31/03/2026: We had lunch today for a family celebration. Aside from the excellent food, we also left happy with the welcome we received and the friendly service, two things that are becoming increasingly rare in Rome.

14/03/2026: We had wonderful pasta dishes. The wild boar ragu was fantastic. The Birra Moretti was at just the right temperature. Starters and bread were very good. We were served by the wonderful Stefano. Staff are brilliant and multilingual. Would definitely eat here again.

After three days in Rome, I was quite disappointed with the local restaurants. The maxim "Italian food is delicious outside of Italy" was confirmed.
However, the situation was saved by dinner at this restaurant near my apartment in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of the city center.
Great atmosphere. Most of the patrons are Italian. Excellent regular and special menus. Super Tuscan by the glass. Amazing pasta with rabbit, excellent beef.
My impressions of Roman establishments are tempered. Perhaps in Tuscany it will be different...

14/07/2025: Buena comida y servicio, la mejor comida en varios días de viaje a Roma. Comer entrante, principal, postre. Todo sabe bien y el servicio era genial.
24/06/2025: Fomos de última hora, reservamos pelo The Fork com desconto ainda e foi top 2 da viagem! Pratos simples e perfeitos, atendimento super atencioso e agradável. O amatriciana e carbonara estavam 1000/10!

24/08/2025: Il Ristorante Antica Torretta è il luogo ideale per una raffinata cena di lavoro, un romantico tête-à-tête, una piacevole serata fra amici.DescrizioneNel brolo del vescovo il Ristorante Antica TorrettaRistorante con cucina a vista.Grande ricercatezza nelle materie prime e nella creatività dei piatti.Dal Duomo per andare al Ponte Pietra non si può non passare per piazza Broilo, una delle piazze “minori” della città, ma non per questo meno bella. Anzi, i due maggiori fondali, quello di fronte, venendo dal Vescovado e quello a destra sono decisamente splendidi. Sono costituiti dalle facciate di due palazzi: uno degli Asili Aportiani e l’altro di palazzo Cerù.

02/02/2025: Ringrazio la mia amica Francesca per avermi fatto conoscere questo diamante della ristorazione . Locale raffinato ed elegante nei minimi particolari ma allo stesso tempo vieni accolto in maniera calorosa ed affettuosa . Piatti sapientemente cucinati con materie prime di livello si capisce che c’è una cura estrema nei dettagli . Io personalmente ho preso un antipasto e un secondo di carne la guancia con pure Che dire superlativo . Una nota particolare la do a i dolci di un livello superiore alla media che viene servita nei ristoranti . Ovviamente fatti da loro . Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale . Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti . Ringrazio ancora la mia amica per avermi fatto conoscere questo ristorante . Grazie siete veramente molto bravi 👏
