30/09/2025: The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the olive ice cream palate cleanser was a standout—truly delicious. Our favorite dish was the pork cheek, which was tender and flavorful. The staff was attentive, though they seemed a bit burned out? While the plating was elegant, some dishes were slightly too salty and lacked the depth or wow factor you'd expect from a Michelin-level experience. Overall, the meal felt like it was missing a bit of the passion and joy that typically defines high-end dining. Thus 4 stars instead of a 5.

30/09/2025: Simply the best restaurant in Sorrento and the surrounding area. Excellent use of raw ingredients, meticulous attention to detail in the plating, and excellent service (the restaurant's flagship). Giampiero and his staff make this place truly unique.

02/10/2025: Above all, I like the sense of humor of the servers. They are cheerful and friendly. I had gnocchi and carbonara risotto, and they were all delicious. The tiramisu was really delicious. The four of us were full, so we drank five glasses of wine, two main dishes, and only one dessert. It looks classy, ​​but don't be intimidated.

19/06/2025: An absolute gem of a sandwich shop. We went twice and the sandwiches were delicious. The two ladies running the shop couldn’t have been nicer. A must if you’re in Sorrento.

18/06/2025: Came here thanks to my daughter and TikTok 🤦🏼‍♂️. 45 minute wait in line to order then another 35 minutes to get it. But Food was excellent and worth the wait. The staff is friendly and fun singing along with the great playlist - keeps it lively met lots of nice people in line. Note: VERY limited seating! One small hack- download their app (extra 2€ per sandwich) and order ahead of time - pick it up at your convenience, however, you cannot order the classic hot sandwiches on the app …..that should probably be fixed but otherwise excellent.

Nestled just steps from Tasso Square, Caruso Museo is a true hidden gem- it’s tucked away from the tourist bustle yet right in the heart of town. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The service was impeccable, attentive without ever being intrusive, and every detail was carefully thought through. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and even more delicious than we could have imagined. The flavors were refined, perfectly balanced, and worthy of its Michelin recognition. The ambiance added to the charm, elegant, intimate, and full of character. If you are looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Sorrento, skip the tourist traps and treat yourself to Caruso Museo. It’s an absolute must-visit and a meal we’ll be talking about for years to come.

18/09/2025: The salad was surprisingly sooo good and flavourful! I don’t like the bitterness of arugula and this salad got none of that and got all the things i like LOL order the “enjoy salad” especially if you need some veg after days of pastas. The cannelloni and fish were good too. Overall a really good meal. Remember to go early as the place is small and you might have to wait if you miss the first seating. Seats were filled in the first 10-15mins of opening for dinner.

16/09/2025: Fish was full of scales. Waiter said this is normal for fresh fish. Completely unacceptable. *Updated review in response to owner I will take the time to write a proper review given your response. I'm glad you remembered that I finished the gnocchi, however this did not reflect the quality. It was okay but below average, and I finished it because I was hungry. You may also remember the three napkins I required to remove all the fish scales from the mouthful I ate. While I accept that occasional scales in fish is unavoidable, I do not believe it is acceptable to be served a fillet of fish that has not been descaled. It reflects poor care and attention to detail, and is disappointing you stand by this standard of service. I hope you reflect on this honest feedback, and I do believe this is an important review that potential customers should be aware of if this standard of food you are happy to stand by. Google is an important source of information for both business owners but also consumers.

04/10/2025: It is my fault that I didn’t read the bad reviews and the owner’s replies to these reviews before I frequent this unprofessional restaurant. I found TWO, NOT ONE, WEEVILS (those rice bugs usually found in an opened bag of pasta) on my gnocchi. I noticed them as soon as my dish was served, and immediately brought it to the waiter’s attention (a middle age man). To my surprise, he said NO WAY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, it must have fallen into the dish from the plants I’m sitting next to. Denying the fact that there are indeed two bugs on my dish like I put the damn bugs there, instead of fixing the problem. I don’t care how the bugs get there. I want my pasta bugs free. The first thing you should do is get rid of the damn bugs or get me a new dish. Not defending yourself like I am accusing you. Avoid this restaurant at all cost even though the restaurant on the other side of the street has a long line.
