25/05/2025: A reliable source told me that it is one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants he has ever been to, even better than many of the best restaurants he has been to in China. I have to say that I was surprised above all by the simplicity and how healthy each recipe was, with very interesting ingredients. The broccoli, the eggplant, the rice with shrimp and mushrooms, the grilled ravioli were delicious. Highly recommended.

19/06/2025: A good restaurant with dishes that are a little different in flavor than expected but still tasty in most cases. The rice spaghetti was not particularly tasty while the chicken and rice were very pleasant. The place is very typical and I think it is a historic establishment in Florence. Maybe they also have a lunch menu, you could tell from the orders of regular customers, but they didn't offer it to us The prices were slightly above average as was the quantity.

08/07/2025: Atmosphere: Outside, there are overlapping chairs and the floor at the entrance is cracked, but the interior is decent. Service: We asked for two bottles of water, but they brought one, and we had to ask for it again. We also asked for two teriyakis, and they brought one. We also ordered three croissants, and we received two. It's truly shameful. I didn't hear a word from the staff. After one order, they took away the menus and the leaflet. Food: The food is more than decent, the sashimi is sublime, I recommend it.

03/06/2025: One of my favorite sushi experiences! 🍣 We had dinner at this restaurant on Tuesday night and we were thrilled! The restaurant offers both the All You Can Eat formula and the à la carte menu, with a wide variety of dishes for all tastes. The price for the AYCE dinner was €24.90 per person, and one thing I really appreciated is that there is no cover charge if you order drinks. The menu is really rich: in addition to the classic sushi, sashimi and gunkan, there are also less common options such as meat dumplings, which are rarely found in other Japanese restaurants (in addition to the usual gyoza). They also offer poke bowls, soups, creative uramaki and many interesting proposals. Everything was delicious and fresh. The environment is welcoming, with pleasant background music and a relaxed atmosphere. The place is very clean, and the service was fast and courteous. I really like that the kitchen is run by Chinese people, who bring an authentic touch and great attention to flavors — I say this with great respect and admiration for the quality of the work they do. I have been to several sushi restaurants, but this is definitely one of my favorites. I will be back soon!

24/07/2025: The owner who is a lady is very rude. She clearly doesn't like tanned skin. The stir fry vegetable dish came with a pool of oil. The wind flew a small hair on the dish and the owner has told my husband your wife probably put hair on the dish. This is very bad way to treat people only because you can't stand their nationality. Her approach was racist and when pointed out about the dish with a pool of oil her comment was that is how they cook their food. Will never come back until the lady learns politeness.

13/06/2025: We’re both vegetarians and were very impressed by the food. The natural flavors of the ingredients and vegetables really shine through, complemented by just the right amount of seasoning. Unlike some places that rely on pre-made or frozen products, it’s nice here is handmade with care.

19/05/2025: bad attitude. Get there half an hour before closing time. The owner didn’t even answer the question of whether I could get a quick takaway and turned his back on me. Very bad attitude. It says it closes at 3 o'clock, I arrived at 2:30 and asked if I could take it away instead of eating in the store. The owner just turned his head and didn't answer and drove me away. Even if I came late, at least the attitude should be better, right?

06/04/2025: Non fanno menù all you can eat diversamente da come dicono, a inizio servizio mi è caduta l’acqua sul tavolo e mi hanno dato solo dei tovaglioli di carta per asciugare senza cambiarmi tavolo (risultato: sono stata per tutta la cena con la manica del maglione bagnata) Qualità del cibo non altissima, riso troppo cotto che restava in gola, chiesto più volte un coltello mai arrivato. Di solito prima arrivano gli antipasti e poi i primi invece é successo il contrario, inoltre a me é arrivato subito il riso mentre a mia madre dopo venti minuti (di solito si portano insieme per non far mangiare le persone da sole) Il gelato fritto non era nemmeno gelato ma un impasto, come si può vedere da foto. 40€ é stato anche troppo per la qualità del cibo e servizio. Gelatina sulla torta? La cameriera che balla per conto suo nascosta dal separé in legno e un altro con i calzini senza scarpe

13/06/2025: We arrived at Maki Maki at 11:30 PM, convinced we were going to have a great night, but it was a real disaster. After half an hour of being inside, no one had even bothered to bring us drinks. The guest of the evening arrived after 2 AM, an endless wait without any explanation or respect for those who had been there for hours. The icing on the cake? When I dared to complain — quite legitimately — about the fact that it was already 2:15 AM and still no one had shown up, a gentleman (I don't know what role he had, but he was behind the console) thought it best to answer me... by pushing me. A total lack of respect, professionalism and safety. Not only did they not even let us leave in the meantime, but the treatment was truly unacceptable. Overrated place, terrible organization and aggressive staff. I will never return and I advise anyone not to set foot there.

08/06/2025: We were a group of eight guys on a mission to throw a bachelor party to remember. Despite numerous warnings from locals — who recommended more elegant and relaxed environments in the Viareggio dock — we decided to challenge fate and cross the threshold of the infamous Maki Maki. As soon as we entered, we found ourselves catapulted into what seemed like a summer camp for teenagers: the average age at first glance lower than the right to vote in Italy. The service was a bit poor. The table was dirty when we arrived and the waiters were practically absent. And yet, between a kid looking for cigarettes and a few shaky drinks, the evening began to pick up pace. Good commercial music, surprisingly engaging entertainment girls, and the price was all in all fair for a nightclub in this area. A positive note to the very kind guy who served us a hookah at the table with a smile on his lips, saving the honor of the service. In short, Maki Maki is an experience that is somewhere between memories of teenage vacations and unexpected fun. Not for everyone, but if you're looking for music and a touch of the absurd, with the right mix of tequila shots, you might even come away satisfied.
