12/08/2024: Family restaurant that has been run for generations and serves traditional dishes. Trofie al Pesto is highly recommended and definitely try homemade limoncello. Everything is freshly made and delicious. The staff is super friendly and the prices are totally humane. Attention...the restaurant is only open at lunchtime! We'll be back😊

26/07/2024: It was our first day in Liguria, we stopped at this place and we could speak just in superlatives. The food was amazing, very good prices, home made pesto, extremely tasty, very good deserts too. The stuff was super friendly. Also our kids loved the place snd the atmosphere. 27/06/2024: Nel borgo Castello di Loano, un posto un pò "fatato"...Abbiamo mangiato ravioli di pesce con limone e nocciole, poi coniglio alla ligure e rolata di coniglio, tutto con un buon vermentino. Da riprovare, questo inverno.

01/09/2024: A 'must-do' when you are in Savona. A lively restaurant with top quality food at a reasonable price. Friendly and professional staff and fast service despite the crowds. And then the food: lots of choice and very tasty!! We took the local specialty Ligurian Trofie Pesto and the mussels. Excellent!! On our next visit to Savona we will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

14/08/2024: The grilled and raw fish are wonderful, even the most sophisticated dishes are always very successful, with raw materials of the highest quality. A refined and elegant environment, a very pleasant outdoor area in summer. Excellent value for money.

14/08/2024: Excellent quality, carefully prepared dishes, attentive to detail and highly refined with very particular combinations. I have never found a place with such quality cuisine that served such generous portions, really really generous portions. I've already been several times and every time there is something new on the menu to try. Cacio e pepe with tuna tartare, seafood carbonara, octopus amatriciana. Everything delicious. The seared tuna was one of the best I have ever eaten with a combination of excellent sauces and excellent contrast. The desserts are also excellent. The desserts are exceptional. The one in the photo was a three layer with coffee cream, caramel and Chantilly if I remember correctly. Every time the expense fluctuated between 35 and 40 euros per person (eating plenty of fish, to remember).

27/06/2024: Che dire ... abbiamo cenato alla Familiare in occasione del nostro anniversario di nozze ... mangiato molto bene,ma la cosa che rende questo luogo speciale è la gentilezza dei proprietari Pietro e Milly, la cura dei dettagli e la cucina che ti propone piatti gustosissimi e soprattutto una selezione di vini eccellenti Bravi!

16/08/2024: Very bad experience although it is not the first time that we have visited this establishment. For August 15 we reserved 1 1/2 months in advance with CC for confirmation. We arrived and got a table in the second line which meant we weren't going to see the fireworks except by moving outside. We ask to change places and we are told that it is not possible. We order a plate of "allo scoglio" pasta, an octopus and mashed potato and a plate of patanegra as a starter and a sea bass fish of approximately 900gr/1kg after having made us choose it (no confirmation of weight has been received by us) we let’s choose “al sale” cooking. After 5 minutes the pasta, patanegra and octopus arrive which surprises us in the speed of preparation. The hot dishes were almost cold. It surprised us but we were hungry so we didn't say anything. The patanegra was served in a dish for €27 per portion and we realized without having tasted it that it was vacuum-packed when in a restaurant of this level you expect cutting with a knife. The evening continues, we receive 4 empty hot plates and two plates (there were 4 of us) with fish and vegetables. We ask why we have 2 plates and the waitress tells us that’s how it is! We say that we did not ask for two plates but that the fish was for 4 so we wanted 4 plates, we are told that that is how it is and that is normal. We take the opportunity to tell the waitress that we didn't even see the cooked fish and the cleaning of it and take the opportunity to tell her about the starters which arrived more than lukewarm. She leaves and arrives the master of the room really really AUTAIN in his answers going so far as to say that "we perhaps had something to hide because he had nothing to hide". Amazing. We ask for what reason a tray with cooked fish from another table just passed in front of us, shown to the customers and cleaned in front of them and we got a completely different treatment. The response was that he had no answer to give us. Scandalous response. Given the quantity on the two plates we are not sure that this is the fish we ordered. Very very very bad experience. We did not expect such poor service. And I do not intend to return or advertise as I was able to do before this disastrous evening.

14/08/2024: Very suggestive sea view location! The high quality of the food both in terms of the choice of raw materials and the various cooking methods are perceived in every dish. There were small errors in the service which however they were able to handle in a professional and friendly manner. It is certainly a place to be in peace and enjoy a beautiful evening. A negative note: as a non-smoker we were sitting on the terrace next to a table of smokers, smelling cigarettes while you are enjoying your spaghetti with clams is not exactly ideal. It would be very kind if you prohibited the consumption of cigarettes also because the terrace is not huge and not even completely open so that smoking does not cause problems for anyone.

12/08/2024: The location overlooking the sea is really excellent, with the windows open you could hear the sound of the waves and it was very romantic. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food is impeccable, we loved every dish and would go back every time I pass through Alassio. The best seafood risotto I've ever eaten! Very recommended!

09/08/2024: Of course, dear reader, I would now like to share with you my impressions of a restaurant I recently visited in Italy. It was on a warm summer evening when I crossed the threshold of the establishment that connoisseurs of the culinary arts had praised as a pearl in the wealth of what was on offer. And indeed, the splendor of the dishes on offer, prepared with such finesse and precision that even the most discerning palate could find no cause for complaint, awakened in me the deepest feeling of satisfaction. The starters, consisting of antipasti of such freshness and richness that reflected the essence of Italian cuisine in its purest form, opened the dance of delights. This was followed by a Primo Piatto, whose al dente cooked pasta, covered in a sugo that was so full-bodied and harmonious that one could taste the sunshine and earth of Italy in its fullness of flavor, far exceeded my expectations. The secondo piatto, a delicately prepared piece of fish whose delicacy and delicacy made each bite a small epiphany, also completed the picture of a cuisine that, in its perfection, would be worthy of philosophical consideration. However, and here I come to a point that I regret to mention, the experience as a whole failed to reach the heights of transcendental bliss that it promised in culinary terms. The service, which in such an establishment acts as an intermediary between the work of the cook and the person enjoying it, was deficient to an extent that not only significantly disrupted the joy of the moment, but also the harmony of the whole. The servants of this house, whose duty it is to act with care and courtesy, displayed a kind of carelessness and indifference that is difficult to excuse. Not only was the wine only served after repeated requests, but the answers to polite inquiries were characterized by such brevity and impatience that one found oneself in an atmosphere of discomfort that completely contradicts the purpose of such a noble establishment. In addition, the significant delay in service led to long waiting times between courses, which significantly slowed down the flow of the meal and noticeably reduced the enjoyment of the food. Here, dear readers, we are presented with an instructive parable: Even the most exquisite pleasures of the palate require external, mediating conditions in order to fully develop their effect. Where service fails, even the chef's masterpiece loses its appeal and the sensual pleasure that the food could give us remains incomplete. It is therefore to be hoped that those responsible for this restaurant will be able to resolve this obvious discrepancy between cuisine and service as soon as possible so that the overall experience, as philosophy dictates, no longer falls short of the limits of perfection.

09/08/2024: We returned again this summer, bringing new friends. Excellent price/quality ratio. Varied cuisine for all palates of good quality and not skimping on quantity. We dined with still and fruity loose white "ribolla" of good drink to savor fish, starters and white meats. Homemade desserts with a special mention of stuffed peaches. To finish, two alcoholic cicchettini with pernambucco and herbs.....we will return as soon as possible and with great pleasure. Quality at the right priceDario R Torino

28/08/2024: Definitely retro atmosphere but it has its reason and it works. Attentive and helpful service. Excellent raw materials! If I could, I would have given the breaded anchovies 10 stars. Tasty and masterfully fried without drying them out. The lime and ginger sorbet is worth it. Definitely advantageous prices compared to the quality offered. Definitely coming back.

27/08/2024: I was there this summer with my partner. One of the trattorias in Finale Liguria that maintain authenticity while allowing you to savor typical Ligurian flavors and traditions. Excellent value for money, fresh food cooked by expert hands. The simple but typically well-kept location is also very nice, the owner is friendly and the staff is more than helpful. I highly recommend it.

22/07/2024: Ristorantino piccolo con l'aggiunta di qualche tavolino all'esterno. Previsto doppio turno che specificano al momento della prenotazione. Ieri sera abbiamo ordinato una lasagna ligure dai gusti molto bilanciati,spaghetti alla chitarra con sugo di gamberi, scampi, pesto di pistacchi, speck e pecorino che erano la fine del mondo. Come secondo un saccottino di carne al basilico, con speck e brie accompagnato da patatine dippers. Ottimo anche il vino della casa. Ingredienti di qualità. Piatti molto abbondanti per cui vale la pena aspettare qualche minuto in più per il servizio. Amaro tipico ligure offerto, conto finale corretto. Continuerà ad essere sicuramente una tappa fissa. 21/07/2024: Locale di piccole dimensioni, ma ben organizzato. Bagno molto pulito, dotato di tutte le dotazioni per il lavaggio delle mani e utilizzo wc. Personale molto gentile ed efficiente. Prezzi leggermente alti, considerando la tipologia del locale (tovagliette e tovaglioli in carta). I piatti che abbiamo consumato, a base di materie prime di buona qualità, presentavano qualche errore di preparazione (pasta leggermente scotta, il pesce presente nel condimento non era completamente diliscato). Nell’insieme i piatti erano buoni ma niente di speciale.

27/07/2024: Coppia di amici in zona per una gara sportiva e non conoscendo il posto ci siamo fatti consigliare. Che dire, locale molto carino dove si mangia veramente bene, antipasto-primo-secondo-dolce caffè e amaro, tutto buonissimo ad un prezzo giusto, onestissimo , il tutto servito da gentilezza, cortesia e sorrisi. Scoprire in questo modo posti nuovi è sempre bellissimo…Grazie !

15/07/2024: The place full of charm, the service and many dishes deserve full marks, but it is good to be a little critical because it takes a lot of money spent before going back. I really enjoyed the fresh homemade pasta and the convivial style.
