19/02/2025: What can I say, VERY GOOD. The most authentic place I ate in Favignana... typical cuisine, they have a wide choice of first courses, second courses, all very fresh. Not the usual "tourist" place you find in the center.... It's worth stopping by several times, so you can taste everything!!! Highly recommended….

29/12/2024: A few steps from our B&B we decide to try this gastronomy on the advice of our friends. Everything is freshly prepared, very clean open kitchen. We had an octopus salad, scialatelli alla norma and tuna meatballs. The food was excellent, but the added value is the staff, very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

11/02/2025: Today February 11th I had a reservation for dinner for 4 people... ah it was my son's birthday who came from France to spend it with me. I found the restaurant closed...and they didn't notify me. I was coming from Salemi and at 10.00 we were looking for places to eat. Nice seriousness!

09/02/2025: Arrived without reservation, alone, on a Saturday in February for lunch. The owner was kind to find me a seat even though the room was almost full. Characteristic place, in the middle of the countryside. I didn't do the set menu, but tried caponata and artichoke and ravioli. Everything was tasty, even if the artichokes, in my opinion, were a little hard on the outside. Very polite and professional staff. To return with friends.

08/10/2024: Eravamo gia' stati qui quando il ristorante (allora anche pizzeria, se non sbaglio), aveva un altro nome. La proprieta' è rimasta la stessa, il patron è sempre lui, a prima vista magari burbero, ma quando lo conosci lo apprezzi. Cosi' come la sua cucina, improntata alla tradizione siciliana, dalle portate generose e a prezzi corretti. Pertanto siamo venuti qui a cena piu' di una volta, per gustare eccellente pasta con le sarde e dei paccheri alla norma (ambedue fra i migliori di questa tipologia fra tutti quelli che abbiamo provato in questi anni di Sicilia). Pescato del giorno a prezzo "umano", apprezzato molto anche il polpo e lo spada panato. Se avete spazio (ma non è facile, date le porzioni) preparatevi a una cassata altrettanto generosa.

23/02/2025: Cozy place. Polite staff. Appetizer of fried calamari and mixed seafood, really tasty and well cooked. Busiate with Trapani-style pesto... the tomato cut into cubes doesn't yield much flavor. Then there was little garlic. In short, a little tasteless, not up to par with the starter. Busiate with crab ragu.... you couldn't taste the flavor of the crab because it was too delicate and dominated by the tomato. Better to use another type of fish. However, overall a pleasant experience. Three place settings, two starters, 3 first courses, two bottles of water. Price around 30 euros per person. It can fit.

22/02/2025: Had lunch in this restaurant on the occasion of a business trip to Sicily, being a large group we were offered a fixed menu with a "Misto Mare" starter (consisting of octopus salad with mashed potatoes and courgettes, skewer of prawn with reduction of nero d'avola, cod fillet with sweet and sour onion, fried tuma with bottarga, arancinetta), an encore of first courses (busiate with prawns and cherry tomatoes and pasta with sardines) and Sicilian cassata, all paired with a local white wine (Grillo). Excellent product quality, tasty but light and well-balanced dishes. Very friendly and helpful staff and a welcoming and characteristic environment. If you are in Marsala a place to go. Advised.

18/02/2025: Vito Lamia is a very good chef and very rich in humanity. A great lover of the sea due to his childhood spent in Porto Ostuna. We tasted with immense joy the cassatelle stuffed with ricotta and cooked in an exquisite fish broth worthy of 10 and praise. Sunday we tasted: Busiata with red shrimp and Vastedda del Belice Ingredients: busiate, tomato, garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, red shrimp, VASTEDDA DEL BELICE; Stuffed squid with cream of artichokes Ingredients: squid, fresh breadcrumbs, pine nuts, raisins, tomato, parsley, onion, salt, black pepper, artichokes. Exceptional dishes, which we will never forget and which will make us return next year. VITO YOU ARE VERY GOOD

05/10/2024: Ristorante trovato per caso leggendo un'entusiasmante recensione. Ubicato fuori da un piccolo paese ma il navigatore lo individua. Gestito da una simpatica coppia di coniugi è all'interno di una bella casa privata. Propongono tre menù fissi molto interessanti più che abbondanti con prodotti tipici siciliani leggermente rivisitati. Tutto buono e gradevole al gusto e alla vista. Buono il vino proposto. Buoni gli antipasti. Buono il cous cous di pesce con cozze e calamaro, buone le busiate alla trapanese e gli involtini di pesce spada. Prezzo adeguato alla quantità e alla qualità.

19/02/2025: We had lunch at Giacomo last January 19th during the long winter trip in the magnificent Sicily, which took us to visit Mazara del Vallo and its suggestive casbah. Sunday lunch at the trattoria da Giacomo was a pleasant and appetizing stop in our wandering around the multi-ethnic city. Mixed appetizer, busiate clams shrimp and swordfish eggs and a tasty decomposed cannoli, all excellent! Don't let the appearance put you off, go in confidently and you won't regret it! The trattoria, which also offers rotisserie service, is frequented by locals and this speaks in its favor.

25/11/2024: This is a magnificent restaurant. Everything is perfect and the seafood is extremely fresh and tasty. The service is excellent and the ambiance is cute. The staff is very friendly and nice. It was a perfect way to end our stay at San Vito lo capo

14/11/2024: We discovered the Lo Stagnone restaurant, admirably managed by Mr Andrea and his family, in 2003 and since then every time we return to San Vito Lo Capo we cannot help but savor his dishes again, all combined with friendliness and courtesy that will make you feel at home. In August this year we returned again. The completely renovated restaurant, where you can see the refinement of the details, the open kitchen, where Andrea's young son skilfully creates his dishes, always demonstrate great passion in carrying on the business. Thanks to the Figuccia family and in particular to Mr. Andrea, see you next time!

11/01/2025: In un paese semplice tranquillo, Sala Monferrato, non ti aspetti un ristorante (altrettanto semplice) a questo livello. Il cibo, tradizionale, è spesso superlativo. I gestori, padre e due figlie, sono gentili e velocissimi, tenendo conto che tutto è fatto al momento. La solida tradizione con piccole innovazioni azzeccate , frutto di una professionalità in crescendo, va proprio premiata. Viene voglia di tornare spesso.

02/01/2025: Wir waren über Silvester 2024/2025 da, Super schöne Location, wunderschön dekoriert und freundliches Personal. Das essen war fantastisch und gut organisiert. Der Preis war Sehr angemessen da Wein, Wasser und Süssgetränke inbegriffen waren dazu noch Aperitiv, Dessert und sogar noch Feurwerk. Es ist sehr empfehlenstwert. Liebe Grüsse Toni

04/11/2024: I can't help but give 5 stars. It's November. We came to San Vito lo Capo and had dinner here. I don't eat spicy food, but I really wanted to eat the seafood couscous and among the ingredients there was chilli. I was offered a taste, so I could make sure it was as delicate as I had been told. I really didn't expect such thorough treatment... I was amazed. They presented it to me as a normal portion dish, but in a "reduced" format. Stunning and super good. Very delicate with chilli and really tasty, so I took the dish. My partner had an octopus salad 🐙 and then busiata Messina style, with swordfish, aubergines and mint.... The portion is not very generous, but very good. The staff were therefore very welcoming. I didn't mind the place, it has an outdoor terrace. I highly recommend it. I want to thank the chef again who was really kind and helpful.

05/12/2024: I visited this restaurant in December 2023 with my father and it was one of the best culiniary experience I´VE ever had. The white wine , the food were just wonderful. Before leaving the owner even offered us a one of a kind wine that I wish I knew the name so I could get one now , but I think it was homemade.

06/01/2025: Siamo stati a pranzare il giorno dell Epifania presso questo ristorante . Dopo un antipasto ottimo abbiamo preso due primi Ravioli all ericina e tagliatelle alla pentolaccia, come secondi filetto di maiale con fonduta di formaggio e costata di vitello alla lupara. Poi dei dolcini ericini con passito offerto. Tutto super ottimo con il personale gentilissimo disponibile e veloce. Un plauso ad Ignazio e a tutti
