MONALDO makes you feel at home, attentive to every need, and follows you every step of the way. They're like family and make you feel and understand all the love they put into their work. Phenomenal food, Marco is number one. If there were 10 stars, we'd give it 11. Specials

01/01/2026: Located near the beautiful Piazza del Popolo, the restaurant seats about forty people indoors (I recommend booking to secure a table, given the limited number of seats). This elegant and historic venue offers fast and professional service. I especially recommend the guinea fowl with truffles, the beef stew with Piceno red wine, and the truffle carpaccio. Excellent value: 5 stars!

31/01/2026: I didn't stay, so I can't comment on the rooms. Excellent service, fast and always courteous. The food is excellent, but I stopped at the appetizers because they were so generous. I'll be back to try the other courses! The location was beautiful, despite the adverse weather—another reason to return!

The owner, Leonardo, is a veritable whirlwind of ideas and suggestions: we'll be back to try the escape room.

24/02/2026: "The Artist's Tavern is a treasure chest hiding enchanting treasures." In the center of Montelupone, a village that perfectly preserves its medieval origins and is meticulously cared for by its residents, there is a restaurant (also a B&B, Escape Room, and gourmet shop) run by Leonardo, a host and multifaceted artist of exceptional creativity mixed with pragmatism. Specializing in risottos, we tried three types: beetroot and Taleggio DOP; saffron, cod, and chives; and black truffle and porcini mushrooms. All truly excellent!!! We were also impressed by the appetizer, a generous selection of local cured meats and typical fried foods from the Marche region. We were hosted in a splendid frescoed room, but each room holds surprises that evoke the ancient history of those who inhabited those spaces. The menu is extensive, and we will definitely return to try new dishes, preceded by a game session with a mysterious backstory in the Escape Room. Last but not least, a word of praise goes to the kind and professional staff.

04/03/2026: Wonderful place, call it what you will. Osteria, trattoria, restaurant... the food is divine, the service is cheerful and attentive, and everyone laughs and feels at home. Very fair prices and a well-deserved 5-star rating.

07/01/2026: Excellent restaurant located within the buildings of the Chiaravalle di Fiastra Abbey, near Tolentino. I couldn't fault anything; the atmosphere was simple yet elegant, and the service was fast, courteous, and helpful. Excellent value. I recommend the truffle carbonara, which is very creamy and features crispy, flavorful bacon. The Ascoli olives and desserts are also very good. The arrosticini were nothing special.
