28/11/2025: This was our first tasting experience and probably my favorite meal I’ve ever had. This one is for the adventurous eaters who don’t mind raw seafood. Every single dish was incredible and so delicious. The service was unmatched. I will be thinking about this meal for a very long time.

09/11/2025: We had the 8 course tasting menu. Every dish was delicious. The portions were substantial I was full by the 5th dish. The service was exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant.

07/10/2025: My favorite restaurant! I've been going here since 2019, and I immediately knew it was a place that made a difference! The menu has a wide selection: excellent pizza, delicious and unique restaurant dishes. The highlight is the SUSHI! The best I've ever eaten! This year, when I started planning my wedding, I immediately contacted Dario and Egizia, the owners, because I absolutely wanted to celebrate at and with them! The expectations were high, and they lived up to them and beyond! Of course, sushi was a must; I've seen people who have always had a negative opinion about sushi eat it! My guests were amazed by the quality of the lunch! San Martino de Kamerata is home to me, and I'll continue to go there to try all their dishes! I highly recommend anyone who doesn't know it to eat there; it will become a fixation for you too! Dario Egizia ❤️

23/08/2025: AMAZING! A very pleasant surprise. Everyone at the table enjoyed everything. We had appetizers, traditional first courses, and sushi, and every course was truly delicious. Compliments for the cuisine and also for the friendly and fast service. Recommended!

20/11/2025: Very nice, family-friendly place. I tried an appetizer with samples of all kinds of fish and a second course of fried calamari, everything good and fresh, the owner is a very kind person, I recommend you go. I will definitely go back.

05/11/2025: Highly recommended restaurant in Agrigento. We not only enjoyed exquisite food, but the menu also featured gourmet options of exceptional quality and value. We loved everything. The atmosphere was beautiful, and Andrea was the best! His service was excellent; he was very kind and friendly, and he speaks Spanish, which allowed us to ask him anything we wanted about the dishes. It's definitely a place to visit if you want to eat well, try typical Sicilian cuisine, and enjoy a lovely evening.

12/11/2025: A nice little restaurant recommended by our host. It is in a small typical street. Waiters were friendly and English was not a problem. We have all ordered pasta which were delicious. Desserts are simple, classic and good. The room was nicely decorated.

14/10/2025: First, be careful, it's hidden and you could sneak into the other one. You walk in and it feels like you're entering the Titanic's dining room, a little intimidating. I was worried about my wallet. The food is 10 points! And the price is even better! The service is fantastic, even the water in your glass, and they give you house oil with homemade bread. If you come as a couple, you can eat on the balcony and enjoy the incredible views, not even in the best romantic movie. In the end, we only paid the bill, and they didn't give us our change. BE CAREFUL: in Sicily, they often forget the change. If it happens, it happens ;)

01/12/2025: Il Re di Girgenti is a restaurant that brings authentic Sicilian cuisine to the table, with dishes rich in tradition and freshness. The restaurant is welcoming, with a rustic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The service is friendly and professional. I tried the seafood couscous, flavorful and well-balanced, and the Sicilian-style rabbit, tender and rich in flavor. Desserts, such as cassata, are the perfect ending to a truly satisfying dinner. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes and ingredients. An excellent choice for those who love Sicilian cuisine prepared with passion and fresh ingredients.

15/09/2025: We had a lovely outdoor seating on one of the small balconies and had a lovely evening overall. During the meal, we had the impression that it was more show than substance – not a single one of the five courses on the tasting menu (€60) was truly impressive. Almost all of the dishes had dots of the same mustard cream on the plate?!? The service was polite but not warm and not always present.

12/11/2025: Excellent food and service. We ate there on both Monday and Tuesday evenings during our stay at their hotel upstairs. Both evenings are full even with locals. Aperitivo at the cocktail bar before dinner was also enjoyable with delicious cocktails. Rosanna (the owner?), bartender Salvatore as well as our waiter were extremely nice which made a big difference. Highly recommend!

21/09/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, a traditional trattoria tucked away in the alleys of Castrofilippo's historic center. The four of us sampled several homemade appetizers, two pizzas, and a schiacciata: everything was delicious and prepared with authentic simplicity. The four-cheese pizza, while flavorful, was a bit too oily. The atmosphere is pleasant and familiar; I recommend visiting especially on weekdays, when the service is more attentive and quick, while on weekends the place tends to fill up quickly.

16/10/2025: The pasta and catch of the day (Pesce dei giorno) were excellent! Very good wines. I'd be happy to go back anytime!

16/09/2025: Dinner for 4 people last night and a big disappointment. The setting is nice, the waiters do their job with a smile, but the food is unworthy of the price and expectations: a tuna tartare without any seasoning (you might as well eat plain fish at home), bland and flavorless main courses. We had the impression that everything lacked love, technique and especially taste. Too bad, because the place deserves better, but here it is clearly the food that is letting everything down.

08/11/2025: I absolutely do not recommend this place. Two hours of waiting for a very disappointing meal. The pasta was swimming in grease, and I had trouble digesting it all night. The staff was unpleasant and completely unprofessional. In short, avoid it, especially if you're not from the area.

30/11/2025: I'm sorry, but a restaurant is primarily about the food, and this was a disaster. The "Zuppata alla cozze con tomato" was simply disgusting. 🤢 The mussels smelled like they came from the worst harbor water, and some were still ice-cold 🥶 because they had probably just been thawed. I had to send almost the entire portion back. I explained that they tasted very strange, which the waitress acknowledged with an "okay." I wasn't offered an alternative or compensation, and in the end, I was charged the full price of €12. 😠 The main course wasn't a disaster, but it was a disappointment. We were promised sea bass from Lampedusa, but what we got were two measly, thawed, tasteless fillets with no bite, two slices of potato, and an unidentifiable sauce, all for €16 😖 As lovely as the waitress was, a restaurant is primarily about the food, and if something goes wrong, the customer should at least be offered compensation instead of being charged the full price. I hope the owners read this and improve their food so that future guests have better luck. We will never be back.
