16/11/2025: The rustic restaurant is perhaps a little dark, but overall, the decor is perfect. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The waitress is always kind and ready to accommodate your every need. But the highlight of the restaurant is the food. One word: SUPERLATIVE... Everything was perfect... Thank you for your hospitality, we'll definitely be back...

06/11/2025: An excellent selection of various cuts of meat, excellent service, and a meticulously maintained venue that combines elegance and traditional charm. The pleasant experience and the quality of the ingredients justify the expense (we spent about €300 for two). We were able to watch the various courses being prepared on the enormous open grill. Definitely recommended, a treat for a special evening.

20/11/2025: Dinner with a View! Montemerano, a sleepy gem in the Maremma, is known not only for its medieval setting and narrow streets, but also for its excellent osterias. One of these is Dal Moro, where we spent an unforgettable evening – with breathtaking views, authentic Tuscan cuisine, and an atmosphere that is both lively and cozy. Ambiance & Service The rooftop terrace offers a magnificent view, and the restaurant was packed throughout – a good sign. Many locals, many regulars. The owner himself pitches in with the service and takes the time to chat with the guests. You feel welcome, almost like you're among friends. Food & Drinks The evening began with a classic Campari Spritz, accompanied by a generous antipasti platter for one – although "for one" is quite an understatement. Parma ham, wild boar ham, fennel salami, lardo, and wild boar pâté – down-to-earth, hearty, and typical of the region. For my main course, I chose braised wild boar ribs and shoulder in tomato sauce with olives, served with fried polenta and roasted potatoes – an absolute highlight. My wife opted for the homemade pappardelle with wild boar ragout, and our son had a pizza. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and of the highest quality. Conclusion Dal Moro is the osteria you'd hope for: small, family-run, with a focused menu and dishes that impress with quality over quantity. If you're in the Maremma, you shouldn't miss this place. 5/5 – highly recommended!

07/12/2025: Great food and lovely people!!! The pici with wild boar ragù are exquisite, the best I've ever had in Maremma! But what makes the experience unforgettable is the service: friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the region and its delicacies. Thank you, Alberto, for the licorice liqueur to finish... we'll be back soon!

24/11/2025: The staff were friendly and super kind, the owner was a little less busy touting his stars with other tables. I kindly asked for clarification on the first course, which turned out to be completely opposite to the description. Luckily, the quality was excellent, the second course was nothing special... honestly, I expected much better, both reading the reviews and listening to the owner's words... the semifreddo was delicious, while the much-lauded panna cotta was the worst I've ever eaten! In conclusion, I don't think I'll return to this highly praised but under-substantial place.

23/11/2025: The only thing I can say is about the truffle: since the black one is sold out, it would be helpful to indicate in advance the price per gram of the white truffle and the quantity used per portion (in my case, tagliolini cost €49). This detail would further improve an already excellent service.
