The service is expertly informal without ever falling into banality.

02/03/2026: I've been curious to try it for a few months, and I can say we were impressed.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, ready to answer any questions.
The meat selection was very wide and delicious.
The first courses were exceptional, as were the side dishes.
The starter was also excellent.
The restaurant is small and intimate, so I recommend booking if you don't want to be left stranded.
We'll definitely be back.

29/01/2026: Drawn by so many positive reviews, we wanted to try this place. My opinion isn't negative because I understand the hard work and sacrifice behind this establishment. I'll just say that some things could be improved. As for the cured meats, I've had better in the area, and even the wine glasses could use more attention, especially when you're drinking a certain quality. And even more so if I see a Sommelier certificate on the wall. I really appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the owners.

Antica Osteria Il Borgo impresses with authentic Italian cuisine that's rarely found elsewhere. Many of the dishes are meat-heavy and are prepared right in front of the guests on a charcoal grill โ a real highlight that not only smells amazing but tastes just as good.
The extensive and high-quality wine selection is also a real plus, perfectly complementing every dish.
The ambiance is cozy, the service friendly and attentive โ you simply feel at ease here.
All in all, a super cool restaurant that I will definitely return to. Highly recommended! ๐ท๐ฅ๐ฎ๐น

22/02/2026: We went last night (Saturday) with our almost one-year-old daughter. I recommend this place for the excellent food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the service. The staff were super kind; they had everything our daughter needed ready and always made sure everything was fine. Well done, I felt the "care" that's often missing in restaurants. โฅ๏ธ We'll be back!
18/02/2026: The burger was good, but not excellent. We had requested medium, but it arrived overcooked, making it a bit difficult to swallow. The dish was accompanied by rustic fries and some really good sauces.
For our appetizer, we had tartare, which was very good, although a bit small in quantity.
The service was friendly, especially thanks to the blond guy with the tattoos, who was willing to welcome us even though we'd called just half an hour before 10:00 PM. We have nothing to complain about the service.

20/01/2026: Refined and elegant atmosphere, kind and attentive welcome. The porchetta was simply fabulous (it goes without saying...). We had a delicious beef tomahawk, perfectly cooked, and a sublime braised pork cheek in Amarone, all accompanied by exquisite giardiniera and tasty cooked vegetables. Wow... an experience worth repeating, definitely. Highly recommended.
18/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant between winery visits. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and welcoming, and the food was truly delicious and high-quality. In the evening, we returned for a drink and some takeout, and the staff's friendliness was always a key feature. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

11/03/2026: It is mainly a restaurant that offers quality meat. And when it comes to meat, it's really good steaks cooked directly on a large grill in the fireplace. The flavors are excellent, the wines are perfect, a good selection of Italian delicacies and very pleasant service.
I recommend it!

04/03/2026: I went for lunch for work without checking the standard (which is medium-high) first, but they were courteous and attentive in treating me appropriately. It's a charming place and the food is excellent.
02/03/2026: We visited the place upon recommendation and since we came in the late evening from the south, driving by some steep roads, we were very sceptic about what to expect. But once we entered the trattoria, all the doubts simply vanished. The service was great, the food was exceptional and we left the place with "underpromise and overdeliver" written all over our smiles.
Definitely a place to visit again!

The charming interior is decorated with jerseys, sports items, and photos, making it clear that it's a popular spot for athletes.
An inn for large groups and families.

11/02/2026: We went out for dinner last night and had a T-bone steak that was EXCELLENT, freshly cut and cooked to perfection, it melted in your mouth. Since it was our first time, I can't give you an idea of โโthe price, other than the list price of โฌ7 per 100g for about 1.1-1.2kg.
