02/10/2025: I rarely write reviews for average establishments. I usually do so if I'm particularly happy or unhappy with them. Almost never if asked. In this case, the review is extremely positive. Excellent staff in every area and excellent food. I'd say the fact that the establishment isn't modern allows for excellent value, and it's all managed by a great person, Rodolfo, a man of few words but great sensitivity. A place worth visiting because it does good in every sense.

08/09/2025: Despite being a state-of-the-art facility with helpful and friendly staff, it is poorly maintained. Maintenance and cleaning are lacking, access is in terrible condition, and the bathrooms are closed.

07/09/2025: September 2025, the cable car closes at 4pm. It's scandalous, it's been done specifically to make people go there in the morning to have their meals. But honestly, rather than let someone from the area rip me off, as a Calabrian "resident in Calabria," I say that under these conditions, I'll take my money to another region where I'm treated better and the prices are better, where tourists are treated with kid gloves. Goodbye, never again.

06/09/2025: Excellent traditional Sila food and impeccable service. The mushroom salad and creamed potato soup with 'nduja and caciocavallo are incredible. The traditional Scirubetta dessert, made the old-fashioned way, is out of this world. Definitely worth a try!

21/08/2025: Lunch at the tavernetta is a unique experience. A pampering experience amidst the poetry of the Sila. Wonderful people who welcome you with kindness and courtesy. Excellent ingredients prepared following tradition but enhancing their flavor, aroma, and substance with originality. It's my favorite restaurant, my favorite chefs in Calabria. Thank you 🙏

28/12/2025: Unfortunately, it was a negative experience. Upon arrival, we were told that the table would be held for two other people who were arriving shortly. However, during the wait, the table was taken several times by other customers, and only after we repeatedly reported it was it vacated again. In the end, despite the initial agreement, the staff justified themselves by saying that they "don't hold seats," which completely contradicted what we had initially been told. This unclear and unprofessional management created discomfort and confusion. Furthermore, photos taken of the restaurant reveal chemical products stored in a manner that doesn't comply with HACCP regulations, a very serious issue for a restaurant business and calls into question its attention to hygiene and food safety. It's a shame, because more clarity, organization, and compliance with the rules would be enough to offer adequate service. At this time, the experience is not recommended.

17/11/2025: A fairly well-known place, off the main drag, but there will still be a line on holidays. The food is average; the same dishes can be found at other restaurants of similar quality. The difference is the large, filling pita sandwich. Unfortunately, at Sunday lunchtime, we waited over an hour for the first course, despite the small crowd. The prices are slightly lower than average for the area.

09/01/2026: Zero flexibility, no attention to customer needs, evidently sacrificed for the sole purpose of profit. I booked a table for 14 people at 1:00 PM over a week in advance. I called a few days later to ask to move the reservation to 1:30 PM, but they told me it wasn't possible. On the day of lunch, we tried to arrive as early as possible and were there at 1:20 PM due to the tourist season ending shortly before. We discovered that our table had been given away because the owner had decided he couldn't wait five minutes after an unanswered phone call I hadn't heard. So when I called him back at 1:20 PM, he told me he couldn't help me because he'd already given the table away. In disbelief, the 14 of us had to suddenly look for another place to eat. I invite you to read the numerous reviews that report rude behavior from the staff/owner, which I had mistakenly ignored. Good food isn't enough if you don't know how to deal with people.

03/01/2026: Excellent experience in the center of Camigliatello. The place is really small, so reservations are required well in advance. Alternatively, you can expect a medium-long wait. Alternatively, the deli next door offers gourmet sandwiches with typical Sila flavors. Both are highly recommended.

12/10/2025: High-quality food: typical Calabrian flavors. Generous dishes, the grilled and breaded mushrooms were amazing, and the first courses were also delicious 😋 An experience I'll definitely repeat. Impeccable service, thank you.

12/09/2025: We had lunch at this wonderful restaurant that we had previously viewed online; it met and exceeded our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were served a complimentary entrée: slices of bread, rosemary crostini, fresh induja, spicy sauce, and meatballs. Everything was delicious. We ordered a mixed antipasto and were truly amazed by the quantity, considering that an appetizer for one person could easily have served four. Again, everything was excellent and flavorful. Next, we ordered two first courses: the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, with a bold, melt-in-your-mouth flavor, and the tagliatelle with goat sauce, with a strong, fresh flavor. We left feeling full and satisfied; one of the best places to go.

07/12/2025: We tried the restaurant downstairs from the bar for dinner. We were satisfied with the portions and flavor of the dishes we ordered. The staff provided excellent service. During the Christmas period, the restaurant is lavishly decorated and generally welcoming. The striking contrast between the bar and restaurant is also quite unusual, making you forget you're in the same place.
