The meat was excellent, cooked to perfection. But above all, the service was top-notch, thanks to Ida and Giulia, friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back!

28/10/2025: Excellent McDonald's, with very fast and efficient service. The food is delicious. The only drawback is that it has few exclusive tables, so you have to use the shared tables with other restaurants to eat, which can be tricky during peak hours. Worth a try.

26/03/2026: Humiliating experience. Three friends and I booked a table for Wednesday evening at Pizzaingrammi in Quarto. From the start, we felt like second-class customers: we were assigned a table in the back room, small, cramped, and pressed against the corner wall, with other customers practically crammed into our backs. In the same room, however, other tables were large, well-spaced, and had much more comfortable seating. The difference was evident even in the chairs: on one side, actual armchairs; at our table, old, tiny, and extremely uncomfortable ones, the kind of straw ones you'd see 30 years ago, so much so that we had to have at least two of them replaced. We dined with no room to move, with coats and bags draped over us, while a few meters away, other customers were comfortably seated at wide tables with even extra space to put their belongings. A truly unequal treatment that's hard to ignore, especially since the other comfortable table for four was occupied by three men, while there were actually four of us at the tiny one, bags and all. Furthermore, throughout the evening, the pizza chef frequently came out and stopped next to our table to chat with other customers, blocking the only free space we had and making the atmosphere even more suffocating. And I'd say suffocating in every way, because, to make matters worse, at one point a barbecue was even brought into a small, poorly ventilated room. When we asked to be moved to a more comfortable table, we were told that there was more than enough space and that the inconvenience was due to the fact that we had changed chairs. An unprofessional and, frankly, even offensive response. I accept that they didn't have another table available, but I won't accept anyone telling me that if I'm uncomfortable, it's my fault for demanding a decent seat, especially since the space was cramped beforehand. It's a shame, because the pizza was good. However, such an unpleasant experience completely negates the quality of the food, which has become completely marginal. Perhaps it would be worth giving up a few extra seats to ensure all customers receive the same level of comfort and respect. After all, we paid the same amount as those who were guaranteed a pleasant experience, but somehow it felt like ours was worth less. We ran out as soon as we finished eating, decidedly uncomfortable. I don't think we'll return, and I strongly advise against it.

07/12/2025: The order arrived incorrectly, and they brought me the correct one back a while later, asking me to return the incorrect sandwich, presumably to the customer who was missing it (which, on principle, I would never have given because, if it had happened to me, I wouldn't have liked receiving a sandwich that had been touched by someone else). For the third time, the delivery driver stood outside the door demanding payment for a sandwich (vegan, not to my taste, and which I wouldn't have eaten anyway) that I hadn't ordered or made the wrong one. Honestly, you're hilarious, and don't come and tell me about company policies that required the sandwich to be returned to verify it was incorrect. A photo or my word would have been enough, since I don't have the magic ball to figure out what sandwiches they order from you. You simply wanted to give it to the customer who ordered it, even though he had come into my house and we had opened it. Disgusting.

08/04/2026: I've known them for a while, especially during these Easter holidays. Pastiera isn't my favorite dessert, but theirs is truly noteworthy and my favorite! I was able to order and pick it up at Easter (they had a half-day delivery). When I got it, it was still warm, and I have to say...this year, too, it was worth the effort to go all the way to them.

04/01/2026: I'd like to start by complimenting the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I've already personally complimented the owner (Pietro) when I went for lunch today for my father-in-law's 70th birthday. But I'd like to leave a personal comment on social media. I'll start with the location, which is meticulously maintained and spacious, unlike many places that crowd you in just to get things done. Here, the space was just right, and you didn't have to play Tetris near the table to make room for the food. Moving on to the food, I can be sure of what I'm saying, given that there were three chefs at the table (who have been in the business since 1969), plus me. Like everyone else in the same profession, I'm critical and meticulous, as well as having a certain palate. I can attest that all the ingredients were high-quality, fresh, and flavorful. Starting with an appetizer where nothing was frozen, delicious croquettes and zeppole, and not to mention the flans. But I want to compliment the chef for the pasta and potatoes, which with its simplicity and its "pav chell e mamma" flavor, the right portions and seconds at the table of all the dishes, and they never made a fuss about any request made. Last but not least, because in my opinion the real added value of Rifugio del Nonno is the staff, courteous, polite, attentive to detail, always polite and kind, and above all the extras, they also gave all the support possible and this only means that the owners treat those who work for and with them well. A true team must be united and they are. These compliments are not made out of niceness, friendship or anything else but simply because THEY ARE ALL DESERVED and we must give credit to those who sacrifice themselves every day to achieve certain goals and do the best for the diners. As I told the owner today I wasn't able to eat much because I had the flu, but I will come to visit you often and I will send people because I am sure I will only make a good impression. Thank you for the magnificent day you gave us.

19/08/2025: My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant. The quality and price were truly exceptional, the service impeccable, and we were truly pampered. The staff were exceptional and the food exquisite.

22/11/2025: I accidentally discovered what I thought was a simple café, but it was actually an excellent cafeteria (with great variety and quality), a pastry shop with truly excellent artisanal desserts (I had a very good black cherry cookie); delicious baked goods like bread, taralli, and the like; the staff was very friendly, and the owner was incredibly kind. I'll be back!

05/04/2026: We were there on Saturday evening, March 29th. We ordered a panuozzo for two people, with two flavors: one with sausage, mushrooms, and mozzarella, and the other with hamburger, potatoes, and mozzarella. I want to point out that the sausage smelled of pork, and the hamburger, in addition to being raw, had an unpleasant taste, as if it had gone bad, and in fact I felt sick during the night. The place was welcoming and nice, perhaps the only positive note, certainly an experience not to be repeated. It's a shame we didn't take photos of the meat we left on the plate.

16/03/2026: We're a group of friends and we had a lovely Saturday evening. The food is good, something for everyone. You can choose from meat, fish, sandwiches, and pizza. The desserts are also excellent. The karaoke entertainment is excellent, and the owner Costantino is very friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
