We tried the Ragu Bianco and the Pappardelle sulla lepre, both fantastic choices! The Chianti by the glass also very good.

The Florentines Who Saved Rome... After three days in Rome, I was quite disappointed with the local restaurants. The maxim "Italian food is delicious outside of Italy" was confirmed. However, the situation was saved by dinner at this restaurant near my apartment in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of the city center. Great atmosphere. Most of the patrons are Italian. Excellent regular and special menus. Super Tuscan by the glass. Amazing pasta with rabbit, excellent beef. My impressions of Roman establishments are tempered. Perhaps in Tuscany it will be different...

A restaurant with a slightly too 'vintage' style, where you can enjoy excellent food and a very good wine list, but the service is absolutely not up to par (wrong dishes, missing items, and oversights that ruined our evening). Prices are decidedly high, I'd say too expensive. It's a shame.

Maledetti Toscani

04/07/2026: Wonderful restaurant off the beaten path. Family came here for dinner. The staff.. awesome! They warned us that there wasn't an English version of the menu. No worries! Here comes Google translate. Guys...guys...the menu was excellent! First we order Zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta (I think) with a pesto sauce. As well as the cheese and meat sampler that came with honey and an apricot chutney/jelly. Foreplay at its finest. For my main meal I ordered a dish I have never had before. It was a thicker spaghetti noodle, anchovies and breadcrumbs. Loved it! My family ordered other mains and we ended up passing plates to try them.
18/06/2026: Delicious food. Friendly, warm, welcoming staff. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
