06/01/2025: We were pleasantly welcomed into this place in the center of Cava by the very kind and professional staff and we had lunch here on the day of the Epiphany, after having booked conveniently online. The food is really excellent and refined in combinations, the very tasty meat melted in your mouth, The first courses were very tasty and varied, we will certainly return also for the "home" atmosphere that was felt. We felt pampered by the very kind owner and his collaborators. Advised!!

17/01/2025: We went for the first time on a Saturday evening and despite this we were punctual in being seated!! Quick service and top staff... but above all excellent food!! We got some sandwiches with some excellent beers to accompany!! Try the chips with pistachio and mortadella!! Top!!

03/12/2024: Siamo stati alla Colombaccia per una cenetta di famiglia. Che dire? Abbiamo gustato ottimi piatti che hanno soddisfatto il palato di grandi e piccini e siamo stati coccolati dal personale, molto cortese ed attento. Ottima la frittura di pesce, buonissimo il polipo ed anche l'insalata di seppia e scarola! La ciliegina sulla torta è stata la zeppolina con zucchero e cannella che si scioglieva in bocca. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

03/01/2025: Total disappointment, I wonder how you can pay €54 2 place settings €6 1 first course carbonara €16 1 Squid with escarole, a truly miserable dish with 4 little rings of squid that just looking at it leaves you speechless! 1 sweet Creme brulee €8 never paid anywhere in Europe €8 not even 100g in the bowl 1 coffee €1 1 bottle of natural water €3 We will certainly never go back again. After looking at the menu we were leaving and the owner at the cash register stopped us saying that he could do anything outside the menu since we had been eating fish for 4/5 days and so we stayed, and I asked if it was possible to have a plate of penne all'arrabbiata and he recommended a carbonara and I told him it was fine and I trusted him, which I shouldn't have done, we should have. Now I understand why the place was empty!

31/10/2024: It's a restaurant like I wish they all were. Very good gastronomic experience. What I liked the most was that my lunch went from strength to strength! Very good anti-pasti, razor clams which were the dish of the day, followed by excellent homemade tagliatelle with egg, mushroom and provolone sauce, and then came the dessert, a caprese al limone, so good that I I ordered a second! And to finish, a lime limoncello from the Amalfi Coast, whose owner gave me the address of the producer, accompanied by a sweet treat in the form of a chocolate and chestnut tartlet, a real explosion of flavors in the mouth to finish this magnificent meal that I will not forget.

02/01/2025: Found another place where I will "definitely" return when I get around here. A piece of advice for travellers....go there at least once. I don't think you will regret it unless you are looking for a gourmet restaurant where you spend a lot and eat little..... Here the cuisine is simple but genuine, it would be a sandwich shop but Francesco also serves everything on the plate. Licia's sauces are excellent. There are also some pretty good typical dishes, in short, a place where you eat well and spend well.... Thanks guys for your friendliness and... by the way, I had forgotten my backpack (nothing important) and Francesco did It was a long ride to reach me on the bus to bring it back to me. Thanks again....

30/12/2024: Located in a side street of the main street of Cava de' Tirreni (SA), a city that has one of the liveliest nightlife in Campania, Farcito Bistrot is a small place, furnished like a Parisian bistro, in which you immediately appreciate the informal atmosphere favored by the manager, Francesco, or if you like, the "dear tractor", as I prefer to define him, after having proposed to him the alternative between the poor innkeeper and the dear tractor, and having received consensus on the second. The dear tractor is a jokingly quick man, he loves irony, exchanging jokes with customers, having fun with them, if they feel like it, even with teasing, in an atmosphere of lightness. The restaurant specializes in sandwiches, but also offers a good range of typical dishes, with excellent fried foods, vegetables, soups, beef and pork, desserts, bitters and, only for lunch, some first courses. All products are carefully chosen to ensure the highest quality, even the wines and beers. In this regard, being a teetotaler, I managed to overcome the resistance of the dear tractor to also have non-alcoholic beer, so that even if he keeps them hidden because he is ashamed of them, he has provided himself with a few cans of zero alcohol beer which he takes out of the hiding place when I stop there. Obviously, there are also opportunities for vegetarians. The price is more than honest, compared to the quality of the food and the friendliness of the place. Never regretted a cent.

31/12/2024: We had a very good time, we arrived late, in fact the restaurant was empty, but they kindly waited for us and served delicious traditional dishes! we expected that for two starters, 4 first courses and half a liter of wine we would have spent less, but overall a good experience; congratulations on the meatballs with sauce!!!
