Ristorante "Alla Pescatora" In Scilla

A restaurant with an elegant atmosphere and always courteous and helpful staff. The food is decent: the risotto was excellent, but the fried calamari was a shame; it arrived too salty and full of oil. One thing to keep in mind regarding the bill: the menu specifies a 10% service charge, which effectively amounts to a mandatory tip on the total. Overall, an average experience.

I am disappointed, instead of a normal Coke I got Zero, instead of grilled fish I got stuffed calamari. The filling also contained cheese and dairy products, which were listed on the back of the menu, even there only in general terms, not next to the dish. Due to my food sensitivities, I do not consider this a practical and transparent solution, especially since the menu is only in Italian, and it was difficult to communicate with the staff in a non-Italian language. Smoking is allowed on the terrace, which is unpleasant if someone does not smoke but still wants to eat outdoors, on the terrace.

A delicious dinner, the raw seafood appetizer, the swordfish rolls, the grilled shrimp... delicious. We ate on the terrace, two appetizers, a first course, a second course, dessert, coffee, Coke, and a glass of wine. We sat down with our big dog, and enjoyed the light breeze.

Beach pizza. The only advantage is that it's cheap. It's edible, but it doesn't taste like Italian quality.

The seafood pasta was very well prepared, and the location right on the beach creates a maritime atmosphere. The food was served quickly.
