28/08/2024: The restaurant is hidden in the Regina Giovanna relay, you have to ring the gate at the end of the one-way street to access it. The setting is calm, cut off from the world and splendid. Italian cuisine with an original twist, delicious dishes. The olive oil and limoncello are made on site. I discovered this address late, I am even disappointed not to have taken the room in the relay which also seems magnificent. The service is great and the staff are top notch with good advice! The price-quality ratio is very, very good. I think it's best to make a reservation to be sure of having a table. However, watch out for mosquitoes at the end of the evening, it is better to protect yourself before arriving 👌🏻

08/05/2024: Exceptional experience at this hotel restaurant. From the moment we entered reception, the staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. The food is incredibly fresh (from their garden) and the staff gave great recommendations. The property itself is stunning and a true Italian gem.

28/06/2024: What a great little spot among so many great little spots. It doesn’t have the diversity of food that some places have. It does have well priced good quality food and drink , fair portions, and a great location. Nice to relax snack and have a wine or coffee and people watch.

24/08/2024: This place is always busy . Service was good , pizzas and pasta were fine . It is not fine dining , it is pub grub , but that is fine . Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced so it is good value for money and the location is very good .

19/10/2023: Best meal I had in Sorrento! So many places had bad service, and were downright rude. They didn’t want me as a customer, and they were eager to tell me so. By contrast, here I felt genuinely welcomed and was treated very well. Raphael stopped me from ordering too much — I’ve never had someone say that at a restaurant! My first course was messy, so he brought three large wet naps, and a bowl of warm water with a lime in it! When have I ever been treated better? And he speaks English. Everyone was helpful and friendly. they were immediately responsive when I wanted to order something else, and the courses arrived without long delays, but only when I said I was ready. That’s the way to do it! Food was good, especially spaghetti and meatballs, and a long list of desserts. La Cazzarola is a must return to on my next trip to Sorrento.

15/10/2023: Ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante girando per il centro storico di Sorrento attirati dai colori e dalla particolarità della struttura.Personale simpaticissimo e cordiale con un’attenzione al cliente superiore alla media.Abbiamo provato il piatto del giorno,la famosa genovese e ne siamo rimasti sbalorditi.I dolci infine sono stati una piacevole sorpresa.Da provare assolutamente per chi viene da queste parti

20/08/2024: We were on the beach and we thought about sitting there, we thought it made pizza or sandwiches, okay, but it had tomato pennette since we had to dine at the restaurant in the evening, we ordered pennette, and already the owner, asking for pennette, got annoyed, perhaps he wanted me to get very expensive spaghetti with clams , on the menu the penne cost 9 euros and he was there and he made her pay an absurd 14 euros to make him happy we had a fried shrimp and calamari and in the end three penne a fried calamari two water and a coke we paid 85 euros in the evening we had dinner near the sea in the center at the (ruccio restaurant) paid 58 euros including clams and other items, not recommended

20/08/2024: Trattoria by the sea, we ate very well based on fish, everything fresh and worth returning.

31/08/2024: Ruccio is the worst tourist trap in Sorrento. It’s expensive, the pastries are stale, the coffee is weak, and the service is outright hostile. Avoid Ruccio!

01/08/2024: One of the best meals if not the best meal we’ve ever had. Everything we ordered was divine: risotto, gnocchi, filet and amberjack. Just 10/10 for us and we cleaned our plates.

13/07/2024: Ritorniamo sempre in questo bellissimo Ristorante ed ogni volta sempre meglio.....Location stupenda, rilassante e fuori dal caos che si può vivere in città con l'alta stagione. Ottima cucina e servizio super 5 stelle lusso. Bravi!!!

06/08/2024: As a regular visitor to Sorrento this was our first time at this bar, Setting is good overlooking the bay of Naples, but the prices are a rip off, certainly would not be going back. 12 Euro for a aperol spritz, other places 8 Euro. Can of sprite 5 Euro elsewhere 3.5 Euro. This area is of course a tourist trap and these people are knowingly using this to overprice items.

11/07/2024: Lovely warm welcome from the waiter. I wish I had got his name as he was so courteous. I was on my own and the table he first gave me was by the fridge and I felt I was in the way of the waiter’s prep area. He quickly moved me to a much better table that had great views and was more relaxing. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I will be back.

02/09/2024: Terrible experience. Starter was a fried cheese number that looked like it’d been deep fried in a chippy. Group of people at the entrance counting the takings from the evening. Scam! Don’t buy into the social media hype. Avoid and try many of the other lovely restaurants in the area.

01/09/2024: Unique restaurant! We went there with a group of 8, including well trained kids, and it was really marvelous to enjoy each other's company and have dinner in one of the most stunning restaurants we visited. Food and wine are great, just as the service. But this restaurant offers such a unique atmosphere... Every corner you look at is photo worthy.

25/07/2024: I've gone here about 6 times over the last 3 weeks. Had the same sandwich each time and every time the sandwich was great. I have been charged between 5 and 8.50 euro each visit. My final visit he charged 14 for the same thing I've gotten every time and he's served me multiple times. I asked him and he said because special toppings. I get these every time and that's why it's been around 8. 14 is ridiculous but I'm a 21 year old tourist with cash so he took my cash and I assumed it would be around the usual. I didn't go back in to confront them because couldn't do anything but I just want to warn other people. Great food but disappointed they would take advantage of a young tourist.

22/06/2024: My husband loved the take away wine! They were friendly and offered samples of so many things. Really cute little store.

24/03/2024: Ne vous trompez pas sur l'enseigne, la charcuterie et le fromage n'ont rien d'allemand . Les tables en trapèze pourraient l'être en revanche. Un très bon dîner avec un service attentif et gentil et du très bon vin à prix raisonnable. Un endroit très agréable à l'entrée de la rue piétonne.

17/03/2024: Bel locale,personale super gentile,ma nel complesso troppo caro per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Tagliere di salumi a 30 euro,bottiglia di vino a 20. Focaccia simile alla pinsa romana,senza la possibilità di farla di gusti diversi... quindi anche poca scelta nel menu.

22/08/2024: Pillows were like bricks. Shower plumbing is misplaced. Food was adequate and on time for our large group and service was very attentive. Free shuttle service to downtown Sorrento for shopping and promenading. A grand hotel with a glorious past, I imagine

02/07/2024: Nice hotel, friendly staff. You can buy drinks, breakfast was nice - basic choice of scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit, lots of choices of regional pies. A bit further way from Sorento, therefore more quiet spot. Parking 20eur/day

20/06/2024: Excellent hotel and excellent service in every way! The loving breakfast girl and the super friendly and helpful receptionists! Of all the hotels I stayed in in Europe, it was by far the best. Love from San Juan Argentina
