30/03/2026: It’s a beautiful space to begin with, the design and decor are lovely and clean. You are greeted with a smile and friendly service. Big portions, the salad and ribs were delicious. Laidback atmosphere and loved how the staff let me speak Italian, it enriched the experience. Alla prossima!

21/04/2026: I celebrated my graduation (a very intimate affair with just 12 people), and they reserved a table for me in the Botanike restaurant area. I chose the ikebana menu with appetizers, first and second courses, and a cake to celebrate. I couldn't have been happier. The service was excellent, and they paid attention to every detail (the table linens, the red candles). They even reserved a table for me for photos with the cake, even though I hadn't booked the entire room. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I consider them professionals!

25/02/2026: My friends and I are now regulars. Friday nights are a regular stop: we go to the Roadhouse in Centro Sicilia for the all-you-can-eat Chicken Tender and Chicken Wings. And I'll be honest: the chicken is really good quality, the meat tender, and the breading just right. When you find this mix, it's hard to go anywhere else.
The atmosphere is always lively, perfect for an evening with friends. Service is fast and organized, even when it's crowded.
I've also tried other places outside of the all-you-can-eat restaurants and have been happy with them: a varied menu, satisfying portions, and consistently high standards.
If you want to eat well and have a quiet evening without surprises, I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, I must confirm with great regret that the place is no longer what it once was. Although the girl in the dining room was very nice and professional, the overall experience was terrible in every way.
Here are the reasons for my disappointment:
Lack of transparency regarding meat: Historically, this place was known for its Argentinean meat, and the menu still plays on this ambiguity by not specifying its origin. The table was served with Uruguayan meat that tasted strange. The owner admitted that he hasn't used Argentinean meat for three years, but that's not stated anywhere.
Cooking and Sides: The meat was served burnt and inedible. To make matters worse, the potato chips were dark, a sign of terrible frying. Even though we pointed this out, the owner said everything was "fine." Those old-fashioned salt crystals? Not a trace.
Unlivable atmosphere: We were greeted by a terrible burning smell and the owner's yelling at the waiter coming from the kitchen. In the dining room, the TV was blaring The Simpsons: a complete lack of professionalism.
Poor value for money: The bill was €85 for lunch (€70 for meat, €8 for three "sweets" of scamorza and speck (much cheaper than in the past), water, and service). We left almost everything on our plates because it was inedible: a real drain.
Uninviting display case: The meat displayed below freezing seems old, giving the impression of being unfresh.
An era has passed. Once upon a time, it was a guarantee; today, it's just a disorganized place with out-of-market prices. Highly not recommended.

28/02/2026: Horse meatballs were completely raw, and the second one arrived extremely raw as well. When it came time to pay our change, €32 was missing. I went back to the cashier and the lady at the counter replied in a firm, slightly joking tone, "Yes, I noticed, but you were gone." A terrible experience.

Das Restaurant präsentiert sich als typisches Pseudo-Amerikanisches Lokal mit Western-Elementen. Die Einrichtung ist thematisch gestaltet und bietet besonders für Kinder einige spannende Details.
Service
• Bedienung: Das Personal ist freundlich und arbeitet professionell.
• Tempo: Die Abläufe sind leider nicht besonders schnell – man sollte etwas Zeit mitbringen, da die Wartezeiten länger ausfallen können.
Speisekarte & Qualität
• Auswahl: Die Karte ist recht umfangreich und bietet viele verschiedene Gerichte, von Burgern über Steaks bis hin zu Tex-Mex-Klassikern.
• Essen: Geschmacklich ist das Essen in Ordnung, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches. Wer authentisch amerikanische Küche sucht, wird hier eher Standardgerichte finden.
Fazit für Familien
Für Familien mit Kind ist das Old Wild West eine solide Option, wenn man Wert auf eine große Auswahl und ein unterhaltsames Ambiente legt. Wer allerdings ein kulinarisches Highlight sucht oder wenig Zeit hat, sollte sich auf längere Wartezeiten und eher durchschnittliche Speisen einstellen.

Invito il capo del personale a selezionare con piu attenzione il personale, questa dipendente è altamente scorbutica, ineducata e non comprende affatto cosa possa significare il termine interagire con i clienti.

07/09/2024: Leone è un vero numero 1 della carne di cavallo, si entra, si sceglie che parte mangiare dopodiché verrà grigliata immediatamente di fronte al locale. Locale spartano dove si viene per mangiare bene e basta. Consiglio la noce di cavallo e le polpette che sono pazzesche. Solo per numeri 1

05/09/2023: Posto caratteristico, rustico situato al porticciolo di ognina, completamente all'aperto, su strada, uno dei posti più conosciuto e frequentato di Catania dove poter gustare delle carne e del pesce fatto sul barbecue davanti ai clienti. Ho provato soltanto un panino con le polpette di cavallo e devo dire che erano davvero ottimi, cottura e qualità della carne e dei condimenti davvero perfetti. Nel weekend è un posto molto affollato, ma ci sono abbastanza tavoli all'aperto per ospitare tutti i clienti. Prezzi bassi.
Consigliato al 100%.
30/08/2023: Pesce fresco contesto nell'insieme non è male ma devo segnalare un piccolissimo dettaglio che probabilmente oggi non è più così .. nelle giornate piovose vista lirregolarita del terreno vi sono tantissimi pozzanghere fastidiose
