10/12/2025: A very charming place with attention to detail. The owner, Mr. Vincenzo, and his wife are highly knowledgeable and made us feel at home, part of the family, while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Dinner for 20 people was arranged with the owner, who was able to recommend the best options while respecting our requests. The dinner featured high-quality, fresh seafood, expertly prepared and presented. Everything was truly excellent.

The spectacular outdoor space allows you to admire the castle even on warm winter days.

24/02/2026: It was a challenge to find a restaurant open for dinner during the week in February in Scilla. We weren't expecting much, considering it's not the peak season, but we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very unique, elegant, with background music and extremely friendly staff who offered us two glasses of prosecco and an aperitif while we waited for our dishes. I highly recommend it.
22/02/2026: A quaint setting. We ordered two spaghetti dishes that looked like clams, but were actually a garlic and oil dish for €22—and I repeat, €22 per dish. Two fried calamari dishes arrived dark and bitter, and the fryer oil absolutely needed replacing, for €15 per portion. I have to say, it was one of the worst lunches I've ever had.

19/07/2025: Este es un gran restaurante. La comida es buena, así como el servicio. Comimos aquí un par de veces durante nuestra estancia en Scilla. La comida es preciosa. Mi esposo tuvo Picanha un par de veces. Teníamos el plato de mariscos que era bueno pero no vale la pena los 18 €. Tuve filete de atún que era bueno y especial de día lasaña de pez espada que era delicioso, que deben poner en el menú seguro.
El único problema que tengo es el precio. Para un restaurante de calle con scooters y coches pasando los precios son demasiado altos. El costo es comparable con restaurantes en Chianalea con impresionantes vistas y asientos en el océano.
11/07/2025: ¡Experiencia magnífica! Nos encantó el ambiente y la comida. Estas pastas estaban deliciosas y el vino también. Michael nuestro camarero fue muy servicial. ¡Gracias!

30/12/2025: Be careful to not be scammed.
I’m Italian , from Reggio Calabria, but my wife is French and we live in U.S.A.. They made us pay 100 EUR for a lunch worth 30 EUR just because we were speaking english and they thought we were foreign tourists.
A fruit juice, usually worth 2 or 3 EUR in any other bar, was charged 8 EUR.
Avoid this place if you are in Scilla…. there are many better and honest places down there.

06/09/2025: The food, service, and ambiance are 4 stars, but what about the overall rating? The authenticity of the flavors and the traditional cuisine are rare. We'll be back and we recommend it.
30/08/2025: The owner makes you feel at ease, very friendly, I asked if I could stay a few days in a tent the response was immediate without any hesitation, taking inspiration from her restaurant (I'm a cycle tourist) there are some fabulous places in the surrounding area, (cycle path of the parks of Calabria) apart from the truly succulent cuisine in the various orders very high score for the courtesy recommended I will gladly return.

30/12/2025: This restaurant is run by a family of swordfish fishermen. We tried excellent dishes (mixed appetizer (meatballs, prosciutto parmigiana), paccheri alla ghiotta, and swordfish rolls).
P.S. Obviously, 90% of the dishes are swordfish-based, and Calabrian wines are included.
30/09/2025: We ate here twice, beautiful setting, friendly helpful staff, but most importantly amazingly fresh, perfectly cooked seafood, we'll be back

23/05/2025: Terrible food. The octopus salad was horrible, so we rejected it and they did not charge it in the end. The fried calamari and shrimps were oily. The fried potatoes were ok.
Stay away!
12/05/2025: Zwaardvisbruchetta beneden alle peil. 5 stukjes dunne toast met een smakeloos prutje pasta en in totaal 3 stukjes zwaardvis (op 5 toast). Zeer slechte bruchetta en belachelijk duur voor 10 euro!
Uitzicht wel prachtig en relaxte muziek.

19/12/2025: A truly wonderful atmosphere. You could sit outside on the terrace, which was directly over the water. Great view of Stromboli. Delicious food and phenomenal coffee and cappuccino. Highly recommended!
08/12/2025: A small but truly welcoming restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the cuisine: dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, with attention to detail and authentic flavors. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very courteous, creating a family-friendly atmosphere without ever being intrusive.
A place definitely worth a visit: I'll gladly return!

02/12/2025: Reading the reviews of this restaurant, we wouldn't have gone in... But we were hungry and had an hour before our train. Ultimately, we were very happy with the food. Our portions were huge, freshly prepared, fragrant, and filled with high-quality seafood and fish!

06/09/2025: €20 for one umbrella and two loungers in the second row. Clean beach, clean bathrooms and showers, soft music, crystal-clear water. I recommend it.
23/08/2025: We spent the day at the beach, renting sun loungers and parasols for €20. Two draft beers were €9. The food was good, typical beach food, but I thought it was a bit pricey. We spent €36 on two bottles of water, a hamburger, a sandwich, and two coffees. The hamburger was a great surprise, highly recommended.
The staff is very friendly.

06/08/2025: Dopo aver ricevuto il mio gelato, ho chiesto se il gusto fosse corretto, visto che era diverso da quello richiesto. La signora, invece di rispondere con disponibilità, ha reagito rispondendo in modo scontroso, facendo anche discussioni nel momento in cui le ho fatto notare i suoi modi poco professionali.
Nota positiva per il ragazzo che è venuto a prendere l’ordinazione al tavolo, dal momento che si è scusato per i modi della signora.
La cortesia verso il cliente non costa nulla e dovrebbe essere alla base di un’attività a stretto contatto con il pubblico.
In questo posto, a quanto pare, è lusso.
28/07/2025: Quando vado a Scilla con la mia famiglia pranziamo sempre qui. Ottime le pizze, sempre ben cotte... da provare la pizza al pesce spada e anche il panino con pesce spada capperi e pomodorini...una vera delizia! Quando abbiamo voglia di dolce prendismo le granite... semplicemente le migliori di Scilla! ( ottime quelle alla frutta) Le brioches sono fatte al forno e abbinate alle granite sono il top! Consigliatissime anche le brioches con il gelato. ( provate il fior di latte!) 😋❤️

04/07/2025: Lido con un atmosfera accogliente e rilassante, perfetto per godersi una giornata al mare sulla stupenda costa Viola. Il personale, estremamente gentile e disponibile, è sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Gli ombrelloni e i lettini sono ben distanziati e la pulizia della spiaggia e dei servizi è impeccabile. Il mare? Uno spettacolo: acqua cristallina e panorama da mozzare il fiato. E che dire del ristorante? Eccellente qualità del cibo e menù vario. In particolare, si possono apprezzare i piatti di pesce fresco e le porzioni abbondanti. Cenare lì godendo dei tramonti spettacolari è pura magia. Consiglio vivamente questo lido a chiunque cerchi una giornata di relax e divertimento in un ambiente curato e accogliente.
04/07/2025: Una cena squisita! Una qualità e freschezza superba! Il cuoco ci ha deliziato con sapori di pesce indimenticabili! Luigi ci ha accolto nel suo locale con grande professionalità e gentilezza. Da ritornare assolutamente!
