05/10/2024: Restaurant  found by chance reading an enthusiastic review. Located outside a small town but the navigator  locates it. Run by a friendly married couple, it is inside a beautiful private house. They offer three very interesting fixed menus which are more than abundant with slightly revisited typical Sicilian products. All good and pleasant to the taste and sight. The wine offered is good. Good starters. The fish couscous with mussels and squid is good, the busiate alla trapanese and the swordfish rolls are good. Price appropriate to quantity and quality.

17/12/2024: Lunch on 15 December 2024, with two dear friends in the historic center of Trapani. Booked for four, a few days in advance at the Archi di San Carlo. Here I found the welcome perfect, a sober, well-kept, well-lit environment. The service at the tables was attentive and always accompanied by broad smiles. Attentive assistance in choosing wines as well as suggesting off-menu items. Normally the waiting times for the careful and careful preparation of the dishes are not very numerous, but I consider this an advantage. The ingredients, all of the highest quality including the delicious desserts, made lunch a very pleasant experience. Having verified the high quality of the experience, I consider the value for money to be excellent. Highly recommended.

14/11/2024: We discovered the Lo Stagnone restaurant, admirably managed by Mr Andrea and his family, in 2003 and since then every time we return to San Vito Lo Capo we cannot help but savor his dishes again, all combined with friendliness and courtesy that will make you feel at home. In August this year we returned again. The completely renovated restaurant, where you can see the refinement of the details, the open kitchen, where Andrea's young son skilfully creates his dishes, always demonstrate great passion in carrying on the business. Thanks to the Figuccia family and in particular to Mr. Andrea, see you next time!

The food is a real explosion of taste: the caponata is delicious, rich in flavors and well balanced. But the real protagonists are the first courses, which are a spectacle for the palate, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The location, simple and unpretentious, is a bit reminiscent of a delicatessen, but the informal atmosphere makes everything welcoming and without frills. The staff is truly exceptional: kind, fast and very attentive, they carry out their work with a commitment that is felt in every dish served. An excellent experience with a truly unbeatable quality-price ratio. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

04/11/2024: I can't help but give 5 stars. It's November. We came to San Vito lo Capo and had dinner here. I don't eat spicy food, but I really wanted to eat the seafood couscous and among the ingredients there was chilli. I was offered a taste, so I could make sure it was as delicate as I had been told. I really didn't expect such thorough treatment... I was amazed. They presented it to me as a normal portion dish, but in a "reduced" format. Stunning and super good. Very delicate with chilli and really tasty, so I took the dish. My partner had an octopus salad 🐙 and then busiata Messina style, with swordfish, aubergines and mint.... The portion is not very generous, but very good. The staff were therefore very welcoming. I didn't mind the place, it has an outdoor terrace. I highly recommend it. I want to thank the chef again who was really kind and helpful.

02/11/2024: In cerca di un ristorante dove mangiare un buon Couscous, dopo vari suggerimenti, siamo arrivati da Agorà, dove ho trovato il miglior Couscous che abbia mai mangiato. Bell'ambiente, ottimi piatti e gestore simpaticissimo con il quale siamo rimasti piacevolmente a parlare a fine serata. Ottimo ristorante, lo consiglio per la freschezza del pesce, la qualità della cucina e per il costo della cena.

30/08/2024: We had a relaxing dinner with friends last night, a total of 8 people, we paid 120 euros for 4 very small starters (120 euros) which my partner and I personally didn't even taste and the very small quantity... the first one, I have to be honest, was good ! So good that tonight we all had intestinal problems... NEVER AGAIN totally negative experience on all fronts

08/10/2024: Ho mangiato male a prezzi alti. È l’esempio, secondo me, di chi vorrebbe fare innovazione culinaria senza esserne in grado: a titolo esemplificativo un tonno che dovrebbe essere grigliato era bruciato all’esterno e intriso di olio all’inverosimile: immaginabile e lasciato in gran parte nel piatto: sarebbe bastato veramente poco. Le lenticchie sembravano stracotte e preparate da settimane: 24 euro per avergli messo sopra una julienne di seppie cotte (non crude) immerse in qualcosa di verde… ecc ecc il foie gras che normalmente adoro mi sembrava midollo bovino e abbinarlo allo sgombro mi sembrava una buona idea in principio ma mi sono ricreduto. Però erano simpatici.

30/09/2024: Questo, secondo me, è il migliore ristorante di Favignana. Menù molto vario, materia prima ottima, preparazione e presentazione dei piatti super. Si beve anche molto bene. Il personale gentilissimo. Che dite provatelo!!!!!
