01/02/2026: This restaurant was a delightful discovery. The food was delicious and of excellent quality. The service was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. Considering the excellent value for money, I would recommend it without hesitation.

14/01/2026: Hospitality in an intimate and informal setting. Traditional cuisine with refined Trentino specialties and more, plus a children's menu. The platter of cured meats, cheeses, walnuts, and giardiniera was generous, and we shared it between the two of us. My next dish was the obligatory canederli with butter and sage, while my son enjoyed a generous platter of stewed venison with polenta and sauerkraut. To finish, the homemade strudel, as well as the other desserts on the menu, was served. Impeccable and attentive service. We didn't take photos, but we truly appreciated the attention to detail and quality.

30/12/2025: I don't think there's much to say other than WE WILL RETURN as often as we can. Delicious food, impeccable service, and a stunning location in every detail.

03/03/2026: As soon as we sat down, little Nicolò offered us his bread bites with red cheese (delicious). We ate spaetzle and cheese dumplings. While we waited, we had cabbage salad and tortel, all washed down with an excellent Groppello. Everything was delicious; we didn't order dessert. Before leaving, the lady offered us a homemade liqueur. Last but not least, the homemade bread was still warm. 🔝

28/02/2026: Welcoming place, friendly staff. We ordered two small tasting menus (starter, main course, dessert). The food was very good, well-balanced, beautifully plated, and the timing from ordering to serving was spot on. With water and two glasses of red, it was €90, but we paid €80 because we had a discount. A positive experience, highly recommended.

26/02/2026: Excellent food, great atmosphere, warm and welcoming staff. Highly recommended. My partner and I had decided to reach the osteria (on foot) via a hiking trail. Encountering much more snow (and unexpected events) than we had imagined, we decided to call the osteria to inform us that we would be significantly delayed beyond our reservation time. We explained the situation to the staff, who immediately provided us with instructions on how we could safely reach the osteria, reassuring us about the delay. Following their directions, we arrived at a time still suitable for lunch, where we found the staff extremely welcoming and understanding, whom we would like to thank again. The service was excellent and always prompt, and the explanations of the dishes offered were clear and pleasant, all with flavors that would be an understatement. A wonderful experience. We extend our further thanks to staff member Alessio, who provided us with crucial assistance and hospitality in a time of great need.

04/03/2026: A must-try in the village of Bolsena: platters of cured meats and cheeses for snacks, aperitifs, and even quick lunches, only served outdoors, so in good weather. The shop also sells vacuum-packed items, with a wide selection to suit all budgets. The owner is kind and courteous, a true taste of yesteryear. 🥰

21/02/2026: Looking for a quick lunch with excellent ingredients? This is the place. We ordered two platters and a couple of glasses of wine, and it was a feast right away. Everything was excellent, absolutely excellent. Special mention goes to the young woman who served us: she was quick, cheerful, and helpful. The price? In my opinion, it was absolutely fair, in fact, lower than the platter we were offered. By the way, the platter wasn't exactly cheap; on the contrary. If we return to Bolsena, we'll definitely be back for lunch.

13/03/2026: I'm reporting what happened on the evening of Friday, March 13, 2026. There were six of us at dinner. Wanting to be nice, I took the note the waiter leaves when he brings drinks (with the table number) and went to the cashier to pay the entire bill of approximately €180, using the electronic system that manages tables and orders. After paying, I stepped outside for a moment to make a phone call, thinking my companions would join me right away. During the call, I saw my friends heading toward the cashier. Fearing they were checking separately without knowing I'd already paid, I returned. Meanwhile, my group of five diners, unaware of the payment, had given the cashier the same table number (table 13, room below). The cashier (the same person I'd paid) summarized the entire order of approximately €180, which corresponded exactly to the bill I'd just paid. My friends confirmed that it was correct and asked for separate bills. At that point, the cashier began recording the payments and collected the first couple's payment. After I returned, saying I'd just paid the full bill, the cashier looked at me and said, "Ah, that's why I didn't understand table 12." But we had only mentioned table 13, and the cashier had correctly summarized the bill for table 13 after the diners had indicated their table number. At that point, the money was refunded to the couple who had already paid. We left feeling very disappointed about what had happened.

30/12/2025: The staff is super nice and friendly, I'm giving it three stars because for the food we ate we spent too much, considering that the prices of drinks and desserts are not indicated and cost as much as the main courses... the food was good but our expectations were higher given the reviews.

14/03/2026: Discovered by chance, this is an excellent place for both the location and the food. The appetizer of blue cheeses with honey and homemade giardiniera was SUPER! The risotto of the day with beets, the burger was excellent, accompanied by grilled vegetables. And to finish, a sweet dumpling with a raspberry center... I don't have a sweet tooth, but it was spectacular. A high-quality lunch.
