18/03/2025: Famous for the use of truffles and porcini mushrooms, I wanted to try the polenta with porcini mushroom and truffle sauce, unfortunately the polenta for my taste was too liquid and unbound as well as very bland, the sauce was quite good but also a little bland. I tasted the risotto always with porcini mushrooms and grated truffle and this was done well but still lacked a bit of salt, it must be the chef's choice to add little salt to his dishes. Lastly, a mixed grill with lamb chops, sausage and pork steak. Decent ribs, very tasty and tasty sausage while the steak was overcooked and dry. Friendly and kind staff. Room divided into several rooms with a covered veranda divided from the outside with plastic sheets. The restaurant is located in the historic center of a small village, Montelupone, which is very well kept and welcoming and is worth a visit.

10/03/2025: Good food, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The chef is also present in the room, which allowed me to ask a couple of questions about the food, and being celiac it was useful because I was able to have gluten free options. Honest prices. For the fifth star I will return when I pass through Urbino again!

03/03/2025: A wonderful experience in the typical Marche gastronomy. Excellent dishes, from appetizer to dessert, really high quality raw materials (even the stewed vegetables, in their simplicity, were excellent!). The vincisgrassi are mouth-watering, almost like an encore! Highly recommended

04/03/2025: I have lived in Italy off and on over the past 40 years. This Is a genuinely authentic, good value, trattoria with un tocco in più. Something extra. Just lovely to eat in a place that has a sense of continuity. The continuity of damn fine Italian cuisine. Low Key, no bullshit décor, Just very comfortable and easy.

01/03/2025: Truly delicious food! We had not made a reservation, but we were given a table anyway. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended, although it is smart to call in advance.

24/02/2025: Sunday in February with friends visiting the garden of infinity and in the afternoon guided tour of three churches. The place was nice with just a few tables. The Marche joke and the parmigiana with burrata were excellent, too bad the ricotta dessert was finished. Not exactly the fastest service but it's a tavern so it's friendly and the prices are correct. I'll be back!!!

29/01/2025: I booked regularly with thefork. Unfortunately when I arrived the restaurant was closed. I called the restaurateur and he told me they only open in the evening. That's not correct.....

04/01/2025: We come to San Claudio regularly to eat when we are visiting the area. Friendly service, great atmosphere/location and the food is unbeatable. Price-performance absolutely fair.

09/03/2025: I liked the place when I first came and I continue to like it. Homemade pasta, for example. Jams served with cheese. The truffle added to a wide variety of dishes... tagliatelle, omelette, croutons... Even today we had a wonderful meal under the attentive and welcoming gaze of the lady who served us. It's a shame, however, that the table is attached to the bathroom...today we ran into a gentleman who unfortunately wasn't well and we weren't even able to get coffee, we were in such a hurry to leave. Perhaps it would be better not to place a table so close to the services even if the space in the room below is limited and the requests are many... it's a shame, we would have liked to enjoy our meal more peacefully (which was also good).

04/03/2025: Finita la visita alle grotte di Frasassi, cercavamo un posto per un pranzo veloce. E invece abbiamo trovato questo posticino a conduzione familiare, con cucina tipica e pasta fatta in casa. Tutto molto molto buono

La cura, l'attenzione, il sorriso, sono qui ingredienti altrettanto importanti di quelli che Tiziana, in cucina, manipola con grande esperienza.
