The idea of ​​serving the meat directly at the table over a brazier is interesting, but unfortunately the execution isn't up to par: the meat is placed on a plate over the brazier, which doesn't conduct heat, resulting in it cooling very quickly. The quality of the ingredients isn't bad, and you can sense the intention to offer a different experience. However, overall, the technical care that truly makes a difference in this type of restaurant is lacking. Compared to other specialty restaurants, the quality is still room for improvement. A place that's trying, but needs to take a step further to reach higher standards.

I was very satisfied with the dishes: the food was truly good and carefully prepared, with particularly successful sesame croutons, crispy and tasty, which alone are worth the visit. The staff is kind and helpful, attentive to the customer's requests and timing, which makes the experience pleasant from the first course to the last. However, I must point out a couple of aspects that could be improved: at the table, the scent (probably from air freshener or room fragrance) was a bit too strong and covered the smell of the food, which instead deserves to take center stage. Furthermore, the temperature was a little chilly, a detail that can affect comfort, especially if you remain seated for a long time. Overall, however, Pepper Grill remains a recommended destination for those who want to eat well in the Gerenzano/Caronno Pertusella area, with tasty dishes, excellent sesame croutons, and friendly service, with a few small tweaks to the environment still possible to make the experience truly perfect.
