15/03/2026: Nice atmosphere. Menu with regional dishes, the right place to taste them

14/03/2026: Discovered by chance, this is an excellent place for both the location and the food. The appetizer of blue cheeses with honey and homemade giardiniera was SUPER! The risotto of the day with beets, the burger was excellent, accompanied by grilled vegetables. And to finish, a sweet dumpling with a raspberry center... I don't have a sweet tooth, but it was spectacular. A high-quality lunch.

09/12/2025: The place is very beautiful and welcoming, and the food isn't bad; not excellent or unforgettable, mind you, but better than other refuges. The pros end there. The wait is very long. Unfortunately, as in all refuges, but especially here, the prices are exorbitant: €28 for a steak that must have been barely 200g with a few potatoes? €8 for a slice of strudel? €10 for the "dessert of the day"? You're in Paganella, not St. Moritz. But as long as there's a line outside, they're right to drive up the prices (I'd insert a famous Wanna Marchi quote here, but that would be vulgar); personally, I don't think they'll see me again.

14/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in the heart of Val di Sole. A warm, welcoming atmosphere and cuisine using locally sourced ingredients, blending tradition and innovation. The food is delicious, with rich flavors and carefully prepared dishes. The bread is excellent—or rather, homemade. We want to return soon!

10/03/2026: A truly exceptional place, with high-quality dishes and an excellent wine list featuring local selections. You can choose a tasting menu for €50 or order à la carte with a minimum of two courses. Very competitive prices for the quality. The welcoming space, decorated in wood and stone, is tastefully furnished. Highly recommended.

15/01/2026: Christmas Eve lunch. A place and location brimming with atmosphere. A restaurant suspended between earth, sky, and sea, on a pouring rainy day. You arrive and are enveloped by the kindness and friendliness of the entire staff. A truly excellent lunch, topped off with some excellent appetizers and fried dishes. Excellent first courses, beautifully presented and rich in flavor on the plate and on the palate. If I had to highlight and add something unique about this restaurant, in my humble opinion, it would be the opportunity to savor the deliciousness of local seafood in its simplicity, where the authentic flavor and taste of the sea truly shines. In this restaurant, which maintains its family tradition, the seafood takes on a genuine, authentic, and flavorful quality that you only find in restaurants with truly brilliant chefs in the kitchen. The price was in line with the amount we ate and drank. A sublime experience.

06/02/2026: You can here have the best local typical food "tortel di patate" that is a special hash brown. You can have it with local salami and prosciutto and other like local cheese, that really you have not to miss all of them but don't forget that you can simply have it with a little jar of local berry jam. Enjoy what you can not find other than in those places.

26/02/2026: Excellent food, great atmosphere, warm and welcoming staff. Highly recommended. My partner and I had decided to reach the osteria (on foot) via a hiking trail. Encountering much more snow (and unexpected events) than we had imagined, we decided to call the osteria to inform us that we would be significantly delayed beyond our reservation time. We explained the situation to the staff, who immediately provided us with instructions on how we could safely reach the osteria, reassuring us about the delay. Following their directions, we arrived at a time still suitable for lunch, where we found the staff extremely welcoming and understanding, whom we would like to thank again. The service was excellent and always prompt, and the explanations of the dishes offered were clear and pleasant, all with flavors that would be an understatement. A wonderful experience. We extend our further thanks to staff member Alessio, who provided us with crucial assistance and hospitality in a time of great need.

20/02/2026: We ate wonderfully! The appetizer was simply fantastic, rich and carefully prepared. The venison with blueberry jam was simply amazing. The portions are generous: we didn't even make it to dessert... and that's saying a lot, considering we expertly polished off everything else! The house wine is also delicious, perfect for accompanying even the most flavorful dishes. Excellent value for money. We'll happily return every time we're in town!

17/01/2026: Great food especially the two veal dishes on the menu. Be sure to book ahead of time to get a table, and to sit on main floor. Much nicer than sitting downstairs where more cramped, and good chance no table for walk in.

17/01/2026: We ordered two "Golosa" pizzas, and despite the generous toppings—gorgonzola, onion, burrata, and spicy salami—the pizza was still very digestible with a very light crust. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the service was quick and efficient.

15/03/2026: The waitress is incapable to smile and has an odd behavior. She is very unwelcoming and makes people feel uncomfortable. It is not normal to sit there for 15 minutes and she does not even come to the table asking if you need water. This was probably the worst service, I have seen. The owner if wants the business first needs to fire this rude lady. We come for vacation to cavalese for 40 years and there are many good restaurants around.

28/02/2026: Fabulous traditional Trentino dishes. Especially the canederli and grostel. The desserts are also excellent: the strudel (the real thing). The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and offers plenty of choices, including allergens (including gluten). Highly recommended 🤤

22/02/2026: A good restaurant in the heart of Andalo. It offers traditional food at reasonable prices, a 15-20 minute walk from the slopes and a 5-minute walk from the center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend calling to reserve, especially for large groups.
