Good quality food and generous portions
Very friendly service with the lady who looks after both the outside tables and the outside tables
Simple but very clean environment
Located in the Buonarroti / Wagner area
Parking is difficult in the area, in fact it is mainly frequented by people from the neighborhood
05/09/2025: Bar Calypso is a place where you can feel at home and enjoy delicious homemade ravioli and involtini.
Cristina has an incredible aura and makes you feel at home in her restaurant.
For dining out, I recommend making a reservation!

08/12/2025: Since it was our first time, we asked how it worked, and they gave us a quick and unsatisfactory answer. They told us the broth to order, but it was for four even though there were two of us, one of whom had never touched it because it was extremely spicy even though they had told us it wasn't. When the hotpot arrived, they didn't tell us the cooking time even though we asked, and only at the end of the meal did they tell us that there were shared condiments in one side of the room. I suspected the broth was "recycled" from previous customers' broths, given that I found pieces of meat in it that didn't belong to us. Honestly, avoid at all costs.
24/11/2025: Nice place for a different kind of evening, but nothing special about the food. Almost everything was frozen. The staff was very friendly.

20/09/2025: I've been there twice. The first time was decent, but the second time, unfortunately, I didn't like it. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the smell. The sushi didn't seem fresh, and I personally didn't like the taste at all. There was something about the rolls and the salmon that didn't convince me.
The kindness is there, but that's not everything.

18/10/2025: A nice discovery center of Ascoli Piceno. We went to the second floor. You order a la carte. Food was coming very fast. Great service. Good choice and quality were fantastic. We will definitly come back with our family.

17/12/2025: It's been losing its edge lately. The soy noodles were so overcooked they were black, the service leaves much to be desired, the food they bring to the table is almost always lukewarm or cold, and fried food tastes like burnt, stale oil. The place is very cold, with cold air coming in from the windows (near the tables), and the heating seems non-existent... no, I think I'll be back.

22/10/2025: We ordered through Just Eat, and I don't understand the negative reviews about the quality: the value is excellent, and the sushi package was super cute. The vegetable and shrimp dumplings were also good, as was the steamed bread with cream! Great prices; we took advantage of their 20% off offer. They also used plenty of soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. The only downside is that the food arrived a bit later than the time indicated on the website, so I won't give it a full score, but if I could, I'd still give it a 4.5.

12/08/2025: I've been there three times since May, and each time it's always exceptional. The chicken and teriyaki wok rice is delicious, I'd eat it every day if I could. The ravioli are among the best I've ever eaten. Last time we ordered a bento, which they only do for lunch, and it was exceptional.
Highly recommended!
