25/08/2025: The trattoria advertised as the best in town was a bit of a disappointment. We tried five dishes and appetizers. The meat platter and the slow-braised lamb were very good. The rabbit pasta was tasty, although the rabbit was token. The orchette with tomato sauce was decent but not outstanding, and the eggplant lasagna wasn't to our liking. The wait for a waiter was very long, and the second bottle of water we ordered didn't arrive, but it was on the bill. And the wait for the bill...

Authentic food, like it used to be.
Each dish has the sincere flavor of home cooking tied to the local area.
All the products are locally sourced, far from the homogenizing dynamics of large-scale retail trade.
It's no coincidence that it's a Slow Food Presidium.
The menu features dishes featuring seasonal herbs and wild vegetables that you can only find here (like orecchiette with purslane, pasta with prickly pear peels, or myrtle frittatas).
A special treat: moka pot coffee accompanied by sweet taralli and candied orange peel.
Not to be missed.
25/07/2025: A quaint restaurant, with one foot in tradition and the other in innovation.
Authentic cuisine with seasonal, locally sourced products.
A blast from the past (I remember only eating bread like this at my grandmother's).
A rare philosophy worth preserving.
Excellent hospitality (Gino personally accompanies you to your table, explaining his menu and conveying his passion for his work).
Even the accessories (bread baskets, lunch boxes, etc.) are handmade.
As for the food, the appetizers would be enough, but whatever you choose, you can't go wrong (the prickly pear paddles and amaranth leaf fritters are a surprise).
We highly recommend it.

22/07/2025: Terrible owner, truly rude. The number provided on Google Maps is unreachable, and I couldn't find out if it was possible to book a table at the restaurant because the answers provided were rude and unrelated to my simple question, "Is it possible to book a table?" Not recommended for those who want to be sure of finding a table even if they're coming from far away just to try the restaurant.

Owners, I apologize if I don't remember your names, very kind.
Excellent appetizers, first course with homemade pasta, cardoncelli mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, superb.
They really deserve the compliments.
We warmly recommend if you pass by Ceglie.

17/07/2025: Un repas typique, savoureux et généreux dans une ambiance conviviale. L’osteria propose une cuisine des Pouilles authentique, avec des produits du terroir simples mais savoureux. Les orecchiette alla cime di rapa étaient excellentes, tout comme les antipasti variés et copieux. Le vin local complète parfaitement l’ensemble. Le service est attentionné. Ici, on mange bien, on se sent bien, et on repart avec le sourire. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour découvrir l'âme culinaire des Pouilles !
03/07/2025: Es ist eine familiäre und authentische Osteria mit entsprechenden pugliesischen Spezialitäten. Was wir als sehr schön empfunden haben, ist die kleine Karte mir den typischen traditionellen Gerichten sowie einem Tagesgericht (welches sich tatsächlich als zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte darstellte).
In der Seitengasse gibt es einige Tische ansonsten sitzt man gemütlich im Kellergewölbe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und gaben sehr gute Erinnerungen an unseren Abend!
