27/05/2025: I have been working in the same street for 9 years and for all this time this restaurant has been a point of reference for the quality of the dishes, the research and respect for tradition, the correctness of the prices, the genuine and spontaneous friendliness of all the staff! Learning of the closure of this point of reference for Chinese cuisine present for over 30 years is immensely sad and makes you reflect on the too harsh and almost absurd law of the real estate market in Florence, which favors businesses that close every 12 months rather than loyal tenants.
Good luck to all the staff and the owner Massimo with the hope that this change brings more beautiful news! I hope to see you soon!!
24/05/2025: We really enjoyed our meals here! The curry and noodles was a first for us but quite good, the chicken fried rice had a good mix of veggies and egg, the sweet and sour chicken was light and crisp and the pineapple sauce was great, not cloyingly sweet and dyed red as it generally is in the US. The beef and broccoli was flavorful and beautifully cooked. We had a big group and shared the dishes, ended up ordering a few more bc the portions were appropriate for 1 serving and not the huge, too much serving as is the case at home. Not expensive. Try it!

20/01/2026: Excellent dishes. I asked for wheat flour to be omitted from my meals, and the lady was very kind! I ordered everything to go, and the delivery guy is very friendly! There are more than 10 seats, and the place is air-conditioned. I highly recommend it!
12/11/2025: The food was quite good, it's a shame that the portions are significantly smaller than other Chinese takeaways in Florence, as well as the prices are higher.

28/11/2025: The best Chinese restaurant in Florence, for what it's worth! The appetizers are the best, especially the spring rolls. I often order takeout; they're quick and cheap. I've also eaten in the restaurant, which is cozy and very nice. I also recommend the sweet and sour pork and the fried ice cream.

28/09/2025: I've been going to Sushi Elis for many years, and when they had the à la carte menu, it was my favorite Japanese/Chinese restaurant.
I returned after years, and unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be; I was deeply disappointed.
The Cantonese rice tasted mostly of oil, and the nudon spaghetti with shrimp and vegetables tasted almost like vinegar.
The quality/price ratio is absolutely not there.
Since it became an all-you-can-eat restaurant, it's lost the quality that once distinguished it.
The service is impeccable, and the place is nice and welcoming, but I'm sorry, I won't be returning.
Too bad.

18/01/2026: I had lunch here on a Saturday, with an all-you-can-eat menu. The food was excellent: quality sushi, fast and attentive service, and a lively atmosphere.
I definitely recommend it.
17/01/2026: The service is terrible and the food too, once I got home I felt sick and when I ordered a dish I got double the amount.

04/01/2026: The outside entrance is very elegant. The inside could be more tasteful. We hadn't booked, so we were open to flexible seating, but the food was excellent and they have good service... but not the mezzanine! Leave the mezzanine alone; none of the diners liked it. Remove the tables from the mezzanine. We'll book next time.
20/11/2025: We had high hopes for this restaurant because every time we pass by, it looks really nice from the outside, but sadly, we were disappointed. As other customers' comments show, you either love it or hate it. The food had absolutely no flavor: the gnocchi tasted like plastic, the seafood spaghetti tasteless, the fried chicken was like so many others. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was truly good. Ordinary. I won't return.

21/12/2025: If there's zero star I would put it. The waiter is so impatient, and that when we ask for recommendations and she just say everything is nice, like zero suggestions. And the food looks mediocre and the taste is depressing, does not taste like what Chinese food should be. And the place inside is so dark like it is closed

26/12/2025: We are a hungry Chinese American family of five. It has been 6 days in Italy. No food, no water. Just pizza and pasta. We were on our way to another pizza place. Then, like a lake in the desert, Koi Japanese Restaurant appeared. The AYCE saved us, we bussed down sashimis, yakitoris, ramens, edamames, with a beautiful view of the Duomo, at a toe tickling price. 10/10 would recommend
