02/12/2025: Small restaurant located in a "carrugietto" very close to the most famous "budello" of Alassio. Essential menu, traditional Ligurian dishes (the ones our grandmothers used to prepare for us...). Professional and courteous service. Excellent purple gnocchi with octopus and dried tomatoes, very good "ciuppin". A special mention goes to the "prescinseua" cheesecake. Reservations are recommended. We'll be back!

06/04/2026: It was my first experience at La Vigna di Alassio. The family of four who took me couldn't wait to show me this place: a fantastic view, a refined setting, a restaurant where—from what I'd been told—the food is good. The start, indeed, was promising: a welcoming atmosphere, attention to detail, a menu that's not banal despite it not being a Michelin-starred restaurant. Unfortunately, expectations were disappointed as the evening went on. Already when I ordered, at 7:30 PM (first evening sitting), two out of five appetizers were unavailable. This can happen with fish, but with so few orders, it's perplexing. The appetizers were the highlight: good, well-executed, and appreciated by everyone, including one celiac in the group, who had no problems. This is definitely a plus. The first courses, however, were a bit disappointing. • Spaghetti with seafood: average, without any particular flaws. • Seafood risotto (ordered for just two people): completely bland, with overcooked rice and flavorless fish. One of the two people denied eating a little because they were hungry, while the other didn't even touch it, leaving the rest in the pan where it was served. • Rabbit-filled agnolotti: these were also overcooked, soft, and with an unconvincing sauce. When we reported it, the response we received was "it's a matter of taste." This phrase, given the objectively poorly executed dishes, is quite disconcerting. The service also seemed inattentive: rushed, careless serving, and overall management not in keeping with the type of establishment. Desserts and coffee: average to poor, nothing memorable. On a positive note: the person with celiac disease, even from contamination, had no problems, and this is certainly to be acknowledged. When we reached the cashier, we politely reported what had happened. A simple apology was offered, limited only to the risotto, but without any commercial gesture, despite the fact that three people had not actually eaten their dishes. It's not about demanding a discount, but rather a matter of customer service: when multiple courses are problematic, even a small warning would have been appropriate. It's a restaurant that will continue to operate thanks to its location and reputation, but as far as I'm concerned, it will be the last time. It's a shame, because with a view like this and such high expectations, it wouldn't take much to offer a completely different experience. Above all, I'm disappointed by how the situation was handled. We'll go elsewhere.

01/04/2026: Easy to find near the port, this restaurant is very typical and welcoming. The kitchen is open so you can watch the chef prepare perfectly cooked pasta with delicious sauces. The ingredients are very fresh and the atmosphere is very friendly.

21/08/2025: Easy to get to (less than a 10-minute drive from the coast). Private parking. The interior is cozy and comfortable, complemented by a lovely terrace for al fresco summer dining. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The cuisine is amazing, with both seafood and meat dishes. Everything is delicious, but the capon magro and fish soup are truly exceptional. The wine list is well-stocked and perfectly complements the menu. Excellent value. Simply ESSENTIAL.

28/12/2025: Low rating, even though the food was really good, because I had the distinct feeling that I was charged 17 euros for a bottle of wine that cost 10 euros... And not by mistake.... I'll be back to check it out. Two for the service because the waiter, or whoever he was, could have even half-smiled. Two for the atmosphere because the tables are right next to each other.

The very kind owner agreed to wait for us and greeted us in an exemplary manner. The staff was very kind and helpful. The quality of the products was truly excellent. We'll definitely visit again, perhaps more slowly. From the phone calls I received while I was there, I think it's advisable to book beforehand.
