04/04/2024: The fried squid and shrimp are incredible. Perfectly fresh and delicious. The grilled sea bass is also perfectly fresh and delicious. Very nice presentation. The tomatoes are also fresh and delicious with nice seasoning. The service was fast, courteous and accommodating for gluten allergies. The prices are competitive. The pasta dishes I saw served to tables looked very delicious and the portions are generous. Under rated. Returned 2 years later. Still excellent, highly recommended, especially the squid.

12/11/2023: Lovely clifftop cafe right in the centre of Sorrento by the cliff side lift. Always busy, decent food, free snacks with drinks orders. Nice place to sit and people watch with views over the bay

02/09/2023: La Villa has an awesome position overlooking Sorrento and is perfect for sunset drinks if you are looking for great views and photo opportunities without the big ticket rooftop bar prices. Our waiter (a curly haired gent who seemed to work every day) was polite and helpful, always with a smile, and made us feel so welcome. The cafe offers free snacks with drinks, sometimes so many you didn't need a meal. When we ate here the food was your traditional Italian fare, but the lasagne was especially good. Prices were very reasonable for Sorrento.. bit hey its really all about a cold beer and that sunset!

21/09/2023: I arrived early in Sorrento and stopped by the cafe to have breakfast before check-in. The woman who works at Jinja was amazing ~ Friendly Jinja was so friendly and I really liked it. The cafe latte, cappuccino and espresso were all delicious. I also ordered an omelet and fried egg toast, but it felt a bit expensive, but the overall atmosphere was good. It was good and I was satisfied with everything haha ​​I hope you are blessed at work.

31/03/2024: A very quaint little hotel atop a magnificent hill overlooking Sorrento. A family run business. Rooms have all the basics and our room was spacious with a balcony.

25/11/2023: Nice family owned hotel in the hills of Sorrento. Good view of the bay, expresso bar and drinks, quant rooms, nice family made breakfast options, and great service. By the cottages, there is also olive, orange and lemon trees. The only issues we had were the TV not working and the dinner being a bit bland. It is a bit farther from the city center (15 minute drive) but not too bad. It's quiet and lovely.

11/03/2024: The croissants, the staples and their coffee and cappuccino are good, both the girl and the gentleman are always super kind. It's a shame that you can smoke in the veranda room where the air then becomes unbreathable

01/02/2024: I came here not once but 5 times during my four day stay in Sorrento. I was on the hunt to find the best croissant and I found it!! The pistachio filled croissant is my absolute favorite! I have travelled all over the world and nothing even compares to these goodies. If you’re looking for the best pastries, don’t walk… RUN to this place!

24/03/2024: Ne vous trompez pas sur l'enseigne, la charcuterie et le fromage n'ont rien d'allemand . Les tables en trapèze pourraient l'être en revanche. Un très bon dîner avec un service attentif et gentil et du très bon vin à prix raisonnable. Un endroit très agréable à l'entrée de la rue piétonne.

17/03/2024: Bel locale,personale super gentile,ma nel complesso troppo caro per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Tagliere di salumi a 30 euro,bottiglia di vino a 20. Focaccia simile alla pinsa romana,senza la possibilità di farla di gusti diversi... quindi anche poca scelta nel menu.

01/04/2024: Let me start by saying that we are a group of six people (three couples), advance payment for the three different types of rooms: one economy (on the first floor landing), one standard, the other with sea view. Upon arrival, a lot of confusion at the reception, in particular for the sea view room: initially it was 109, then there was 106. Being in the same group, it was normal to compare the rooms: the standard room 104 was perfectly the same as 106. When we left the rooms and asked for explanations: the price difference was justified by the view of a glimpse of the sea (really a glimpse) and in any case we were told that it was the standard room (104) that had a benefit, and not the 106 to have been "penalised". The heated discussion ended with the recognition of the same price. The difference was deducted from the cost of parking!!! Another thing that has NO reason to exist, since on the site if there is mention of the lack of lift there is no mention that the parking is paid (20 euros per day) and given the location (suburbs) there is not alternative. In the rooms not a chair. The mediocre breakfast, the sandwiches on Monday were from the days before, the edge of the coffee cup was dirty (we asked for another one). In summary: the quality/price ratio is absolutely inadequate. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

19/03/2024: Brown Stains on their bedsheet , very rude staff, 4days in a row hair and stains on towels and sheets, Location is dangerous with 30 minutes walk to centre. Nothing good about this place. Avoid.

20/11/2023: Got the hard sell before I even had sat down. An old man (proprietor?) raved about his speciality of the day insisting I have it. It was pasta fagioli with baby octopus (neither a traditional dish nor everyone's idea of a good pairing) . He seemed so proud that he had only cooked it that morning! It was evening. A massive hulk of a man hovered over me insisting that I have something from the menu, after declining the octopus. In truth I only had entered as desperate for the bathroom and was just going to have a drink as I'd used the toilet. You weaken though on holiday and want to relax, not tussle with goons, so I ordered a pizza, mainly as I hadn't had one yet. Begorro or whatever the Irish is. My 6 year old niece knows more about how to make a Neapolitan pizza than this crowd. The base was too hard to cut with a knife and topping not fully cooked. The dough must have been defrosted then kept in the fridge for a couple of days, then spread out with a rolling pin with no attempt at shaping, just a jagged bit of disaster for the pig pin. Decent pizzas are sold elsewhere cheaper in more authentic Italian environments. The number of good reviews though clearly show why there is so much poor quality peddled in tourist spots. Why make an effort for the 5% when the rest are happy with any nonsense food preparation.
