16/09/2025: I've been from Catanzaro since I was born, and
since I love the sea so much, I should know every place, but I assure you, that's not the case 🤣🤣🤣.
I discovered this place purely by chance, and among the many beaches lined up, my "snack buddy" Nilde asked me which one inspires you? And I replied: "This one, definitely this one, because it has these elegant umbrellas, this tidy beach, and then I don't know, but this spot inspires me 🤣🤣." And so it was, 9 days of pure relaxation, thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend it, also for the kindness of Maria, her sister, and everyone else who helped make these days of vacation truly unforgettable.

07/09/2025: Very beautiful beach, well-maintained lido, excellent restaurant. Everyone is very kind and friendly, except for the guy (maybe the son?) who accompanies you to your umbrella. Prices are medium to high, but from my experience, it seems like even in Calabria they're overdoing it, thus hindering tourism growth.

30/12/2025: After ordering two coffees and two pastries, the waitress came to the table with two coffees and only one dessert. We told her that a dessert was missing, but it wasn't brought. At the cashier, we reiterated the point, but she shrugged. Considering the place was almost empty, I'd say it was terrible service.
03/12/2025: I went with a friend and we had a coffee and a bottle of water, and three pizzas (the small ones you get for aperitif) and three calzoncini, also small ones for aperitif. Obviously, everything was frozen. In the end, when we paid, they charged us a whopping €16. When we pointed out that we hadn't ordered the large pizzas (which the waiter had added to the bill on purpose), but the small ones, they changed the bill and charged us a whopping €10. We won't be returning.

28/10/2025: The only thing that's exaggerated is the price. €6 for a mini sandwich.
18/10/2025: I tried their sandwiches a few weeks ago, they were really good.
You can really taste Calabria inside 😉.
I even stopped by Montepaone to pick them up before going to the airport on my last day.
The prices are fair for the quality of the products.
When I return to Calabria, it will be a regular stop 👍🏻.

We tried the fried food and an appetizer, both very good.

22/08/2025: After years, I'm returning to Soverato, and on a humid evening like no other, I decide to book a table at Miramare... A fantastic sea breeze accompanied us throughout the dinner. We ate divinely, and the "sfilatino" was a truly delicious surprise. Impeccable service and a reasonable bill. We'll be back soon.

07/01/2026: Of XXL, only the name remains. The bread was mediocre and the meat was practically nonexistent. With all the ingredients available (except onion), the sandwich was practically half empty. As a longtime customer of this place, I was truly disappointed, especially considering the XXL of so many years ago.

12/08/2025: Villa Ersilia is located in a quiet location outside the chaotic center of Soverato.
We booked a "family suite," and our expectations were far from what we expected given the price.
The apartment was spacious but dirty and shabby, with a moldy shower, ants near the refrigerator, and furniture that wasn't even from the 1980s!
HORRIBLE, as Bruno Barbieri would say.
The price/quality ratio was truly disappointing.
The only positive note: the continental breakfast.
01/08/2025: Villa Ersilia stands out from other accommodations in Soverato primarily for the excellent service it offers. The rooms are spacious, equipped with every comfort (except for hangers in the closet), impeccably clean, and the breakfast is excellent. It offers a convenient free shuttle service and a special agreement with one of the best beaches in town. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

23/11/2025: I took 2 croissants filled half with hazelnut and half with white cream, both croissants we can say were empty, they had no cream at all, I attach the photos, after €4.40 for croissants I expected at least some filling.

15/09/2025: I happened to eat a pizza with my son on 09/15/25 beautiful and well-kept place, adjacent to the Soverato seafront, apart from this unfortunately nothing good my son and I took two Calabria Mia pizzas already from the name it should have been a bomb but instead Disappointment 😤 dry, poorly seasoned terrible dough, the pizzas you couldn't tell what shape they had if round square bhooo! plus you could feel the flour under the pizza, then to conclude the price let's not talk about two pizzas two chips a water a medium draft € 50 never again, believe me around there are 10 and honors pizzerias where you pay much less.
12/09/2025: A waiter who was no longer young but very active served us quickly and fulfilled all our requests without uttering a word with polite and complimentary manners.

24/09/2025: One of the best crepes I've ever had, full of Nutella! The coffee wasn't bad either. The gentleman making the crepes deserves all 5 stars. He was polite and incredibly calm! The only negative was the girl at the cash register; she almost seemed like she was doing us a favor by taking our money and giving us a note.
23/09/2025: A pleasant evening, attracted by the "artisanal granita" sign, we decide to try it. Friendly staff; traditional flavors with the addition of chocolate. Enjoyable, but nothing like artisanal, except for the €4.50 price tag.

19/08/2025: I visited this restaurant with a group of friends, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Two dishes from our order were completely forgotten and were only served after we pointed out the omission to the staff. Meanwhile, everyone else had already finished their food, and we found ourselves starting dinner after the rest of the table had already finished. This completely ruined the atmosphere of the evening. Such a lack of attention to service is unacceptable, especially in a place that should be at least minimally organized. We definitely won't be returning!
17/08/2025: Very disappointed. Almost an hour wait. Many mistakes with the order. No effort to rectify. Food in the end was mediocre. Again very disappointed
