12/11/2025: A nice little restaurant recommended by our host. It is in a small typical street. Waiters were friendly and English was not a problem. We have all ordered pasta which were delicious. Desserts are simple, classic and good. The room was nicely decorated.

02/01/2026: I had lunch today with my boyfriend. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, as were the presentation and the combinations. Exceptional service. A pleasant discovery in the wonderful land of Sicily.

01/01/2026: WE ATE YESTERDAY EVENING. THE DISHES WERE EXCELLENT WITH GREAT REFINEMENT IN WHICH THEY WERE PRESENTED. THE STAFF WERE KIND AND CARED FOR THE CUSTOMER AND WE THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!!!! I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO GO!!!!

06/01/2026: Good selection of dishes, very cost efficient. We had swordfish and pizza. Meal sizes are large. Very responsive waiters. Would visit again.

04/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner with appetizers and fish main courses. Prompt and precise service. Delicious dishes and generous portions. The dessert was a surprise: eight mini cannoli on a Sicily-shaped tray.

28/12/2025: We went for lunch. The fixed price was a starter, two first courses, two second courses, fruit, dessert, wine, and water. After each course, they asked if we wanted more. We had a great time; everything was delicious, and the place was very chic and welcoming. The hostess was very nice, as was the table service. I recommend it!

07/10/2025: My favorite restaurant! I've been going here since 2019, and I immediately knew it was a place that made a difference! The menu has a wide selection: excellent pizza, delicious and unique restaurant dishes. The highlight is the SUSHI! The best I've ever eaten! This year, when I started planning my wedding, I immediately contacted Dario and Egizia, the owners, because I absolutely wanted to celebrate at and with them! The expectations were high, and they lived up to them and beyond! Of course, sushi was a must; I've seen people who have always had a negative opinion about sushi eat it! My guests were amazed by the quality of the lunch! San Martino de Kamerata is home to me, and I'll continue to go there to try all their dishes! I highly recommend anyone who doesn't know it to eat there; it will become a fixation for you too! Dario Egizia ❤️

14/10/2025: First, be careful, it's hidden and you could sneak into the other one. You walk in and it feels like you're entering the Titanic's dining room, a little intimidating. I was worried about my wallet. The food is 10 points! And the price is even better! The service is fantastic, even the water in your glass, and they give you house oil with homemade bread. If you come as a couple, you can eat on the balcony and enjoy the incredible views, not even in the best romantic movie. In the end, we only paid the bill, and they didn't give us our change. BE CAREFUL: in Sicily, they often forget the change. If it happens, it happens ;)

27/12/2025: There is an obvious intention to provide Michelin-like food, but it doesn't really work. The portions are quite small. One needs to take 3 courses to feel satiated. My husband and children took the "primi piati" and were served diiferent kinds of pasta with "traces" of meat/fish/pesto... I chose the pig medallion and a desert (a sort of biscuit with crème pâtissière and red fruit) . The first was tasty but small, the second was out of balance and presented poorly. The service was polite, but lacked warmth. Even though I spoke Italian, we were not given the attention that the local guests around us were obviously receiving. The whole experience was a bit dissapointing because, at those prices, we had high expectations which never came.

18/01/2026: I booked through Google and found it closed. I called and was told it was closed. Terrible organization. I ate there three years ago and had a very good meal, what a shame!

08/01/2026: A corner of authentic Sicilian cuisine, where every dish reflects the island's traditions. Fresh ingredients and meticulous preparation, with an excellent selection of traditional dishes. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, perfect for a relaxing dinner. Friendly and helpful service. An excellent choice for those seeking authenticity and quality.

11/01/2026: Seafood-based cuisine, limited menu They don't have raw fish The icing on the cake, €9 for a plate of white pasta for the child. Never again! Answer... unfortunately, I've been there, and the dishes were average, not bad, presented at trattoria level. I repeat, a plate of white pasta for €9 with a very long wait isn't the best!

08/01/2026: Excellent, delicious, and surprisingly inexpensive (tiramisu or artichoke for €5, pasta for €14) considering the quality. They're in the Michelin Guide but without a star, I think; with a little more effort, they could easily achieve it. Very efficient service.

11/01/2026: You immediately feel at home. The owners welcome guests with a hearty and varied appetizer that showcases all the ingredients. The menu continues with excellent first courses, though they don't stand out compared to the dishes from the large grill in the dining room: a masterfully cooked mixed grill accompanied by salad and potatoes. Highly recommended for a pleasant Sunday lunch.

13/01/2026: The osteria is located on a small side street near the theater. It's a pleasant, harmonious place. The food is excellent, and there are some off-menu dishes suggested by the chef. We had a seafood salad made with fresh raw and cooked fish and a pasta dish with shrimp and bottarga—absolutely delicious. We paired our meal with a glass of white wine, but the wine selection is varied and offers a selection of interesting wineries. We finished lunch with dessert—the Sicilian cassata, which completed the deliciousness. The staff is very attentive to the customer's needs. I highly recommend it. Tourists and anyone in the area should definitely go there, you won't regret it.

06/01/2026: Located in the historic center, adjacent to the city hall and the beautiful Teatro Pirandello, the restaurant is welcoming and elegant, filled with theater posters as if it were a foyer. Service is fast and impeccable, and the dishes are simple, authentic, and unfussy. Fish is Ruga's signature dish, whether in broth, baked, or fried, the ingredients are treated to achieve excellent results. Highly recommended.

04/01/2026: Highly recommended, this family-run restaurant also boasts excellent pizza. The flavors and textures are just like those you'd find at your grandmother's house. Take advice from Francesco, the friendly host, but everything is delicious. A perfect finish with the fried ricotta and honey cassatella. (The ladies working the tables are incredibly kind and helpful.) The quality/price ratio is extraordinary. Unfortunately, the place is small, so reservations are highly recommended (not ideal for children or strollers, as it's cramped). We'll definitely be back, it's worth it.
