13/09/2025: Everything about our experience at l'Orangerie was excellent! The ambiance begins as you approach the restaurant through the the pool area warmly illuminated with candles. We are reminded of the deep history of this special place as we pass by a small section of exposed ancient Roman ruins upon which the Hotel was built. The restaurant staff was highly professional, kind and very attentive. Equally high praise to the Chef and the entire kitchen team for the preparation and presentation of a fantastic culinary experience that pleased us on every level. Grazie mille l'Orangerie!!

30/08/2025: The food was mediocre at best! Service was really bad! We got the vegetarian pasta which was slightly undercooked and the fish with potatoes which was tasting ok but a little chewy. The overall service was horrible! We had 3 different servers asking us for food and each of them had no idea what we had ordered so it was a chaos. It showered last night which is not their fault and to be be fair they moved us to a covered space but only after insisting a few times. There was light flickering on the side which spoilt the whole "vibe" of the "fancy" restaurant. The complimentary bread which we got felt "stale" and "chewy". I would expect to get fresh warm bread when I am paying so much price for the food. They seem to make the food and experience so "pricey" but the experience which they offer in return is terrible! Would not recommend again.

31/12/2025: The place is located in the center with the possibility of sitting at a table. We were advised and were really enthusiastic.

21/10/2025: Stunning views and amazing eats! Enjoyed the outdoor patio for lunch and a fantastic dinner inside. Both locations were a fantastic view. The best tiramisu during my stay in Italy! Really enjoyed everything I tried from this restaurant.

17/10/2025: Best restaurant in Sorrento. We visited it several times, which we don't usually do. The dishes are beautifully presented and taste even better. The absolute highlight is the Lemon Delight. We haven't found a better one on the entire Amalfi Coast.

31/10/2025: Came here 2 nights out of 3 in town as Carprese salad was best ive had. Calamari was top notch and both pasta dishes fantastic. The tagliolini was home made noodles.

08/03/2026: I happened to pass by downtown Sorrento in early March. The atmosphere isn't bad, with decent service, but unfortunately the food, especially the fried calamari and shrimp, isn't great.

08/03/2026: Dirt everywhere—tablecloths, glasses, plates... Old, rotten mushrooms on pizza, old baguettes, and bitter olive oil. Antipasti fried in old, stinking oil. And worst of all—warm beer in a dirty mug. And we didn't get a receipt because the register broke... RUN!

12/12/2025: The place is very beautiful, with gorgeous views, the service was a little slow but nothing too bad, I loved it!

12/11/2025: Very expensive and not worth it. It's unpleasant to feel ripped off. It looks like just another place, but it must be the worst in Sorrento.

19/09/2025: Coffee was great but do not eat here it was shockingly bad. Food tasted like it had been microwaved, the pizza tasted frozen and much like cigarettes. It was soggy.

09/10/2025: After a booking issue that was my fault Hotel del Corso was very helpful in finding me alternative accommodation in a pinch. Very thankful and on that alone the service was 5/5 stars. Thank you very much Hotel del Corso.

05/09/2025: Bad experience... they call a hotel an establishment that in Spain would be classified as a guesthouse or inn. Located on the second floor (it simulates a home converted into a guesthouse). They gave us a room with three flights of stairs and no elevator (we had to help each other carry our luggage). The breakfast buffet was meager (carton juices, etc.) with little replenishment of what they ran out of. The key control system was almost prison-like (every time we left, they asked us if there were anyone else in the room, and we had to explain ourselves). They made us pay the tourist tax before checkout, so I had to ask for a receipt, and they gave me one that wasn't official (let everyone draw their own conclusions regarding the purpose and use of the tax), and they frequently asked us what time we were leaving the room. Also, on our first night, my son's bed had a very large dirt stain on the bedspread and sheets, and they blamed my son for it. In short, a very unpleasant experience. The only praiseworthy thing is the location, very central on a busy pedestrian street. Nothing like the Hotel Plaza in Salerno or the Exe Majestic in Naples, which had excellent quality and service.

05/03/2026: It was the only place open and they let us sit down even though they were getting close to closing so we really appreciated that (hate to do that btw not something I normally do) but it was off-season so tons of places were not open even though Google said they were. Seafood risotto tasted like the ocean which was interesting but not my favorite, bread was a bit stale in the burrata appetizer otherwise good, my girlfriend had pasta, can't remember what it was but she liked it. Super friendly waiter he suggested a nice 1/2 bottle of Taurasi that was great. And he was very kind telling us to enjoy ourselves even though we felt bad it was late. We saw him again the next night next door and he was so happy he came over and gave us a kiss lol

04/03/2026: It's just like kimbap heaven. It's not tasty. The menu is incredibly extensive. I was going to go next door, but the lady persuaded me to go. It really tastes like a food court. The service is friendly...

20/12/2025: Don't order from this place. It's a complete disaster: delivery times, cold food, and the wrong one (with plastic stuck to the arancini I ordered).

20/09/2025: Food poisoning. I ordered two kebabs on Glovo last night, September 14th. Both my partner and I are feeling sick, but I've had the worst of it, with severe diarrhea and vomiting that's still persisting today, September 15th, 24 hours later. I tried to write to Glovo to let them know, but I don't know if they got the notification. Attention!!! Throw away everything related to the kebab. I hope it stops and gets better, otherwise I'll just have to go to the hospital tomorrow due to excessive fluid loss. But something like this happened.

10/08/2025: 1 litre of homemade Limoncello for 14€. This is the family business, and they told the lemons come from their local plantation.

15/07/2025: I always ordered a cheese plate to go and Panini from them, to say that it is very tasty is to say nothing. All the products are fresh, and the service is incredibly high-quality. The guys will help you with your choice and take into account all your preferences. I highly recommend this place!
