like at home.
They also provided us with valuable advice for the continuation of the holiday. Advised.

05/08/2024: My girlfriend and I had lunch here as soon as we arrived in Favignana. Needless to say, out of the 4 days we spent there, we ate at this place 3 times🤣
We had the chance to try a little bit of everything; the anelletti were delicious and the ice fish fritters were excellent but what won us over the most was the fried iris; a brioche bread filled with ragù or ham, breaded and fried. Marvelous.

23/08/2024: The farmhouse, located in the countryside of Salemi, is large and well furnished but is appreciated above all for the abundance and freshness of the food prepared, simple and tasty. The cappidduzzi and ricotta tart are excellent.
23/08/2024: If there is a restaurant not to be missed in Sicily near Trapani, it's this one. Isolated, quiet, you can enjoy a beautiful swimming pool but above all enjoy a plethora of dishes, each better than the other. A word of advice: come on an empty stomach.
Taste the gnocchi with cream and pistachio. Delicious. The rest, take your time and enjoy. Good appetite.

25/08/2024: We were welcomed into this fantastic restaurant by Francesca, a fantastic person just like the cuisine she offers, the typical dishes can be seen to be made with love, in these 4 days on holiday in Trapani after the first evening we couldn't help but return here on the last evening, busiate san carlo sensational, not to mention the couscous and seafood caponata. Super super super recommended superlative waiters who put you at ease! GO THERE.
25/08/2024: It took me three days to find a free table, but it was worth it. Nice place in a fairly quiet area, right background music, very friendly and professional staff, right from the booking. We took a caponata to split in two as an appetizer, busiate with Trapani pesto, spaghettoni with sardines and a delicious pistachio jar for dessert.
All very good and served on very beautiful plates.

07/08/2024: The Matradee was extremely rude to us. While he talked to other guests he would not with us, whether that is because we are Americans or were two women I do not know. As we were leaving he also asked for a tip and made us feel pressured.
Our server could not recommend a bottle of wine to go with our dishes, stating he did not know.
The food was ok, truffle cream pasta was the best dish we ordered and it was still just ok. There are way better pasta dishes in Florence.
28/07/2024: Food is not great. Bread is tasteless. Osso bucco seems like it was just sous vide with sauce slapped on. Salad was not even fresh. Not worth it when you can experience better food elsewhere.

30/08/2024: We had a relaxing dinner with friends last night, a total of 8 people, we paid 120 euros for 4 very small starters (120 euros) which my partner and I personally didn't even taste and the very small quantity... the first one, I have to be honest, was good ! So good that tonight we all had intestinal problems... NEVER AGAIN totally negative experience on all fronts
