12/08/2025: A welcoming restaurant, the food is always excellent and top-quality. The owner herself takes your orders and explains how they're made. Worth a try, both the first and second courses are excellent. Recommended. Plenty of space outside, too. There was a birthday party going on when I was there, and there was no problem with waiting for food.

03/08/2025: Nothing to complain about about the atmosphere, and especially the food. However, from such a renowned place, we would have expected more professionalism: Stopping outside for an aperitif, we asked to come in because it was decidedly cold. It was 6:30 PM, but no one was rightly considering dinner at this hour. From the kitchen, we heard someone commenting loudly in dialect: "Look, they have to come at 6:30 for dinner." Definitely a fall from grace...

05/07/2025: We spent a nice evening in this restaurant. Very attentive waiters. They immediately offered us champagne and a small appetizer as a "welcome". We took a "tris" for antipasti, two main courses, two glasses of wine and sorbet. The trio for an appetizer also included alici. I'm sorry, but this is the only dish that I didn't like at all. The fish was loose and not tasty. But for the second course, the lamb baked in the oven was simply magnificent! Very tasty, melted in the mouth. The roe deer meat was also very tasty. We were pleasantly surprised by the compliment from the restaurant in the form of sweet wine and sweets. A very good Merlot wine. But the Refosque was not so good. But this of course depends on personal taste. Overall, everything went great.

24/06/2025: Good food. The first time we were 4 people and a first course arrived after everyone had finished eating. The waiter was very apologetic. The second time we were 5 and since 3 people had ordered a first course and 2 a second course (same second course) we asked if it was possible for the courses to arrive all together and we were told that it was impossible. The waiting time for coffee was really excessive...we had to ask for it 3 times.

06/08/2025: Absolutely excellent choice, highly recommended if you're in Cividale! We left very satisfied and happy with our choice! The attention to children was greatly appreciated (it's the first time it's happened to us that as soon as we arrive they ask us if we want to order a quick dish for our 2-year-old son and even bring him toys and drawing paper). The atmosphere was very nice and the food was excellent! Friendly and helpful staff :)

16/08/2025: A welcoming, small but delightful place, the staff are knowledgeable in the presentation of the dishes and attentive to every request. Each course is a pure joy, we are transported back to childhood when our grandmother or mother cooked us dishes that were then masterpieces that only they were capable of making. Essentially, the chef puts his heart into what he does and the result is excellent, I will gladly return.

24/08/2025: While visiting Trieste in search of traditional dishes, we stopped at this osteria, and it was a wonderful discovery! ✨ The place is rustic and welcoming, with a warm, family atmosphere. The lady who runs it, despite being alone, was incredibly kind and efficient. We ordered the salami with vinegar and the frico with polenta: generous portions and incredibly tasty, so much so that two dishes were enough for two. The handwritten menu adds a touch of authenticity and makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The prices are very fair, more than fair for the quality and quantity. An authentic place, far from the usual tourist destinations, where you can enjoy authentic Trieste cuisine with simplicity and authenticity. Highly recommended! 🍴💛

10/08/2025: Excellent experience! I booked the same day through their service, and received a confirmation via WhatsApp within 10 minutes. The food and drinks were excellent. The table service was professional and warm. The price was fair. Thanks to the staff and the lovely waitress.
