chaleureux et excellent rapport qualité prix. Une table familiale aux plats traditionnels dans un petit coin caché mais facilement accessible. Excellent déjeuner. À ne pas louper.

14/10/2024: Locale curato negli arredi e davvero pulito, bello ma non pretenzioso, la cucina semplice della tradizione davvero eccellente. Menzione d’onore agli stringozzi alla spoletina e alle patate fritte VERE, diventate una rarità nella ristorazione. Il servizio gentile e attento, il conto una sorpresa molto piacevole. Promosso a pieni voti! Oggi ci torno a pranzo.

03/04/2025: To be avoided. Drunk owner who doesn't show up for work. I stopped by for lunch on April 1st at 12pm and for dinner on April 2nd at 7.30pm and always found it closed. Finding it closed, I called first in both cases to find out if they were open or if the opening times on Google hadn't been updated, still trying to get some explanations. In both cases on the phone he tried more than tipsy to dish out some super fucks. Fabio, apparently the owner, is known to me (and as demonstrated by telephone) by fellow villagers for always being with the flask in one hand and holding his big Pinocchio nose in the other. Definitely not reliable. They say the meat is good, but the way he acts makes me think that his meat isn't that good after all. It would make me go sideways. Ridiculous. He said these exact words to me: do I look like someone who needs to keep the place open? Is a customer treated like this? Yet I wouldn't even spend a little to eat good meat. If the meat gives me so much, it is mediocre as is the attitude of the owner. By the way, drunkards with their heads soaked in wine disgust me and even make me feel a little sorry. Aripiate. We can't behave like this. Reading other reviews it's not the first time. I only wish you the last one. This is how this individual's behavior disappointed me. I am very saddened. We rely on reviews, we rely on timetables written on Google, but above all we rely on the ethics and good manners of the owner. Above all, dignity is inevitable.

05/01/2025: I start this review by clarifying that I NEVER give 5 stars. Restaurant with a meat vocation... very nice place located in a location where once there were also cellars! Very courteous staff. Moving on to the food... what can I tell you to do... I had gnocchi with white ragout of Chiania... a fairy tale! My husband took the mixed cheese and cured meat platter... all good and of excellent quality as well as the oil we find on the table. For dessert I took cantucci and vin santo! If I really have to find a flaw is on the coffee, but they offer it anyway! Recommended for the quality of the food and the value for money!

09/03/2025: Dopo tanti anni siamo tornati in questo ristorante e con grande piacere abbiamo ritrovato la stessa qualità e autenticità di un tempo. I sapori sono rimasti eccellenti, con piatti preparati con cura e ingredienti super. Il servizio è cordiale. In un periodo in cui i prezzi nei ristoranti tendono a salire, qui abbiamo trovato un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Ottimi gli antipasti (antipasto della casa e crostini caldi) superlativi i primi (tagliatelle salsa tartufata e tagliatelle sugo d'oca)...una vera e propria scoperta torta al testo prosciutto e funghi, super slurp. Un posto che merita davvero di essere visitato (e rivisitato!). Complimenti a tutto lo staff!

02/01/2025: Locale con arredi anni 80 ma pulito e ben tenuto, torta al testo molto buona, primi cucinati in maniera tradizionale, deludente la porzione di cappelletti al tartufo, erano davvero pochi. Buoni i dolci. Servizio nella norma, è stata sbagliata la farcitura di una torta al testo ma pazienza l'abbiamo mangiata lo stesso. Prezzi adeguati

25/03/2025: Historic restaurant on the main square of the city, with large rooms on which acoustic treatment has been carried out with sound-absorbing panels, large outdoor space for the summer season with a view of the Fontana Maggiore. I had never come to eat at this restaurant and probably reading some of the reviews I wouldn't have chosen it, but I really enjoyed it. Fried artichokes, tagliatelle with wild asparagus and sausages, all excellent, friendly waiter. I can't comment on the bill as I was staying with a friend. I will return willingly and soon.

04/03/2025: Location molto carina, in piazza , con vista sulla fontana. Disponibilità e cortesia . Hanno accettato volentieri i nostri due cagnoloni. Arredo interno un pochino retro' ma adatto al contesto. Nella media,nulla di strepitoso.
