13/09/2025: Everything about our experience at l'Orangerie was excellent! The ambiance begins as you approach the restaurant through the the pool area warmly illuminated with candles. We are reminded of the deep history of this special place as we pass by a small section of exposed ancient Roman ruins upon which the Hotel was built. The restaurant staff was highly professional, kind and very attentive. Equally high praise to the Chef and the entire kitchen team for the preparation and presentation of a fantastic culinary experience that pleased us on every level. Grazie mille l'Orangerie!!

30/08/2025: The food was mediocre at best! Service was really bad! We got the vegetarian pasta which was slightly undercooked and the fish with potatoes which was tasting ok but a little chewy. The overall service was horrible! We had 3 different servers asking us for food and each of them had no idea what we had ordered so it was a chaos. It showered last night which is not their fault and to be be fair they moved us to a covered space but only after insisting a few times. There was light flickering on the side which spoilt the whole "vibe" of the "fancy" restaurant. The complimentary bread which we got felt "stale" and "chewy". I would expect to get fresh warm bread when I am paying so much price for the food. They seem to make the food and experience so "pricey" but the experience which they offer in return is terrible! Would not recommend again.

17/08/2025: We had the pleasure of staying at Artis Domus and our experience was extremely positive. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great courtesy by the owners, three sisters Rita, Ilaria, and Francesca, whose kindness made the atmosphere even more pleasant. The location stands out for its serene and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. Special thanks also to the chef, who delighted us with truly delicious dishes. We particularly appreciated the family atmosphere and the various amenities offered by the property. In particular, the pool was a real treat on this hot August afternoon, offering us a moment of refreshing relaxation. An experience we highly recommend and hope to repeat soon! Anna and Alberto

29/07/2025: Sono stata al Ristorante Sorrento e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole. I piatti erano super buoni, cucinati con cura e davvero saporiti. Il servizio è ottimo: il personale è stato gentile, disponibile e mi ha fatta sentire subito la benvenuta. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato nei dettagli. Anche il prezzo è giusto, considerando l’alta qualità del cibo e l’attenzione che viene data al cliente. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

21/09/2025: Unripe fruits and vegetables (even though they are ordered for same-day consumption). Cherry tomatoes are not good. Deli meats are good.

15/10/2025: Great location and atmosphere. Unfortunately, one of the waiters was so arrogant that the restaurant suffers greatly. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad. Unfortunately, we definitely won't be returning.

22/11/2025: Lovely experience, tasty food, great quick service. The waiters were super attentive. We had the caprese salad, mushroom risotto, carbonara and tiramisu & the homemade limoncello is delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

17/11/2025: Updated: husband was very sick in the night after eating here, avoid €26 for grilled chicken and chips was a rip off. Should have read previous reviews before eating here. The fact there was available tables should have been a red flag! However staff were very friendly and efficient. Plus food arrived within 5 mins of ordering, how is thatfl fresh!

24/11/2025: Locale turistico nel centro di Sorrento che punta tutto sulla posizione… e purtroppo si ferma lì. Il cibo raggiunge appena la sufficienza, ma i prezzi sembrano usciti da un’universo parallelo dove la qualità non conta. La pizza margherita a 9 euro è un colpo al cuore: forno elettrico, consistenza e sapore che ricordano fin troppo da vicino una pizza surgelata rimessa in vita all’ultimo. Il panino con hamburger a 12 euro è quasi una provocazione: un panino bianco con dentro un hamburger minuscolo, senza salse, senza contorno degno di questo nome — solo patatine semicotte che sembrano aver cambiato idea a metà cottura. E per dissetarsi? Una birra piccola a 4,50 euro e una media a 7 euro. A quelle cifre ti aspetteresti almeno qualcosa che faccia dire “ne è valsa la pena”. Invece no, è solo l’ennesima conferma che qui il target è il turista distratto, non il cliente soddisfatto. In conclusione: se cercate qualità, rapporto prezzo-valore o semplicemente un pasto che abbia un senso… meglio guardare altrove. Here you pay a lot and get little, too little.

17/11/2025: Beautiful place in the center of Sorrento near the Circumvesuviana station. Excellent food, service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere thanks to the friendly staff and the extraordinary owner. Definitely worth a visit both day and night, even just for an aperitif. I went for an evening with live music and a DJ. Exceptional!

25/07/2025: Comida deliciosa y excelente servicio. IT fue realmente una experiencia gastronómica exquisita y aunque algunas personas se han quejado del precio, hay que pagar por la calidad. Gracias por hacer nuestra velada tan relajante y agradable.

22/07/2025: Precioso restaurante elegante con comida a juego. Gran selección de entrantes y variantes de sushi (principales un poco más limitado pero suficiente para elegir). Los postres fueron muy buenos, giros inteligentes en algunos clásicos, pero probablemente el menor de los 3 platos. Todo en la comida era genial y un cambio bienvenido de 12 noches consecutivas de comida Italiano. Los tamaños de las porciones son razonables y la comida estaba muy sabrosa y bien presentada. El servicio era genial - atractivo, atento pero no intrusivo. Nos tomamos nuestro tiempo y no tuvimos prisa. Los cócteles eran fantásticos! Alguna gran ubicación específica (que yo sepa) brebajes. Vistas estupendas y un buen ambiente zumbante (pero no abrumadoramente). Solo una pequeña crítica / observación es que fue sorprendente saber que no sirven bebidas calientes. Por lo tanto, un café después de la cena no estaba disponible. Sin duda recomendaría.

21/10/2025: Great place .....Lorenzo and Riccardo provided great service and hospitality...the breakfast was first class and servers were attentive but not intrusive....the grounds were beautiful and the outdoor pools were excellent ....especially enjoyed the limoncello at the outdoor bar area after dinner....the eggplant parmesan was excellent as was the ragu.....thanks for a memorable visit!!

21/09/2025: Good hotel with friendly and service-minded people. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but the hotel had a shuttle bus which compensated for this.

09/10/2025: After a booking issue that was my fault Hotel del Corso was very helpful in finding me alternative accommodation in a pinch. Very thankful and on that alone the service was 5/5 stars. Thank you very much Hotel del Corso.

05/09/2025: Bad experience... they call a hotel an establishment that in Spain would be classified as a guesthouse or inn. Located on the second floor (it simulates a home converted into a guesthouse). They gave us a room with three flights of stairs and no elevator (we had to help each other carry our luggage). The breakfast buffet was meager (carton juices, etc.) with little replenishment of what they ran out of. The key control system was almost prison-like (every time we left, they asked us if there were anyone else in the room, and we had to explain ourselves). They made us pay the tourist tax before checkout, so I had to ask for a receipt, and they gave me one that wasn't official (let everyone draw their own conclusions regarding the purpose and use of the tax), and they frequently asked us what time we were leaving the room. Also, on our first night, my son's bed had a very large dirt stain on the bedspread and sheets, and they blamed my son for it. In short, a very unpleasant experience. The only praiseworthy thing is the location, very central on a busy pedestrian street. Nothing like the Hotel Plaza in Salerno or the Exe Majestic in Naples, which had excellent quality and service.

02/06/2025: We had a really strange experience at this restaurant. We ordered 2 antipasti and a bottle of white wine to accompany these courses (tomatoes & mozzarella and a cod/squid/prawn). At the same time we placed our order for the 4 main courses, two of which were meat courses. 10 minutes later they bring 3 of the main courses and 1 antipasti. It went downhere from here and they blamed the chef. The red meat was way overcooked. This place is WAY OVERPRICED, especially considering that they do not know how to course the meal. I could go on and on. Sad really because the view is spectacular.

31/10/2025: Came here 2 nights out of 3 in town as Carprese salad was best ive had. Calamari was top notch and both pasta dishes fantastic. The tagliolini was home made noodles.
