06/11/2024: I would like to know the people who gave 5 stars to this restaurant and who defined it as the best AYCE Japanese restaurant where they ate in Florence. This restaurant from the location, to the food, to the service, to the menu etc in any aspect is AWFUL. PS: Reply to the owner's response. Nobody expected anything special. Without any hard feelings EVERYTHING we mentioned was highly POOR and inferior to 90% of the AYCE Japanese restaurants we frequent. Having said that, I wish you the best of luck at work and I hope that this review can stimulate you to raise your standards.

03/11/2024: I don't know how you are used to eating, reading reviews "the best Japanese..." gives me shivers. Ok the price is really really low but here quality and decency are at an all-time low. Sticky rice. Raw with no flavor. Order still to be written on the leaflet like 15 years ago. An incredible stench. Supermarket wine at €1.50 sold for €12 I don't continue... Absolutely better to spend €10 more!!!!

19/05/2025: what the helly??? what did i just eat… we got the nagmeun (terrible), sundubu (water with gochugaru), jaeyuk (literally slices of bacon drenched in sesame oil). holy cow… never had worse korean food, but i guess this is what you should expect at a korean restaurant in italy 🤷🏻‍♂️ save yourself the money and don’t come here. they also charge you 3 euros for side dishes.

16/05/2025: It was a time when I really needed a Korean food transfusion Kimchi stew (15 euros) and stir-fried pork (16.8 euros) They were delicious 🥹🥹 They said rice comes with the stew So I ordered another bowl of rice~~ (The cost of side dishes for 2 people was 3 euros)

16/05/2025: I went with a friend of mine to this sushi to spend a nice day. The atmosphere is not great but nice, the service is the bare minimum even though you have to use your phone notes to order because they don't even use paper, the wait for the dishes is fair. Food: Hosomaki made badly, they weren't even closed properly. Hair inside the sweet and sour sauce, Temaki with an inedible seaweed (much better to eat the cardboard from the boxes), everything else tasteless, every single piece eaten had no flavor. Finally at the cash register I had to wait 2/3 minutes to receive the change, since they didn't have the change to give me.

16/05/2025: ⚠️HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. First of all, let's start with the compliments: a really nice environment. The interior was really nice so my expectations were sky high. The only delicious thing were the ravioli but you know how it is... How long does it take to defrost and fry two ravioli? Let's move on to the negative things. No tablet or paper on which you can write down the dishes you want but only waiters who pass by that you had to stop to get their attention. Sushi was pathetic to say the least for the flavors then it will be my thought, absolutely but comparing it to many other sushi places where I have been (of which I still have to put the reviews) this was absolutely the worst of the worst. Salmon nigiri flambé made with... Venus rice (?) huh? pan rabbits that seemed like monsters as well as the flavor so much so that we sent them back. Poor quality salmon. I was so disappointed by this experience that I had to do it again and went to Sakura in via Fiorentina, Legaccioni. When you go to the usual sushi place, it's not because it's "the best" but because you haven't tried better. I would be here to give you a list of sushi that is definitely more sushi than this one. Umi di Ponte a Ema, Ukiyo di Osmannoro, Miho also Osmannoro... Do me a favor... Tokio, absolutely out of context. PS. I would have published the review later but apparently, they don't believe I actually went there so, without further ado: ✨Here are the photos✨ (admire the one with the sauce especially.) PPS. Before making my friend pay, the boy/cook called another gentleman who looked at us confused and asked us: "did you pay?" I said: "I did, my friend didn't" and he said: "and how much do you have to pay?" I mean seriously? If you don't know, you who work there...

02/04/2025: Excellent sushi, already when it was à la carte it was TOP now that it has become AYCE nothing has changed it is amazing it is the best sushi in the whole area.

10/03/2025: 5 stars on everything! Sushi Elis is in my opinion the best you can eat for value for money in Empoli. It's a small, welcoming place and the owner is wonderful. The Sushi is very good, we tried the Chinese one a few times and we liked that too.

13/04/2025: Nice place but... small detail, on the plate of Cantonese rice I found a small dead insect which I then put aside in the napkin... it could have been a mistake and the insect found itself there by mistake but whoever cooked the dish could perhaps have taken a look at it before having it delivered. Nothing against the waiters and chefs but maybe next time take a good look at the dish... me being with the sisters and moreover on our father's birthday we didn't say anything to avoid making the father go out upset and angry on his birthday. Nice atmosphere but I won't go back.

08/04/2025: We waited an eternity and some dishes never arrived. If you know you have already seated too many customers, don't take any more! We even spent €15 each for eating nothing. The grilled meat ravioli were frozen inside and when they brought them back they almost looked like they had been baked in the oven. I will never go back there again.

30/04/2025: For me and the people close to me this has been a permanent place for years now! I really like the food, especially their ramen! Tried and tried elsewhere but the best and most consistent ramen can be found here!

09/03/2025: Locale spazioso, pulito e illuminato , cibo buono e le ordinazioni arrivano in maniera tempestiva. Cosa importante, visto che è in una zona molto centrale di Novoli, la prenotazione. Se prenotate in anticipo non avrete mai problemi! Nota importante, i bagni sono sempre profumati e lindi.

08/04/2025: The experience was particularly bad. I ordered several meals but they were not served. It was not a limited-edition dish, but a limited number of sashimi. Each person was limited to twelve pieces. If you ordered this dish, you could not order another one. The service attitude was very poor, and the front desk service was also very poor and unreasonable. Moreover, I saw that the sashimi slices on the next table were very small. They were less than half of what I had eaten at other places. The experience was very bad. I couldn’t stay after a drink.

19/05/2025: bad attitude. Get there half an hour before closing time. The owner didn’t even answer the question of whether I could get a quick takaway and turned his back on me. Very bad attitude. It says it closes at 3 o'clock, I arrived at 2:30 and asked if I could take it away instead of eating in the store. The owner just turned his head and didn't answer and drove me away. Even if I came late, at least the attitude should be better, right?

13/05/2025: The business hours say 10pm and then off work, so you can't eat at 9pm. I arrived at 9pm and asked if I could eat. The chef said when will it be off work? I can't take away either. The kitchen is understaffed and there's no contact number.
