10/04/2025: We recently dined at this restaurant, which offers good Italian food but at an overly high price. You can find similar or better dishes at other good restaurants in Santa Margherita for half the cost. Some reviews suggest it's "almost Michelin level," but in reality, it falls far short of that standard. We started with scallops, which were decent but not on par with gourmet standards. The octopus as a second course was underwhelming and chewy, with presentation that lacked finesse. However, the desserts—Neapolitan tart and cheesecake—were excellent and the only dishes that approached a gourmet level. The service was disappointing; our waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and wine list, possibly her first day on the job. The atmosphere was okay but not impressive. Overall, the food was good (4 stars), but the prices were not justified (2 stars). We won't return due to the high cost for average, non-gourmet food.

15/04/2025: A cult for Santa, right in the center, excellent cuisine and varied choice, very convivial atmosphere, a real trattoria with staff who are always courteous and welcoming. I go there often, it has a good value for money for couples, families and groups of friends. Highly recommended! Next to the restaurant there is also an excellent delicatessen for high quality takeaways and local products.

14/04/2025: Pure disappointment – ​​absolutely not recommended! I seriously wonder how this restaurant gets such good reviews - either they are fake or people have completely different expectations. The staff was completely overwhelmed and seemed haphazard and disinterested. You felt more like a nuisance than a guest. The food came in under five minutes - which should have been a warning sign. And indeed: carelessly prepared like in a school canteen, the taste is absolutely disappointing. The wine - which was served after the meal - tasted cheap.

23/04/2025: Our experience at Baicin was a bit unpleasant. The pasta was good, but we didn't expect the portion of parmesan to be forcefully put on our plate by the owner. It is not hygienic and normal to have served like this, it seems that the pandemic has not educated some people. Those little details that make the difference and make the customer feel welcome were missing. It was nice and tasteful to be asked if he left the parmesan on the table. We travel a lot, but I have never seen such an incident before. The prices are a bit high for what is offered. Understandably, the tourist area makes the price. We won't be back as they don't communicate effectively with the customer.

22/04/2025: From the outside this restaurant looked like any other restaurant, but once inside everything changes: delicious food, fast service, beautiful environment. Very friendly and professional staff. I really liked the Baicin restaurant. I recommend it to you.

04/04/2025: Consiglio questo ristorante per il cibo squisito, sia terra che mare, per la gentilezza della cameriera e, non da meno, il rapporto qualità prezzo (molto onesto). Ringrazio per la torta e gli auguri in musica per il compleanno di mio papà.

01/04/2025: Very good food and in quantity. Nice environment without being luxurious, but well looked after. Excellent service: the girl who looked after the room was always very kind, always in a hurry and always with a smile. Too good and efficient. We will be back.
