Batong In Milano

As a Yunnan native eating here, I'd suggest not ordering the small pot rice noodles...it doesn't really have much connection to my hometown. On the other hand, the stir-fried beef with pickled bamboo shoots was quite good; the meat was tender and of good quality, with a hint of Dai flavor.

I love Chinese cuisine, and despite my high expectations, I thoroughly enjoyed today's lunch. The menu is extensive and carefully curated, the service is fast, and the staff is friendly. Everything we tried was excellent and had a very distinctive flavor, distinguishing it from many restaurants (which, despite being of medium-high quality, all seem the same). The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. Be sure to book ahead of time, especially through Google; the restaurant is often very busy. I hope to return soon!

Batong in Milan is an authentic Chinese restaurant that truly took me back to China. Authentic flavors, fantastic dishes, and an experience I recommend to anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine. Truly fantastic!

A rather formal Chinese restaurant serving traditional Chinese cuisine. Spicy and fragrant.

This place was recommended by a Chinese friend. The food might be a little spicy (adjust accordingly), but the preparation and flavors were excellent. The four of us loved it and were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back, especially considering the vegetarian options. The service is quick but confusing: side dishes arrive first, main courses shortly after, and appetizers last. I have to say that, not being Chinese and not necessarily paying attention to order, it's okay, but something better could have been done. The atmosphere is nice, but it's still confusing, so much so that sometimes you have to raise your voice to communicate, which adds to the chaos. In conclusion, we think it's absolutely worth it. Calling to make a reservation is highly recommended. PS: Forget about the all-you-can-eat options; we spent €25 each for four drinks, and we left full and happy. Well done!

I'm always happy to come to Batong for dinner, the food is very spicy but the myriad of flavors that explode in your mouth are a feast.

The food was reasonably tasty and the service was good.
