12/02/2026: Amazing food! Very good frittatas. Truly excellent pasta. Pasta and potatoes made to perfection. The carbonara was good, but the guanciale was slightly burnt (maybe that's just the way they make their carbonara). Then I noticed they use egg yolks from plastic cartons (like milk), not fresh eggs. It's a shame they ran out of Genovese. I wasn't crazy about the Genovese panzarotto. Prices are perhaps a little higher than usual. Very nice place.

11/01/2026: One of the rare times when it's worth spending a little more to eat at a higher quality level🔝. And if you add that you can also sit at the tables without paying a cover charge, it's definitely another reason to come back again. The frittatas are spectacular.

26/07/2026: Passing through Pomigliano, I had lunch at this seafood restaurant yesterday and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was elegant and well-appointed, the staff were welcoming, smiling, and professional, and the seafood menu was varied and catered to every taste. There were four of us, and the dishes we each chose were well-proportioned, well-prepared, and delicious. Add to this the fact that, for me, a native of Bologna, the bill seemed more than fair, and I highly recommend it.

14/06/2026: Always top notch. This place was born from a historic butcher shop. Everything you see in the dining room is carefully selected and, above all, top-quality. The meat is truly top-notch. Cleanliness and professionalism are a given. The same goes for the sandwiches. As soon as you enter, at the cashier, they give you a sheet of paper to build your own sandwich. During the short wait, you can eat a variety of delicious things: from their own fries to pork ribs with their homemade barbecue sauce, which is truly exceptional. In the meantime, the sandwich arrived. A spectacle. And the prices are absolutely reasonable. Excellent. There is no table service; they give you a number and when you hear it over the speakers, everything will be ready. They clean your table before and after. All the staff and owners are kind and helpful. I returned for lunch on Saturday to eat the meat. We tried the Angus. Both the meat and the sides were excellent. On Saturdays, they have a special lunch menu. I highly recommend it. Regarding parking, after 8:00 PM you can park anywhere, there's no charge. Was this helpful?

12/06/2026: Seven burgers were made right before my eyes (I don't remember the name of the chef who served me). I chose the type of meat, nice and lean. I saw it, everything was perfect in my eyes, beautiful. Then he added a piece and I told him, "I see it a little," and he started explaining to me that it was to prevent them from drying out, and I stopped there. I took them home, two cooked (once) and what can I say, fantastic, fantastic.

16/05/2026: I've been coming to this place since they opened, and I can tell you I've never had a better sandwich than Gigione's, and I've tried quite a few... Besides the quality of the ingredients, which is a given and beyond discussion!!!!! Add to that the kindness and professionalism of the staff, always attentive to every need. Basically, do you want to eat a real/serious/properly made sandwich? You have to come to Gigione!!!!!

12/04/2026: Overall, I found all the dishes delicious, but the wait for each one became unnerving. In the end, to avoid having to wait for the dirty dishes to be cleared away and for plates and silverware to be brought back, we were forced to eat with our hands to finish. We would have gladly tried something else, but we decided against it. What a shame!

08/08/2026: My friends and I went to Decimo Morto on a not-too-crowded Thursday evening (we entered as scheduled at 9:15 PM without noticing a line or crowds near the restaurant) and the experience was far from pleasant. The wait for the sandwiches was almost two hours (we ordered around 9:40 PM and the sandwich arrived at 10:55 PM; I've attached photos of both the reservation and the sandwich, along with the time stamp) and the service was terrible: the staff were truly incompetent and rude. There were several misunderstandings with the waiters, who, never trusting our word, consistently showed an unfriendly attitude, compromising the quality of the service. This ranged from the confusing sandwich order to the authoritative tone of voice implying that one of them had been taken out (when one was clearly missing from the table). Another serious shortcoming in the service impacted the quality of the food itself: we weren't asked how the meat was cooked, so all our sandwiches were rare (very rare, which I don't think is a particular recipe for bread with drops of blood from undercooking). It would be good manners to ask for the type of cooking and, in the absence of such a question, suggest medium, not rare. Finally, a sandwich that was truly difficult to remember, but overall acceptable for the amount we ate. All things considered, I doubt we'll ever return! P.S. I want to clarify that my review is absolutely not motivated by any ulterior motive, considering we have no intention whatsoever of returning to this place, let alone receiving discounts or the like. My comment is simply a criticism based on how we ate and how we were treated, and I would have absolutely no interest in making inaccurate or exaggerating certain things. But if nothing else, this is the same attitude of superiority and inaction (when things are told as they are in terms of dissatisfaction) that the staff has also demonstrated in person. Not that the customer is always right, absolutely not! But a minimum of politeness and humility when responding to our humble observation, when we repeat for the third time that the sandwich hadn't arrived, or at least an apology when it turns out it was as we said, or even now in the reviews, WOULD NOT HAVE HURT.

07/08/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would. I was recently at this place with friends (there were nine of us). They sat us at one table and after 10 minutes they made us get up to sit at another table (no problem, we did it without a problem). The waiter took our orders and after 10 minutes the drinks and appetizers arrived (two chips to share in the center, one of which was wrong, but they didn't charge us and replaced it). The problem comes now: we waited an hour and a half (counted) for our sandwiches, and in the meantime other people arrived after us and were served. At a certain point, seeing the situation, we called the waitress to ask for an explanation, and she replied, "Your sandwiches are next." The sandwiches arrived for everyone except me, and the waitress left, saying "Enjoy your meal," as if she'd brought them to everyone. I pointed out that I hadn't received my sandwich yet, and she asked me what I'd ordered. I told her, and she left. Immediately afterward, another waitress (a red-haired waitress) came over and arrogantly told me, "Your sandwich is out." I told her, "Nothing's arrived here," and she said, "I brought it" (insisting, even though it was clearly visible on the table that I was the only one without a sandwich). I kept pointing out (and I repeat, it was VISIBLE TO EVERYONE) that I didn't have a sandwich. He leaves and then comes back saying, "Yes, sorry, your sandwich was left on the grill." (Really?) Result: our sandwiches all had completely raw meat inside. No, it wasn't rare, it was actually raw, and this is unacceptable, both for an hour and a half wait and because they didn't even ask us how we wanted the meat cooked (and when you don't ask the customer this, the meat is cooked medium, and this wasn't even rare). Terrible, we'll never go back.

23/02/2026: Exquisite food, a varied menu, incredible pairings, fresh, quality ingredients, generous portions, and artistic plating. Excellent and punctual service, from the welcome to the suggestions, replacements, and descriptions of dishes. Welcoming, air-conditioned atmosphere, pleasant background music, clean and well-maintained. Wide selection of wines and beverages. Passion and expertise are evident in every little detail!

31/01/2026: A very satisfying dinner, all the dishes were delicious! I'd just suggest briefly describing them when they're served so you can better appreciate all the ingredients and preparation. The hummus was divine, but it would be nice to have some homemade bread with it! We'll be back :)

03/12/2025: This evening my boyfriend and I went. We had a cuore caldo and a pistachio pandoro brioche. Both were excellent, with lots of fillings and plenty of it. It was our first time there, and I was so happy we tried it. It's worth it. The price isn't that high; in fact, other places that try to offer something like this actually sell it for more! It's a very special dough; in fact, I've never had anything like it. My compliments, and I'm happy to see this guy's success. God bless you!
