13/01/2024: Prenotato un tavolo per due persone a pranzo, in una giornata feriale nelle festività di fine anno. Ambiente un po' caotico, piccolo, con tavoli molto ravvicinati. Possibilità di pranzare con menu a prezzo fisso, comunque con ampia scelta. Piatti tipici, cucinati bene. Prezzi onesti.
10/01/2024: La riscoperta - piacevolissima - della vecchia, cara trattoria. Mangiare semplice, ma buono, in un ambiente altrettanto semplice e tuttavia assai pulito. Il tutto accompagnato, cosa non comune per Sanremo, dalla cortesia del titolare. Insomma: da andarci e tornarci

04/11/2023: After traveling through Croatia and Italy for 2 weeks, this was by far the best meal we ate. The 10 of us ordered the tasting menu which was plentiful and deliciously interesting (the 1st time I had braised rabbit!). Our host and owner, Donatello, was so gracious and willing to tell us about how everything we ate, including the white, rosé and red wine and the olive oil, was all raised/grown/produced on his family farm. I would return to San Lorenzo al Mare on the Italian Riviera just to dine there again!
29/10/2023: This was one of the most remarkable dining experiences we've ever had in Italy. Donatello was a gracious host and offered a family style meal for a group of 10, starting with gazpacho and eggplant parmesan followed by delicious seafood dishes, roasted rabbit, and fresh salad. The lemon sorbet was the perfect dessert and Donatello sheared his family wines throughout the entire meal. The service was prompt, courteous, professional and warm and when we received the bill, we were flabbergasted to find that this set menu was 45 Euros/person! Oh, and the restaurant is located in the family's converted olive oil pressing mill...Charming!

18/03/2024: Good food and great staff. The acoustics are such that it becomes exceptionally noisy when full, which was a shame because there was a lovely concert on with a harp player, a multi instrumentalist and singer but could hardly hear them.
24/11/2023: Well-prepared local cuisine, excellent wines, polite and courteous service.

14/01/2024: Cibo squisito , personale molto gentile e disponibile, ambiente caldo e accogliente. Ampio parcheggio gratuito di fronte . Ci ritorneremo .
02/11/2023: Un accueil chaleureux réservé par le maitre de ces lieux qui prend le temps de vous expliquer en français la carte et les menus proposés, des assiettes généreuses aux mets savoureux faits maison, un cuisinier très sympathique qui nous a invités à se rendre dans la cusine pour voir la confection à la main des pâtes diverses et variées. Nous reviendrons assurément les déguster un jour. Merci encore pour tout !
