08/09/2023: siamo arrivati a Pizzo e subito l accoglienza è stata fantastica.. nella piazza principale c’è il “bar del centro” dove si mangia il vero e sopratutto l’originale tartufo di pizzo buonissimo il migliore 😍 il proprietario Daniele e i dipendenti fantastici…educazione professionalità simpatia e divertimento tutto insieme lo trovi solo da loro!!! grazie infinite ragazzi

30/08/2023: Locale situato proprio nella piazza centrale, con possibilità di degustare il tipico Tartufo di Pizzo. Il valore aggiunto lo da la gentilezza e cortesia del proprietario! 5 meritate stelle anche per il fatto che hanno il Tartufo di Pizzo anche in versione vegana, adatto anche agli intolleranti al lattosio quindi! Fantastico!!! Grazie ancora per aver pensato anche a noi! Andateci, non rimarrete delusi!

12/10/2023: OTTIMO IL GELATO, MA I PREZZI ,CONSIDERATO LA POSIZIONE DEL LOCALE, UN POCHINO "ESAGERATI".....MANGIATO UNA BRIOCHE CON GELATO PAGATA 5€ ...LA STESSA BRIOCHE MOLTO PIU' GRANDE 3,50€ IN SICILIA....CMQ IP GELATO E' DI OTTIMA QUALITA'

24/08/2023: Per la prima volta ho assaggiato il tartufo di Pizzo. Sono rimasta davvero contenta perché era buonissimo. La location era molto curata anche nei dettagli e il servizio era buono. Lo consiglio senza alcun dubbio.

20/01/2024: On the road, convenient both for stopping and consuming there and for refueling and consuming elsewhere (beach, square or sea). We stopped because it inspired us, and because many workers and builders were going there for their lunch break. And it was an excellent discovery: then it was also filled with kids queuing for pizza. Excellent quality (fried and baked calzones, different types of arancini, pizzas, bread products), excellent service. The coffee is also excellent. We will return often when we pass by Pizzo.

28/02/2024: Ci sono stato con la mia ragazza e volevo fare i complimenti per la disponibilità e bravura del barman per la qualità del Gin utilizzato per i cocktail .Torneremo.

18/11/2023: Our first few days were spent in Pizzo, one of them being a travel day with late arrival for any beach time so to kick off our beach adventure we picked Lido Regina Del Mare as our best bet. We visited Regina on the back side of Summer so we knew most places have either shut down or are in process which this lido was doing when we arrived at 10:30 and thought maybe they were closed for the season already. The owner Mimmo set us up with chairs, an umbrella and friendly introductions as well as some discussions about what we may like for lunch and I mentioned loving mussels and my wife loves a good Vongole (almost once a day if she can get away with it) and off he went. We tried out a mezzo or two of local rose wine while taking in the views of Pizzo in the distance we had the beach to ourselves for least for a few hours until others came after lunch. The beaches in Calabria are some of the most beautiful in the world and crystal clear due to most beaches being rocks of vary size from match head size pebbles to golf ball with very little sand to murk up the water so bring good water shoes. Luara is Mimmo's wife she is also the chef and runs a tight ship she cooked two of the best pastas we had of the trip a red mussel for me and vongole for the wife we returned plates that could have been put back on the shelf. Very attentive service with great food set in a scenic uncrowded beach just a short way from Pizzo should make this place at the top of your beach needs in this area. It is a true family affair and we felt very well looked after I also got to play with their German Shepard Aria for a bit whenever I made a trip to the bar which was an added bonus.

08/09/2023: Pizza di ottima davvero. Mi avevano parlato di questo Ristorante-Pizzeria. Siamo andati ad provarla. Davvero ottima. Ho visto servire in altri tavoli piatti a base di pesce. Comunque è un Peccato che questo locale chiuda al termine dell’estate perché non è strutturalmente progettato per rimanere aperto durante l’inverno. Per cui alla prossima..,, Estate
