12/01/2025: I had dinner as a couple in this restaurant at the end of August, centrally located on a terrace next to the Follonica seafront. Each dish deserved a photo before being tasted, really well prepared and excellent. We ate the Crudite', the tagliolini with seafood, the spaghetti with cockles, and finally the cylinder of chocolate and zabaglione, all truly delicious. We spent the right amount and if we pass through Follonica we will certainly return.

31/12/2024: I had dinner at "Il Sottomarino" in September and was very satisfied. The dishes are particular, well prepared and above all delicious, with very fresh fish. The environment is welcoming and the staff friendly and attentive. An excellent restaurant for those looking for quality and originality in seafood dishes. Definitely recommended!

01/01/2025: A Sicilian experience in Pisa that takes you back, in terms of service, environment and food, to a wonderful and welcoming land. Gaetano is the king of the house together with his father, two kind, easy-going people with a great deal of experience behind them, helped by Gaetano's wife, friendly and very good at preparing liqueurs. The raw ham, which has a touch of personality, is of great quality and very tasty, unique in its kind. Great first courses, the spaghetti alla Tano and the red prawn sauce worthy of note for their true and authentic taste. A recommended experience for lovers of real cuisine with strong flavors and excellent raw materials.

03/02/2025: We visited this restaurant with friends last Wednesday evening. Being someone that owns multiple restaurants in the USA “italianfoodcompany” and actually grew up in Sicily, near the area of Catania. This is genuine/traditional Sicilian cuisine. Wow! Everything was amazing from the bread, to the amazing parmigiana and I completed the dinner with a pesto pasta alla genovese, the owner, the chef were so warm and pleasant. I was brought here by a local resident, named Cristiana and her wonderful partner. It was a wonderful dinner perhaps one of the very best restaurants in Florence. Thank you

29/08/2024: To be honest, the restaurant is so-so... The food could be better, as well as the service. The dining room is clean and large. The prices are not expensive enough. You can take a menu for one person for €15.00 and eat quite well.🍝

02/01/2025: I really enjoyed this restaurant where I went twice already. Sicilian cucina the sea food is superb. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the evening, it beautiful to be on holiday in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, and enjoy a lovely dinner here

03/10/2024: Unfortunately the most disappointing restaurant experience during our Italian vacation. We sat in a kind of “side room” without a classic, pleasant restaurant atmosphere, but with an uncomfortable draft. One of the two service staff tried very hard at first, but after the first drink and food order was placed, we were literally ignored. The portions were so small that even the combination of Primi and Secondi Piatti wasn't filling. In the end we paid almost €100 for an uncomfortable evening in which we went home hungry and disappointed.
