17/01/2025: Excellent experience...all my expectations were fulfilled, from the environment, from the welcome, from the service and obviously from the dishes! Everything was excellent, refined but "substantial"... well-finished, beautiful and truly high-quality dishes!

09/01/2025: Romani ma in vacanza in Sicilia, io e la mia compagna abbiamo cenato qui i primi giorni del nuovo anno prendendo due menù degustazione. Abbiamo scoperto un cuoco (o chef, fate voi) straordinario e veramente appassionato. Menzione d'onore per il suo tonno, il più buono mai mangiato! A mio parere gli chef si dividono tra chi lo fa per passione e chi per lavoro. Antonio lo fa per passione e questo fa tutta la differenza del mondo! Un grazie particolare al servizio, tasto dolente nei locali di tutte le grandi città, ma che in questo ristorante è professionale e cortese senza risultare invadente. L'unico aspetto negativo è che non potrò tornare a breve...!

Soy alérgica a varios ingredientes por lo que no fue fácil, primero, preparar algo y segundo, hacerlo sabroso. Sin embargo, los fideos con panceta y pinokio me robaron el corazón! Por cierto, fideos increíbles hechos desde cero. Hermoso lugar, propietarios fantásticos y amables. 5 * place! ❤️❤️❤️

12/02/2025: Nuestros propietarios Airbnb recomendaron Opera y puedo ver por qué. Cenamos aquí dos noches seguidas, regresando por segunda vez después de una fantástica primera comida. Creo que este es un restaurante familiar que ha estado en el negocio por un tiempo. Claramente se han ganado una buena reputación tanto con los lugareños como con los turistas. Andrea era nuestro camarero y era fantástico. No sé cuántos idiomas habla, pero además del italiano, definitivamente habla inglés, francés y español sin esfuerzo. Impresionante! Más allá de eso, fue un camarero fantástico, recomendando platos sobresalientes con maridaje perfecto de vinos. Un profesional. Nos alojamos con platos de marisco. La primera noche - pez espada con tomates, alcaparras, aceitunas negras, y el millefoglie con berenjena, atún y mozzarella di bufala (una especialidad siciliana). Deliciosa y magníficamente preparada con ingredientes muy frescos. La segunda noche tomé el Paccheri con camarones pequeños, tomates y friarielle (una verdura local) y mi esposo el risotto de mariscos. Terminamos con el parfait de almendras. Una vez más, todos los platos eran notables por sus ingredientes frescos y preparación reflexiva y eran fabulosos! Después de la cena, Andrea nos trajo vasos complementarios del limoncello más delicioso - menos azúcar y alcohol que la mayoría y más adelante sabor de limón. Lo mejor que he tenido. Recomiendo encarecidamente Opera!

The menu varies between land and sea; the choice ranges from various dishes, all well made although not reaching excellent levels. However, the risotto is really very good and so is the red mullet fillet. Good choice of wines, mainly Sicilian. Very precise, fast and kind service. Correct bill for what we got.

06/09/2024: Sconsiglio questo locale. Cibo non di grande qualità e cucinato non in modo appropriato (carne di maiale cruda e frittura di calamari secca e porosa). Purtroppo ci siamo recati in questo ristorante perché consigliato dalle recensioni, ma per la prima volta in tutta la mia vita abbiamo lasciato tutte le portate. Il quartiere riqualificato è molto carino, ma la cucina avrebbe bisogno di una marcia in più. peccato.

25/01/2025: We waited for this restaurant to reopen after vacation because the menu seemed interesting. Very satisfied with the starter: fantasy of the sea (apart from the fish carpaccio which was very watery). The pistachio bar, on the other hand, was quite disappointing. Beautiful presentation, fish in wallet with crushed pistachios. But the fish flesh is not very soft and the pistachios add nothing in terms of flavor. And even though the restaurant had just reopened, there was no longer the dessert I wanted. As for the service, between the waiter who seemed to carry all the misery of the world on his shoulders, the chef who gave all his attention to local customers and the waitress who was frankly unfriendly, nothing that makes you want to repeat the experience.
